Alright so let's start planning, I think Zaeed will be sitting at an inn drink when he sees the letter, shortly after reading it zombies attack.

I don't think we can have it just as "Oh mah gawd suddenleh zombees".
I mean, this is the Imperial City, the seat of power, home to the mages guild, the Imperial Legions and countless adventurers and such entering the city. Instead i think we should use this as a chance for the characters to properly meet up, have some tension. (Maybe we can encounter some bandits or stuff, desperate people in the city looking to loot) to create some cohension and sense of a group, and then all agree to move out towards the boats.
Perhaps some form of non-zombie disturbance, a bar brawl or something, so characters can display their skills. I know Daralius would take the oppurtunity to pick some pockets at least, and then the group can bond after that, recognising prowess and usefulness and such.

Say what, if more agree I'll edit my first post, removing the zombies for it, I jsut think it would be a bit easier for the characters to realize the truth if zombies attacked, seeing as this isn't my RP I won't force anyone to agree with me
(my awesome mind powers are not yet awesome enough for that)

Aye fair enough, I was just throwing out an alternative situation. However when you do develop those powers could you write a "How-to" guide? I'd like to have a way to make my lecturers stay on topic.

When my powers advance to that level I shall write a book on the subject, making a lot of money in the process...that would be after developing a countermeasure wich would strangely enoug be omitted from the aforementioned book

Anywho the playground is started so anyone can start posting, unless Uren has something against it tough.

Thanks Uren, my powers must be working.
Anywho the playground has started. Ahrenil to answer your above point about the Imperial City, we must remember this is a disease that has spread through Cyrodiil, no one and nowhere is truly safe as infected people may nut torn straight away, what we do know is that when they turn it is suddenly...followed up by a bestial attack of course, so gents and ladies start posting.

Schoolwork has not been forgiving lately, on the contrary, it has been almost like a sadist. Essays atop essays, math problems, scientific theories, historical assasinations, painting a pitiful excuse for an 'art'.... I hope I'm not the only one having trouble on junior high or highschool or uni or whatever?
Anyway, I'm back. Properly, this time.
My character should be with you guys at the inn. Probably scheming your death.. No, that's a joke. Or is it?

OK, the first 'Forbidden' Knowledge that shall be known..
The zombies are weak in the day, but gets stronger when night approaches. There are various types of undead in this RP, but they shall be revealed when the RP progresses further (of if a certain number of votes has been raised, I shall tell all)
The Main one is the Grunt. Just like any other zombie.
The Second one is the Ghoul. They're on their way to become grunts. They're humans, elves and khajiits stricken by the Mysterious plague. To tell ghouls apart from the normal citizen, one should look into their eyes. If one sees a mandarin hue circling the iris, then that's a Ghoul.
The Second Forbidden Knowledge that shall be known is about a tiny part of this Mysterious Plague. Races who are resistant to disease can contract this Plague. That's all.
All shall be revealed in time. Heh.

Hmm, I went with the 'so rotten they fall apart when you look at them funny' assumption. So do zombies become weaker as they age due to decomposition, or are we just gonna say it was the middle of the day?
Also, we don't know yet if the imperial city has been completely overrun. Hell, up to now everyone was drinking and stuff which is not something you do in a city infested by the undead. I'd be expecting martial law, mass proclamations, evacuation organised by the legions etc. Maybe the inn is situated near the graveyard and we just encountered the first wave?

Middle of the day.
--
On the Imperial City being overrun, well technically it IS. On the day it can be compared to ruin filled with scavengers or lootaz. But on the night its a skeleton. Zombie roams freely. (How did the zombies overrun the IC itself, you ask? Well, with half the population buying the 'cure', they just signed their and IC's death warrant.)
On the subject of the Inn being near the graveyard... Sure why not? That makes perfect sense.

I got my eye on Kaye or even Kheyfer (I plan for him to be in Anvil, if Jack disagrees Kheyfer would be in there to meditate the situation)

I'm slightly at a loss of what to do right now. Vernon was last seen carrying a table upstairs with Kaye and since the table hasn't been put down yet, I assume he is still helping carry it. Cyldreen and Dalarius are also upstairs, as is Rianne who hasn't been able to get involved yet.
This leaves no PC to help Zaeed reinforce the barricade. So Tellie, I think it would be best to edit the part with Vernon out. Instead, how about Zaeed realizes the barricade has outlived its usefulness and go upstairs as well? Granted, the upper floor is getting rather crowded (can it even support the weight of that many people?), but we could make a new barricade at the top of the stairs. There should be a few beds, nightstands and some more chairs in the rentable rooms after all.
And Cyldreen is getting rather mouthy again. I'd have Kaye reply to it but I think it's high time I let Vernon or Dalarius get in their move.

I have an idea for the origin of the zombies. Perhaps this disease is magical in origin, created by accident by someone of tremendous power (Divayth Fyr or the Champion of Cyrodiil or perhaps a Telvanni Lord).

Don't worry your head about it, Zalphon. The plot's is correctly planned in my mind and I shall reveal things once we're making progress or reached a certain point. Instead, why don't you plan 'bout your character's appearance? Thanks for the suggestion, anywho.
