Okay, re-watch the trailer and at around 1:05 pause. There is a skeletal monster with a black cloak throwing a fire ball and apearativly hovering above the ground. My guess is a lich, for some of the other screen captures appear to have liches also.

I like Lichs.
they are super cool, yet positively evil...

Moved to the Oblivion section.
And yes, the creature in the trailer is most likely a lich.

I certainly hope so. They hold so much knowledge I just want to talk to one.

Most definently a lich, I don't think they'd make a skeleton float about like that.
The lich also seemed to have a bit more skin the skeletons do (opposed to none) it's a good way too tell the difference between a skeletal mage and a lich.

I keep hearing about this creature... What is a lich? I think I heard that it transforms into other beings or something?

I've seen screenshot of it, looks like a skeleton, but is there something special about it?

basically, all evil mages aspire to be lichs.
immortal, powerful, etc...

It has way to much skin for a lich, IMO.
Liches should be fleshless skeletons, not floating fireball throwing zombies.

look like.

So?
Liches should be devoid of any flesh.
Just bones.

I sure liches can be interpreted in many different ways. Besides the might have needed you to tell the difference between a simple skeleton mage and an almight lich (thus the rotting green flesh).
It is most definently a lich. No use talking about it any further.

Yea, he's definetly floating, undead, casts spells, skeletal figure and has a robe, what better analogy then the lich?

We could call it a puppy that wouldn´t make it less dangerous

In that quest in Tribune, did the Liches have staves? This one in the video does. Looks like they have put a little more into these guys, making them more formidable! Can't wait!
