What would you like to do for a living?
If you are a teenager, what do you want to be when you graduate from high school/college? If you already have a good job, what would you rather be doing? And if you're happy with your job and it's what you want, share it with us anyway!!!
---------------------
I would personally like to be a writer. I've always enjoyed reading and writing stories. I think it would be a fun job, but until I got published, I would probably need something else to put food on the table.
Maybe a musician? I love listening to and playing music as well. (guitar)

I'll bite
In college I'll major journalism, after which I'm thinking about going into the Peace-core for a couple years, because I want to be an investigative journalist. It was really hard to decide that over writing, and my Mom says actually I should major in Liberal arts so I can take creative writing as well. I understand, however, that writers write. I used to write a lot of fiction but recently its all been lectures and arguments. You may not believe this, but I spend a lot of my free time writing essays.

Hmm . . well writing was an interest for me, however not as a career.
Politics as well sounded very interesting (to me), I may try something in that category.
A career in some medical field is most likely for me.
What am I talking about, I'm probably the youngest person on here.
I shouldn't even be thinking about a career right now.

For the past few years I've been interested in writing. I'm writing a book right now, its nearing 150 pages. If it will work as a career, I doubt it, I'm not that good but I'll keep writing regardless of what people think. As far as an actual career goes...I hope to get a job driving trucks in the family business.

Well, I hope to become a writer as well as a 3D character modeler (for games as well as animated films) and animator.

I am sort of starting to learn modeling in 3D, but the learning curve is kind of steep for me. Especially when I am working with 3-4 different 3D programs!
So, I am going to try to concentrate on whatever I can learn this week at home. Then, when school starts, I will try to re-adjust to the 3D program we are using there.
Oh! My mother thinks I could be a good teacher for very small children, which was one of my original plans, but I do not know what to learn for that kind of thing.

OMG dude, you so stole my career path...
I too am planning to be a a pilot if the Air Force decides I'm worthy enough.. Then i'd like to retire when I make Col. and go into politics, first running for a local position and then moving to NC Senator, then possibly the presidency.
If I'm not to old after all that I wouldn't mind going into NASA..
I don't plan to die till I'm at least 99 so i should have enough time =)

Hmm . . .that's a good question.
However, I can still be swayed either way. I'm nowhere close to the minimum age allowed.
So whoever has the most influential ideals in my opinion would probably be my choice.

As much as I disagree/agree with the republican party I really dont want to run in it.. Id rather run as a independent but we all know how rare it is for a independent to get some high up job IE. The prez =\

Yeah I dislike the democratic party more and more but that'll be my ticket when it comes time. The problem though is like Shwartzennegger's. He ran on the Republican ticket and talked about liberalist values a lot, but once he was in office the reublican party told him what to do. His wife kept him on an environmentally friendly track though, though he's ultra-capitalist and a d**k-face.

Call me strange, but my goal is to become a professor of mathematics. Yes, I am serious. At the moment I'm only just about to start my A-levels (including maths and further maths) and after that I'm hoping to study maths at Oxford or Cambridge, then get a PhD in maths and become a lecturer at a university (possibly after doing something else beforehand). Then I just want to work my way up to a professorship.

I'm hoping to get into the computer game industry. Seems like a promising career path. I don't know what I'm good at yet so I'm not quite sure what type of programmer I would be. Guess I'll have to figure that out, and soon.
In my spare time, if I have any, I guess I could be a writer. I've always enjoyed reading and a lot of my old instructors have always told me I'm naturally talented with writing.
Oh well. I don't have a crystall ball so I can't see into the future. Guess I'll just have to approach it a day at a time and see what happens.

It's much I could hope for... I could involve creating console or PC Games, that would be very fun, also by for example drawing stuff that would also be fun to draw scetches and stuff for RPG's, games etc...
Car Designer is not a goal, but something I clearly have taken a interest in if it comes to that I'm going to take a Art Line next year
Also Military Career would be interesting cause I'm really interested in such stuff, things that would include travelling to exotice places, like Africa, India, China, all over there in the east

Humm never seen this before but here we go. I have many goals and have completed a few of them and can't completed some. When I was going up I always wanted to be a cop and be a Marine.
Well for one goal I have completed is being a United States Marine, in which has stopped me from being a cop because I messed up my knee and was Honorably Discharged in July of 2004.
Another dream is to work for OSHA (Occupations Safety and Healt Administration) in which I am going to college right now for my BS in Environmental Technology.
One of my all time goals is to design and maintain webpages. Doing design and writing programs and doing computer things. I do some of it but don't have the knowledge to do it all but am teaching myself slowly. I wonder if that is what I should be going to college for because I am always on the computer and trying to figure out what to do with my website.
I believe I have answered the questions. Actually as for the OSHA I have worked in Hazardous waste and Safety for an excuse of 6 years, and now going to college.

I actually hope to be in a job relating to the video game field. I have been fascinated by them since before I can really remember (literaly) and I have made my own games on many occasions. It's not just a highschooler's dream job I really aspire for that.
