Many of the references to places in the following stories have been created by me, so they do not exsist so far in any of the games. Many I did not create and I would like to give credit right now to those who created them.
Thanks. If you or someone else has already used these characters please tell me.

Halia

The following pages were recovered from My Journies of Tamriel written by an alchemist, Halia:

I was born in Kvatch, on the Imperial Province of Cyrodiil, my parents were of different races. My mother being a wood elf, and my father being an Imperial, their traditions tended to contradict each other.
A few years later, when I turned 4, Cyrodiil got involved in a dispute between High Rock and Skyrim, and both my mother and father were drafted. I was cared for by a servant of the house.
When news of the wars ending reached our town (I was now 15 and my childhood had long ended), there was a great celebration held with feasting and such, but for me there was no celebration. Neither my mother nor my father would be returning home alive.
So I was an orphan, though very close to reaching adult hood.

The time passed slowly, and I thought much about my deceased parents, I wondered about my childhood and how my life had ended up until now. I was one of the thousands who had become an orphan due to this war.
Finally the time had passed, and I was free, but what was I to do.Homeless and distraught I made my way out of my hometown of Kvatch. This would the first time I had ever left.

I made my way up a very poorly kept road, cluttered by large rocks and tree branches, hoping to come across some kind traveler who might take me with them, but no one passed, and the road started to feel dead. It was darkening and I was too far from Kvatch too return. By now the air had started to cool.

Searching around I found nothing to make a shelter of, until I looked at the trees, I piled leaves up and made a small and unfomfortable bed to sleep on. It wouldn't keep me safe, but it was better then sleeping on the bare ground.

The night was very silent except for the noises of the small bugs and insects, I observed the forest from my bed and saw it beautifully lit by the moonlight. The wind was low and made smaller plants close to me wave gently back and forth. Several were in reach to me, so reached my arm out to take one and before I knew it my arm was covered in a sticky goo, I pulled my arm back and it stuck to my hair causing me too panich. I struggled in the leaves for several minutes before calming down, this wouldn't help, I needed something sharp to cut my hair with.
I was unable to sleep in such a condition and stood up. I walked a few paces and stopped again, I thought I had heard rustling but it had turned out to be an owl, taking off from his perch to hunt.
As I walked deeper into the woods I could see a space where the trees parted, but was a far away and I would have to walk for some time to reach it.
Knowing that it was probably a camping place for traveling merchants (it appeared to be a pond) I kept on, hoping I would not cause a disturbance and that someone might be awake yet to help me.
When I reached the pond I saw to my dismay that there was nobody to help me.
I also noticed other things, like the animals sleeping around it. I at once felt calm, knowing that these animals were not carnivores (I recognized their type). I lay down and before I knew it I had fallen asleep.

The next morning I awoke early to the suns rising. It reflected on the water and made a beautiful glimmer. I smiled but I stil had the problem with the goo stuck to my hair. Durning the night some of it seemed to have dripped off and made a small sticky puddle on the ground.

Many of the animals were grazing on the nicely green grass that made its way around the pond. I went over to the waters and was about to take a drink-

"I wouldn't do that if I were you."

Startled I turned around to see a very old man step out of the shadows of the trees. He was dressed in a robe that fell to his feet and dragged somewhat on the ground.

"The animals will get angry," he said "that water belongs to them."

"May I inquire as to who you are?" I asked politely, hoping I did not sound too rude.

"Me, well I dont know, I'm named a word that is nearly impossible to pronounce." he took a breath and said "Follow me, I have something for you."

I obeyed and he led me into the forest again, but on the opposite side, and we turned many times till I was very confused. Suddenly we came upon a little tent, outside there was a pot on the fire. He made me sit beside it and before I knew it he had dipped one hand into the pot and poured the hot contents on my hair.
But they weren't hot, no, infact they were freezing and I shivered when it first touched my skin. But then I noticed something else, the remaining goo had fallen off my hair as if it were a solid object, and it fell with a thunk to the ground. The old main took a stick and shoved it into a jar while muttering about how it would be good for some potion.
All the while I was silent until he looked at me and said "Best be on your way, or you wont reach the end of the forest by nightfall."
"I have no objective," I told him "it does not matter to me where I am at what time. But I thank you and I will take your advice and leave here. If I ever return to this area I will be sure to come here and meet you agiain."

And with that I got up and left hoping to reach the end of the forest by nightfall.

I noticed for the first time a calmness in the forest and I went on my way untroubled, and before long I noticed the end of the forest.
When I came upon the road once more, I noticed the suns intensity, it was setting and I would need a place to sleep.

---End of 1st Entry

Upon the setting of the sun I noticed a small cart pulled by a horse coming my way, it was old and the wooden wheels were in poor condition. A woman

heavily clad in armor was sitting at the front steering it along (mainly with her whip). She seemed to ignore me as she came down the road, and I got

annoyed when she passed without saying anything. I had forgotten to ask the old man for food, meaning I hadnt eaten anything in nearly 2 days.
I shouted out to her, and the cart came to a halt. She jumped off the side of the wagon gracefully instead of climbing down. How she managed it with the

armor she was wearing puzzles me yet today, the only solution would have been a special acrobatics potion of some powerful sort.
She came to me and asked me who I was, when I told her she then motioned for me to follow her, but I told her that I was not going the same way as she,

she said it was okay, and that she was camping here for the night.
"You look famished, may I offer you my assistance? Please, name your request."
She showed me much kindness when I told her my predicament, she told me her name was Isalin, and told me to wait a few minutes while she set up camp. I

watched and offered my help on several occasions but she refused, as I was to her a guest. Finally the tent had been set up and the horse had been released

from the cart to graze.
I sat outside the tent with her as we talked, I told her of my life from as far back as I could remember. She then, in turn, told me about herself. She

had been raised in a small family, like me. She had very little schooling because her family could not afford it, but she didn't tell me much about herself

after her childhood. She answered nearly every question except my last.

"What do you do for a living?" it appeared to me that she might be a knight, for her armor was expensive, and rarely could one person afford it. As a

knight, her government might have funded her.
She kept silent for too long, and I begin to feel uncomfortable. So I decided change the topic.

"Do you travel often, I mean, do you have a permanent residence of some sort?"

"No, I prefer to travel, there are many places I have yet to visit. Here in Cyrodiil I mean."

"So, could you tell me little bit about your tavels."

"I'm afraid not, thought they would be interesting."

Silence for a minute and then.

"Ask many questions if you wish, but some I may not answer."

So we sat and talked for nearly and hour, while I munched some bread like food she had offered me, it was delicious with what appeared to be a blend of

wild berries and such.
With my stomach settled and my eyes drooping I slept.
In the morning I was awoken by Isalin preparing to leave. I got up to thank her.

"If there is any way for me to repay you for your-" I was cut off by a wave of her hand.

"Do not worry, I enjoy helping those in need. May we meet again sometime, goodbye." She was off, making her way around the forest instead of straight

through it.

My next task was too find a town, the nearest being to the north. It was the town of Sutch.

The experience I had in the forest would be nothing compared to the days that were to follow.

---End of 2nd Entry

The daylight gave me a warm feeling as I walked by myself down the cluttered road, with small animals running around on the side. Smiling, I kept my head

high and looked into the distance, the road was long and I could see far, though the sunlight impaired my vision a little.

Like my first time on the road, it was silent, but a much happier silence. For my troubles were in the back of my mind now and I was set on the task

ahead, which was finding a safe place, hopefully the town of Sutch, where I could eat and sleep.

To occupy my time I sang to myself, many songs had been to me by my caretaker. They were mostly songs about the wildlife, but some were of sorrowful

events. Before long the road became clean and well kept, and I could tell that it was used often.

Now I came to a branch in the road, and would have to make my decision. I choose to continue on north.

When I becam tired a sat and rested under the shade of a tree, and looked out at the road in front of me. I fell into a sleep, not to awake for some time.

However, there are a few things I must note to you about my dreams I had now. One went the following (as far as I can remember)

A man, in his early thirties was giving the order to charge, against what. Why, against soldiers of Skyrim. As he did so, an arrow pierced his shirt and he

let out a shout, falling to the ground. Suddenlly a slightly younger woman came to his aid and lifted his head. Saying his name several times, when she

realized he had passed she put her head down and cried. Then it ended.

I awoke and the sun had grown only brighter. At first I was confused about my surroundings, then I remembered the events that had gone on and I picked up

the pace on the road again. Thirsty, I looked to both sides but found nothing to drink. My spirit started to drop, and I realized how I would have to live for a while. I would have to scavenge. Luckily animals were still busy about their tasks, but I had no weapon with which I could kill one. '

I would have to use my hands, unless . . . I picked up a stone, spotted an animal, and threw it as hard as I could.

Well, it certainly tasted strange, I can tell you that. Sour, very sour, yet filling. I didnt eat all of it, so I roasted the rest and put it in my pouch that I carry.

By this time it was going to be dark again, though the grass on the road was soft enough to sleep on this time around, so I lay down.

Gamer10: I know its short and the events go by fast, but think of it as a diary

If you read till here thanks for your time.

For anyone that is curious

THE HALIAI were the lovely NYMPHAI of the Sea.

They were depicted as beautiful maidens, often riding on the backs of Hippokampoi (Fish-tailed horses), Ketoi (Sea-monsters) or dolphins.
My characters name is Halia though, dont know why I changed it but I didnt really feel like keeping it exactly the same.

not bad at all. very few grammer errors. you need to get into a little more detail on the way people look, the way their expressions are, what they are wearing etc.

I awoke to the sound of birds and other animals plaiyng about. It was beautiful and for a while my mind wandered and I thought about it, how lucky I was to have such good luck. But, what got me back on track was my hunger. I had slept a while, maybe 16 hours, and it was midday. I would need to eat soon if I was to have enough energy to finish the rest of my trip. Standing up, I stretched and yawned, and noticed my legs were weak. I almost stumpled over when I tried to take a step, but I straightened up and walked forward confidently.
The road ran on for a while and before I knew it, horse drawn carts cluttered it. I was now forced to walk on the side. But I didn't mind, at least now I wasnt alone.
A cart came to a stop along side where I was walking and I turned and looked at the occupent.
But as I turned to look, the cart sped away as fast as the horse could go.
Thinking this to very strange (as well as rude) I continued but tried to walk farther away from the road, no longer enjoying the company of other travelers.
Finally, in the distance, buildings began to appeared
see several growing larger as I became closer.
Now I could see several buildings very clearly, and I started to notice little details on the buildings.
As I reached the small section of road before the town, I could see it was well kept, because of the heavier traffic.
When I reached the entrance into the town, I felt relief take me.
