A mystery unleashed Playground 11

Mazuk sees Niran run off and follows, while unsheathing his sword.

OOC: There's about 20 of them, to inform you.

Konrad looked around for any other support, then raced after the two men...his small dagger at the ready.

Osano walked through the mirror that lead to Vvanderfall. From where it spit him out, he made his way to Balmora, his hometown. He had no relatives in Balmora, not many friends either. But he still liked to visit sometimes. When he arrived there, darkness blanketed the town; light pierced through the night from a few torches. He made his way to The Eight Plates (I think that's the name of it) and got a room. Before heading off to bed he bought a drink and sat down at a table...


OOC: lol, osano's having a nice drink in a cozy inn while everyone else is getting attacked

The werewolf jumped at Niran, who dodged to the side, he then spun to face the werewolf and brought his sword down.

*Crunch*

Clangor heard the Werewolves attack and grabed his bow. Standing up he ran over to a good posistion, and aimed.

OOC: I have a dentist appontment at 5:30 (EST) so I have to leave soon, just have Clangor tag along.

Sel drew his sword and dagger, and jumped into the fight.

He caught one by surprise, and promtly slit its throat.

More came closing in.

Niran jumped away as one nearly hit him in the back, and he saw Mazuk go after it.

Konrad weaved his way through a small group of them, slicing 2 somachs and a neck in 3 swift strokes. The 2 who had their stomach's slit were angry and badly woundd, but not dead. They charged at him, knocking him down and leering over him. Konrad manged to slice an eyeball out of on eof them but was being closed in on by 3 more, the growls rattling around his brain and the drool matting his hair.

Niran went to help Konrad, attacking with his blade. The one on Konrad was stabbed in the back, and then Niran went after another.

OOC: Edited sorry page went weird when I typed it. So I fixed it to fit.

Mazuk then lunges at the werewolf about to attack Niran.

Knocking the werewolf out of the way from Niran. Mazuk then swings his sword at the creature slicing it opened. The beast lunges at Mazuk, he swiftly moves to the left slashing at its head. The beast hits the ground.

Mazuk looks up to assist anyone needing help.

(OOC: Wait a minute. There's 20 of these things or not? Or are you kidding?)

Celia's eyes widened as a huge group of werewolves continued coming.
Celia took her hammer and carried Triel (who was now wide awake) away from the onslaught.

However, before she could get away, a large werewolf pushed her from behind, knocking her down. She fell onto the ground and Triel was dropped from her arms.

"Aaah!" Celia got up just as the werewolf slashed her arm. She bashed it on the head, but it shook off the hammer's impact as if it was nothing...

Niran lunged towards the werewolf that had attacked Celia, using his blade he attempted to stab it in the head. It dodged and jumped at him knocking him down,he pulled his dagger from his belt. Using his sisters dagger he stabbed the werewolf in the stomach, it made a loud sound of pain and rolled off.

He then went after it with his sword finishing it off.

Niran ran to Celia and looked at her arm,

"Go to Serene!"

Niran picked up Triel and handed the little girl to Celia.

Sel had killed another two, but at great cost - he was scratched and bitten in many places. Sel didn't usually wear armor, because it hindered his movement, but it was times like these that he wished he had it. He hoped none of the scratches were infected...

He did not want to be a werewolf, but if he didn't get the right treatment, he might become one soon

Mazuk has taken a few more of the werewolves out.

Mazuk has been wounded but still fighting to rid the creatures of the camp.

Sel fought his way to Mazuk.

"Back-to-back!" he yelled, as he slashed another werewolf.

Mazuk hears Sel yell "back-to-back" and looks to him to see how close he is.

Mazuk then joins with Sel while continueing the slash at the werewolves.

Jonacin had been about to tell Serene that he loved her too when the Werewolves attacked. He pushed her behind him and called up his Shehai.
He slashed it through the throat of one werewolf and threw himslef backwards as another lunged at him. He spun as he fell back and slashed his blade through it's skull, killing it instantly.

Shakur had been trying to keep the werewolves away from Celia and Triel, but was angered as Celia was scratched. A Shehei appeared in his hand, and he rushed a group of were wolves. He knocked two dead running through the group of four, and watched as his shehei danced and swirved, slicing the left were wolves claws off. He swung both of his swords around above his head and brought them down. The right were wolf had it's body chopped in three, while the other dodged both blades by jumping. Shakur yelled "Slvik broughne werthen" and watched as the beast flew back from his telekenetic words and hit a rock, snapping it's spinal cord. He had used too much energy. Telekenisis, an adrelaline rush and a shehei was too much to handle. His rush wore off and his sword dissapeared and a headache came on. He was confused and shocked, as if he just met these beasts. But he kept fighting and aching.

OOC: I was so used to using the word confuzzled

Celia pulled the small toddler after her, grateful for the help the others had been.

She hoped they would not collapse from exhaustion. That would be bad.

She ran towards Serene, gasping as the attacks continued from behind. However, on the way, she ran into the cramped confines of the cave. She held out her hands to the frightened Triel, trying to get her to enter the cave. When Triel kept resisting, Celia grew frustrated and carried the girl in, instead. "Now, stay here."

She walked outside of the cave to Serene's side, looking on. She clutched her arm, still gasping. She smiled at Serene and kept watch.

(OOC: EDIT: My bad. I wasn't sure whether or not she had moved inside the cave, yet.)

OOC: eh...................Serene isn't in the cave, she's outside with Jonacin a bit away from the rest of the group........

Jonacin spun aside from another attack, and retaliated with a thrust of his sword. He was rewarded with a shrill howl as the werewolf was disembowelled. He was suddenly knocked forwards as another werewolf clawed at his back, thankfull ythe ebony armour withstood the blow. He spun around and whipped his sword across the beasts face, causing it to fall back with a near hman shriek of agony. He followe dthrough with a thrust to the heart, and turned to see if there were any more werewolves left

Sel killed the last of the werwolves that were attacking him and Mazuk.

"You have some skill with a sword." Sel commented to Mazuk before running back to the cave to make sure Celia was okay.

Mazuk says "Thank You" and follows Sel back to the cave. Hopeing to get his wounds looked at. Since he had used the last of his potions on the last fight he was in.

(OOC: Did we defeat the were wolves?)

Niran who was unwounded, just stood where he was. Looking around.

Celia noticed Sel running towards her. She waved and ran to him, a concerned look on her face. She inspected him closely for any wounds, cuts, or injuries. "Are you allright?"

Clangor had spent most of the fight up in the trees or on a rock trying his best to take one of the foul beasts down. He managed to wound some but could not kill any as they were to close to one of the group.

OOC: Urg, I wanted to be in that battle...

Osano left the bar area of the inn and went to his room. He climbed in his bed and blew out the candle. I wonder what Sel and Celia and Niran and all of them are doing right now. Meh, probably sleeping... he thought to himself as he drifted off to sleep.

Shakur watched as the last of the known of werewolves died. He walked back to the cave, and saw a werewolf hiding in the tree. He started to yell "Werewo-" but he chocked. The beast had salivated down into his mouth. He chocked and spat, but there was no hope. Once its in you, its in you. The beast jumped from tree to tree, and retreated knowing he would lose. Shakur walked back to the group. "For all of us that are infected, we have a gift wrapped in a curse wrapped in a riddle. We could keep our gift and use it to attack our enemies, but we would become uncontrolable, untamed and strange. We have three days to decide how our lives will go on. Choose wisely".

Niran, who was unaffected walked to the group.

Looking around, several of the people didn't look so well.

"What's the matter?"

"Lycanthropy. The first stage is sickness, then calmness, then being a werewolf. Plain as that".

OOC: night all, maybe itll be morning rp when morning rl...so i could do something...

Sel nodded. "Fine, just a few minor scratches, but for the infection."

He could feel the power inside him, wanting him to give in to it, it was so...tempting. But it was a 'power' he did not want.

He looked to Shakur. "I want to be rid of this..curse. And if nobody here can do it, I will get to Mournhold to find someone who can."

Jumping down from a rock, Clangor decided it was time to speak up. "If anyone here goes with this power, I will not hesitate to stop them with a arrow if they get out of control. You are warned." With that said, he walked over to the remainder of the camp fire as if nothing had happened.

Mazuk looking at everyone says "I don't want this thing in me, I will die by my own hands before it takes full affect".

"If no one can cure use here, then we much move to Mourenhold quickly"

Sopme of the group would notice Fenris seemed to be missing, and the sounds of battle coulds till be faintly heard in the distance. Further away, Fenris could be vaguely seen, doing combat with one Werewolf, heavily wounded. Closer up, his expressions and actions were clearer.

The Werewolf charged at him, and he weariling ducked to the side, mind bogglingly, his sword wasn't blooddy, and still at his side, nor was he using his voice, as if he didn't wish for harm to befall the Wolf. It turned, snarling and this time Fenris couldn't dodge, the beast bowled him over, fangs tearing into the forearm he had brought up to keep its jaws off his neck. His face wasn't his usuall feirce determination, it looked defeated, unwilling to fight. His other fist came up, striking the Werewolf across the face and knocking it on its' back. Fenris pinned it to the ground, drawing back for a half-hearted strike. He hesitated, his face darkening and looking distraught. "Anara..." he whispered, a look of recognition flared briefly i nthe Werewolff's eyes, before it used its superior strengtth to claw Fenris across the face.

The Tongue fell onto his back, and felt the Werewolf place its' foot/paw on his chest, a drawing back to strike. By the light of the moon, it was clearly visible. The Werewolf had grey fur, but the edges of it seemed to have a ghostly red, that seemed to be there and yet not. Also, one could tell it was a female Werewolf. Fenris just barely managed to stop the claw as it came down, but the Werewolf applied more pressure. He felt his muscle strain, bone beegin to break. No mortal man could match the strength of a Werewolf. Fenris was far from an exception. "Sis...please..." he pleaded.

OOC: Want some help there Aki? I wont kill it. Promise.

OOC: That is what I was thinking maybe knocking it out with the bottom of the sword.

OOC: I was thinking more of and arrow in the leg. Though a sword butt works.

OCC: Thats kind of the idea, in both respects. Fenris can't kill this one, both due to a ceertain mortal reason, and that fact that due to the first reason, hes not pretty painted up. Just try to knock it out, or at least try what Fenris was; keep it occupied till Morning (like happened in one book in Morrowind, which i guess, may have been Fenris's insperation for such a foolish plan. )

Mazuk hears faint sounds of fighting comeing from the distance and starts following the sound. The sound gets louder and louder as he approahes.

Seeing the beast on Fenris, Mazuk starts running at the beast hitting it in the head with the butt of his sword. Watching the beast hit the ground and then asking Fenris if he is ok.

OOC: Take it from there. Not sayin I knocked out..

OOC: Oh yeah just ignore me.

Clangor rushed though the area towards the sounds, and saw Mazuk standing over one of the group, (OOC: cant remember all the names.) with a were wolf lying nearby. He quickly went over and tyed it up. "Are you infected?" he asked the person.

OOC: didn't ignore you was typing it when he said what he said. Thus I already had the first part. So add on to it as you seen me walk off.. Yes I noticed and fixed it sorry.

P.S. There was a reason I said I didn't knock it out.

Fenris sighed. "Do i look okay?" he asked rhetorically, his armor was shredded in several places, and he was covered in his own blood, bleeding from multiple nasty wounds. Many of them claw marks, but quite a few were bites. It was the bites that worried Fenris, claws wouldn't infect unleash Werewolf saliva or blood had gotten on them, so unleash the Werewolves had drooled on their hands before attacking, he was pretty sure those wouldn't infect him. But the bites, those were far more serious.

"Make sure shes out," Fenris said, rising to his feet. the Werewolf began to stir. "Quickly." Looking to other Bosmer who had rushed up. He merely pointed to his wounds. "Look at these, and calculate the chances of me not being infected."

Clangor smiled at the man, he liked anyone who had a sence of humer in a time like this. "I would say negitive twelve. Would you like a potion to cure it? If you dont I wont hesitate to kill you if you get out of control." Clangor said pulling out a bottle and tossing it into the air only to catch it as it fell.

Mazuk says to Fenris and Clangor, we should be getting back to camp. Fenris needs to have them wounds looked at. Although Mazuk was standing the bleeding as well.
