My usual creative web searches have not revealed the answer. Does anyone know if silver weapons are affected by a Resist Normal Weapons enchantment or ability? I know that they can be used against the undead, but I can’t figure out if that makes them special but still normal, or universally not normal, like an enchanted weapon.

I do not believe silver weapons are affected by 'resist normal weapons.'

My impression is that silver weapons will ignore a resist normal weapons spell or enchantment, just as Daedric will. For Oblivion at least.

I double checked in the construction set, and there is a checkbox for Ignores Normal Weapon Resistance for each weapon. Silver and Daedric have that checked, all the others do not. So I think that is what you are looking for.
