Aahh, good ol´ Wolfenstein. Still play the original demo on my old, beat-up Compaq, complete with Windows 3.11 and broken TabWorks
On this computer I also play Mortal Kombat 3, Red Baron and of course Chip´s Challenge!!

Wolfenstein really takes me back. When I got my job in 2000 I played it alot and therefore I always connect the game with that time which interestingly enough also involves a particular girl


Why does it always have to be a girl involved?

Like the time I came back to find an "I am returning this" engagement ring left on the keyboard of my Apple IIe?

(Yes- I am really that old). And to semi-stay on topic, I played the OLD Wolfenstein as well as Spy-Hunter on that Apple. I also still have it around here somewhere...

Do you still have Wolfenstein, treydog? The whole game I mean.

It was on an old 5.25 floppy and I think it got karked. A bad key press of some sort during loading IIRC.

But have you played the Wolf3D game?

Oh yes. I recall it fondly. One of the FEW games I ever actually played all the way through to the final boss.

I never played more than the first mission; the escape from the castle. Eight fun floors with a hard-boiled end boss with two miniguns. Fun times

They are based on House Telvanni ranks from Morrowind. Which you probably already knew. Alexander (HI Alex) is quite fond of Telvanni.

Actually, I didn´t know that. Never cared for politics in real life and I sure as hell don´t care for it in games

In my opinion the great houses in Morrowind are far more interesting than any real life political factions. Well modern day political factions at least.

That is the game that introduced me to computer games. I remember playing it on my friends computers, and the computer we had at work. Tons of fun!

Still. It´s politics!!

What´s fun about Wolf 3D is you don´t have to aim very well at all and you still hit them!

Just like the original Doom!

And Fallout 3. Aimbot FTW!
