I stumbled over an old drawing I did like 2 years ago and somehow thought "why not put that in here"? I'm really looking forward to find out if it'll be possible to create your own weapons/swords in TESIV, that would be great; that's the type of sword I would do then

you're right, there's also the question wether the sword is supposed to be handled with two or only one hand, at the moment the long handle makes it look as if the sword is not very long ... in case I ever find that old drawing again I think I'll fix that problem... or maybe I'll do a completely new drawing instead

Sure that sounds great i've also gotta clear up a few things (namely the next daedra) but i'm sure i can find some time to do it justice

thanks a lot, glad to hear you like it It's a very old drawing so the quality isn't really up-to-date anymore. Honestly, I can't really remember wether it was supposed to be a two-, or one-handed sword but at the moment it's rather looking like a very heavy one-handed one

I must say I wouldn't wield that thing. It looks ancient. :goodjob: Great drawing nevertheless.

that thing was drawn with pencils, at that time I didn't even have a Graphic Tablet

Ooooooh *lics lips like a loony* this is one mean swordie !! However, it's handle doesen't look too long to me, in fact it's thickness and the wideness of the blade itself makes me think that this looks more like a shortsword ? Wonderful, wonderful job, Ambberfox !
Anyway, you have reminded me of something I draw way back when I wanted to do some modding - this little meany was supposed to be enchanted shortsword of Sorkvild the Raven in MW, but then I found out that I don't know the first thing about modding (like, how to put a sword in right format and then, into the game :paperbag: ). However, since this sword is now freeware I am willing to give it up for adoption - for experiments and such (DW, *wink, wink* )

Very cool! Though it looks a little too flat (from this view, it looks like), no offense. Isn't it a little too thin, though? *is not a weapons-master* Looks very shatterable, in my humble opinion. *blushes*

I was tempted to make it a little thicker but i wanted to stay true to Amberfoxx's picture. Plus, i feel that this thin and serated blade looks a lot more lethal. Kind of like a stiletto blade.

Well, we dont really know what material its made out of. I doesn't think it looks thin, at least when I look at the shadows, and it doesn't look so much like a combat blade either, short and a bit 'destroyed'

At my first view, could more look like some evil cults sacrifice dagger or something

something that would also be great: the skull on the red gemstone (like on the sketch) of course you don't really have to put it there if you don't feel like doing that
