Can someone help me get my custom avatar image? I think ive been doing the wrong thing, Ive been putting in the url for an image on google images and it keeps saying its not a valid url. can someone please tell me what im doing wrong and the proper way to get my avatar!

I had the same problem. There is a character limit for the URL. Two suggestions -

1) Open an account at PhotoBucket or ImageShack, or similar site. It's free. You can upload photos to your account and share photos from there.

2) When you download a photo from Google Images to your computer, before uploading it to the photo sharing site, rename it with a very short name.

This is what I did and it worked fine.

Yup, except I'd recommend not to use photobucket because it's not as good as others (IMO), unless you already have an account.

It's a good idea to resize the image to 90x90 before uploading to your image host too. If you use imgur.com it will do this for you if you ask it (and there's no need to register).

If you have a Myspace page, the Avatar from there will transfer perfectly to here.

There's a game out there called Dance Dance Revolution. That's where the arrows come from.
