Greetings. This thread is going to be dedicated to all the occult stuff I like to get involved with, for some of my Oblivion characters. Really, occult is supposed to be a bad word, at least it was when I was studying in the 1980s and early '90s. "New Age" was the term we are supposed to use, I think. I like occult better, though.

Anyway, this thread is going to be dedicated to any instances of occultism we combine into our gaming. I'll be doing mostly astrology charts for my characters, maybe even tarot card readings! I might also dredge up some of the charts I did for my characters in the old Beth forums.

This first post is going to be devoted to a character whose chart I should have done a long time ago, but am only getting to now: Kahreem of Weet. I found a website which accurately (and automatically) dials up chart info. I will be comparing any auto-generated things that site has to predict about my goofball Redguard Thief, seeing how accurate these things are.

Khajiit is actually working on creating a small witch coven in Elder Scrolls Online dedicated to Hircine. We already have two witches on our crew but Khajiit is playing around with ideas for one more. This one will post a composite pic of “The Weird Sisters” when he finds the third.

Neat idea for a topic. Like you Renee, when I was little Occult was always a vaguely bad term. Something weird and strange and not for good little boys and girls. Then again, so was the word Witch. I like Occult too, so I guess we are both bad little sirs and madams.

I never got much into astrology. My ex Jaelyn was good at it, and one of her ex's was really big into it. I have always liked Tarot though. I have a few different decks. We used to do readings on our characters after gaming sessions a lot back in the tabletop RPG days. It was really neat, and often incredibly accurate. When I was game-mastering I worked a few readings into adventures, so too did a few other GMs.

I have an old little short story about my Shadowrun character Sakura's tarot reading. If I get time I'll dig it up and post it.
