The breeze outside the bar was cold, quiet and slightly melancholic. The city of cheydinhal was always like this, but the Cheydinhal Bridge Inn was not.

"Hey Lumpy, you gots any septim?" said a male dunmer with a pony-tail hair. Like any dunmer, this dunmer got fiery eyes, with his skin ashen gray. A leather cuirass on his torso, he had a rust dagger for protection. The rest of his attire was commoner clothes.

"What?! Lum-eep thought you were goin' to bring Emperor's coin, Damaren?" replied a rather stout argonian with an accusing tone. Unusuall for his race, this Betmer has a red skintone with brownish hue to it. Like his elven counterpart, Lumpy wore a leather cuirass over his clothes.

Damaren quickly stood up, rather annoyed that his argonian friend didnt bring any money, yelled;

"First of all it's called septims, and second with no money, that bouncer over there will have our asses thrown if we dont have any money to pay our bar tab-"

Suddenly he was lifted in the air by very muscular orc. The Orsimer wore a brown shirt, coupled with a plaid red pants. He wore leather boots, with an Iron mace strapped on to his waist.

"No money to pay your bar tabs again, Damy?" the orc's words were dripping with sarcasm, while malice shone on his eyes.

"Ummnn...n-no, m-me an-and my friend here are just discussing our mercenaries bar tabs, right Lumpy?" Damaren winked at Lupmy, while stummering in front of the orc.

"Mercernaries? I don't recall having a bunch of mercenaries 're." the orc wondered out loud, while scratching his chin in thought.

"Ummm, actually this isnt the place our allies visited." the dunmer answered. Damaren was known in Cheydinhal to be a fast-talker. In his youth, he fast-talked a guard to let him go because the guard caught him stealing.

He even fast-talked a merchant to giving him free wares, to the point that Damaren came back in his home with two sacks of armor and supplies. Until then, he was titled 'The Silver-Tongued Devil' by the citizens of Cheydinhal.

"Well if that's the case, can I join?" asked the orc. "This job is just boring every second. I've known you two with all my time here in Cheydinhal, and I know you will accept."

The duo just stared at him blankly, with Lumpy scratching his head in confusion.

"Well, to tell you the truth the men who had the bar tabs, were arrested for assault and disorderly conduct, so... Yeah, you can join Lugrub." the dunmer smiled an awkward smile.

"A band mercenaries, eh? This will be interesting, I guess Damaren has a good plan after all. Except for that day when we pretended we were jesters fo the Count of Skingrad only having us running for our lives when we discovered tha-"....

"Lumpy, prepare our supplies from our house, we are leaving for the Imperial City in one hour. Also buy us some weapons, here's the money."Damaren suddenly ordered. Lumpy irritated, replied with;

"By buying you mean stealing right?"

The Next Evening

--*--

"Ugh, finally the Roxey Inn. Let's stay here for night, men" Damaren said tiredly. Inside, the trio saw a female Nord chatting with an Imperial dressed in a full suit of Chainmail armor. As the trio headed for the Propietor of the establishment, the entrance of the Inn flew, and a dozen of Bandits entered.

"By the nine! Bandits! Run for your lives!" yelled a panicking Damaren. As the bandits spread out, five of them charged at the trio. Lumpy the argonian picked up a chair and throwed it at the nearest bandit, and while he was thrown backwards, his axe flew to the direction of Lumpy.

The argonian swiftly picked it up in mid-air and started swinging wildly at the bandit. Damaren, however, hid behind a table, shaking with fear. But when two of the bandits confronted him he became wild, picking up a bowl he smashed it on the bandit's face, but the other charged, mace swinging.

Damaren evaded a skull-crushing blow, but he knew that he would not last long. He searched for a weapon, anything that he could use to stall his opponent.

As the bandit grabbed him, a blade came out of his head.

"You gotta be more careful, mate." as the body fell limp Damaren saw the Imperial dressed in chainmail.

"Im Adellus" the Imperial smiled. The bandit who just got his face smashed alerted the other outlaws making it ten against four. The female nord hid below the counter crying in fear.

"Raagghh!" Lugrub roared as he threw a chair at the bandits direction. One of the bandits got impaled and screamed with agony. After that, the muscular orc picked up a table and swinged like a madman at the outlaws.

Lumpy also joined the fight and chopped at a Breton bandit, decapitating him on the process.

"Such ferocity, Argonian." remarked Adellus as he stabbed a Bosmer bandit. Lugrub broke the table he was wielding and grabbed a large broom. The bandits laughed, but those who got near Lugrub had their necks broken. This continued for a while.

After a short battle, the remaining bandits ran and said something about an ayleid ruin not far from the Inn.

"And don't you forget it!"roared Damaren arrogantly. Lugrub just shrugged and bent down to loot a bandit clad in Steel armor.

"Loot them and let's throw them outside, friends." Lumpy's voice was evidently tired.

As they looted the dead bandits, the Imperial sighed;

"Good ridance, I thought there will more of them. You handled yourself pretty impresive at the fight, lad. Let me guess..mercenaries?"

"Yep. We are the..the..Blue-O mercenaries, we are currently heading for the Imperial city, to recruit some more men, you wanna join the famous group of them all?" obviously this was a lie. The Blue-Orange mercenaries were just formed by a trio of no-good outcasts.

"Well, I'm currently longing for an adventure so, count me in." Adellus smiled proudly as if he winned a beautiful woman to marry. After minute or two of chatting,

Damaren fast-talked the owner of the inn for free use of the beds.

The owner thanked them for defending her Inn and asked if the group can help her get rid of a base of bandits they encountered.

"If we rested on top of free beds then consider it done, you ug- I mean beautiful nord." after the chit-chat the group headed upstairs and slept for the night.

oh please, this text need some paragraphing, it will make it far more easy to read! I'm sure it's a good story...
Illydoor
Yes, I was going to say that too. Just makes it easier for us to read when it's segmented into paras smile.gif.
Colonel Mustard
I'm gonna have to third the paragraph vote; otherwise it's just a massive block of text and that's pretty damn off-putting.
ureniashtram
yeah..sorry 'bout dat, aint getting used to write in english but I'm trying. Got alot on me mind about DCW(u know wat i mean wink.gif )anywhoo heres the second part.

Chapter 1 The Elemental Bloodline:

---*----

Damaren slowly opened his eyes to see a grassland surrounded with mountains and oceans. As he walked, he noticed a dunmer man holding a baby humming a tune familiar to Damaren.

As he slowly walked towards the old man, he noticed a several golden-armored figures running towards the old man. As the old man looked towards the direction of the figures, all he saw was a spear directed at his head.

The old man evaded the spear and hid the baby inside a rock. Damaren was suprised at what he saw, not only that the old man have evade several blows, he countered them with deadly reflexes. As one of the figures charged, the old man also charged and did the unbelievable.

The old man jumped superhuman heights and landed on the fellow with an enormous thud. After that, two more charged and swinged their swords with ritual-like stances. The old man however didn't even flinch, and after evading several skull-crushing and head-seperating blows, he punched and kicked the two figures, sending them flying like ragdolls.

"Now, I'm gonna teach you how an Ashtram really fights!" as he said this, the clouds became dark, like a storm just arrived, the wind also raged as if the earth itself is raging. After saying some unknown incantations, the clouds whirled and strucked a very powerful energy upon the old man.For a while they thought that the old man just commited suicide, but they were wrong.

"Feel free to see the sights, cause it may be your last!" roared an unknown voice while thunder and lightning erupted. The tallest of the figures, who Damaren presumed to be the leader, yelled.

"Insulting the Goddess was your final mistake!and its only fitting that your bloodline ends. Give me the boy, and we can end this foolishness." after the leader said this, the maelstrom of pure energy only raged far more.

The air was freezing, the clouds were blocking the sun, and suddenly a ball of green color strucked one of the figures and paralyzed him.

"Is that all you can do Jureni?!I thought you were an Elem-" while the leader were mocking a man called Jureni, the paralyzed man became a giant humanoid tree and crushed a group of reinforcements.

The large tree bacame another creature with tentacles and huge eye.

"You were right about one thing Grandcaptain, a bloodline will end. But not mine...it's gonna be...YOURS!!"as the man called Jureni said this, Damaren saw a humanoid figure descending and was shocked. The old man and Jureni was the same person.

I think that's all for now, hope you enjoyed it. smile.gif

I might be alone but the dashes don't work in my web browser (firefox 3.0) on my screen. Instead they just make a mess of the formating and don't put in paragraphing. Looking at the source html of the page it seems you're using dashes (---------) to make a new line. Don't, use enter instead as this will work on all computers regardless of screensize and setup.

I will read it if you sort it but justnow its appearing all over the place (as do the rest of you're posts, for me at least).

yeah..srry bout dat, aint getting used to write in english but im trying.got alot on me mind about DCW(u know wat i mean wink.gif )anywhoo heres the second part.

Not trying to be super critical here, but perhaps you should start by trying to write in proper English. "srry bout dat,aint"... please. People are here because they like to read. I'm sure you had some good ideas for this story, but I only made it as far as the fourth paragraph before I gave up. Good luck in the future! smile.gif

I am very, very sorry about that every one, sad.gif Anyway, heres the second chapter. (this is also a short one. if you dont mind.smile.gif)

Chapter 2:The Disturbing Discovery

After seeing the confrontation, Damaren suddenly woke up.

"Aagh..l-Lumpy?you there sparkles?" said Damaren while rubbing off the sleepiness of his crimson eyes, while doing so however, he heard some noises. He then descended to the stairs to see Lumpy, Adellus and Lugrub wearing some armor and sheating some weapons they looted from the bandits they confronted yesterday.

"Your awake, Damy. 'bout time ye woke up, we`re just preparing ourselves to clear the bandits lair." said Lugrub while strapping two small war-axes to his waist. Damaren also noticed Lumpy strapping a bow and a quiver of steel arrows to his back.

"Good. Without you, we got no-one to cover our backs when the fight starts. Here, take this crossbow and some bolts, you and Lumpy here will be covering me and Lugrub while we engage the enemy head-on."

Adellus wisely informed Damaren, while handing out a steel crossbow and some bolts, also made of steel.

"We're expecting a brutal battle. So I made some potions, here." Lumpy scavenged through a large bag, and pulled out several poultices and handed each of it to each of them.

"Alright, let's march off to war." as Damaren said this, the others looked at him with frenzied grin. After preparing their gear, the group chatted for a while about the bandits, that the survivors who fled have warned the other bandits, and expecting them. After talking, the group headed for the ruin, with a killing rage burning inside each one of them.

While walking, Damaren thought what the dream meant. Why was the old stranger humming the tune Damaren heard from his step-father. While thinking about this, the group saw a dozen of bandits running and yelling at their direction.

"Looks like their really angry at us killing their boys." smirked Adellus while unsheating his longsword.

The others copied him and readied theirselves for the approaching battle.

While charging towards them, yelling some battlecries, Lumpy unleashed a barrage of steel arrows upon the incoming bandits. Damaren also fired a couple of bolts, only to hit one bandit on his head. While they were outnumbered, the bandits rank was falling thin. Adellus killed at least three of the bandits, only to have five more charging towards him. Lugrub also killed some of the bandits, only to have more coming at him.

Amidst the chaos, Damaren felt an unknown feeling of energy gather around him. He also heard an unknown voice saying:

"Give.. in.. to.. your... RAGE!"

as he heard this, he saw his body glowing with blue aura surrounding the unknown force of energy that engulfed his body. As he closed his eyes, he heard an explosion followed by some ear-numbing screams. As he opened his now glowing eyes, another explosion erupted, but this time it was different. He saw the wounds of his friends slowly healing up, and the wounds of his enemies getting worst. He finally realised it...he was the son of Jureni Ashtram. Elemental God of Mayhem and Storms.

Hope you liked it.

Considering English isn't your first language, your vocabulary ain't that bad. Here's just some simple tip to make you stories look more appealing smile.gif:

Whenever you use punctuation such as commas, fullstops, exclamation points and question marks, it's common practice to put a space in front of them. for example 'bob was hungy, so he went for food.'

Also, try to refrain from using slang. When telling a story, you're writing should be formal, not as if you're addressing your mates.

ureniashtram
Thank you for the advice, Ilydoor, I appreciate it.Anyway, heres the third part.its gonna be the story of Jureni and the mysterious Goddess. The action happened after Jureni defeated the golden armored figures, incase you have been wondering. This also short, because part 2 is gonna be long.

Chapter 3:Of Storms And Void part 1

The man who would be destined as the Elemental God of Storms was a dunmer named Jureni Ashtram, a man who is part of the Ashtram Family,a family who is made up with very powerful beings. Before the rise of the Hortator and his Tribunal, most of the chimer shunned themselves to live in different place called Ashindusk, a land far east of the Star-Wounded East(Morrowind) near the Akaviri borders. Due to the hostile nature of the land, and the attacks of the snow demons, the chimer who shunned themselves called upon Azura to help them.

Azura took pity upon the descendants of Veloth, and promises that a demi-god, with enormous power will defend them. After several years of quiet living the chimer was changed, and became the dunmer. Realising that the Daedra betrayed them, the shamans of the self-shunned dunmer prohibited the worship of the Daedric ancestors.

Instead they worshipped the snow demons queen, the Goddess. However, most of the dunmer still believed that the demi-god will come, resulting a civil war among the blood brothers. The Goddess did nothing to stop the bloodshed, instead she encourages the civil war and planning to use the dunmer as her pawn to conquer the Hundred-Monkey-Islands. This was all changed, however, as the demi-god did come. The demi-god defeated the armies of the snow demons, and planned to defeat the Goddess to stop the never-ending bloodshed.

"You dare enter the Halls of the Void, Son of Storms? by doing so, You will know eternal torment!"said the Goddess. The Goddess was tall, presumed to atleast 9ft.tall, and her voice was like that of multiple voices crying. Jureni only retorted with multiple balls of lightning directed at the Goddess`head. The Goddess only laughed, with a waved of her hands, the balls of lightning were reflected to the direction of Jureni.

The demi-god jumped superhuman heights, and unleashed a barrage of storms, creating whirlwinds, and causing the clouds to be dark so the Goddess can not see him. This proved to be a fatal mistake to Jureni, because the Goddess also jumped superhuman heights, only this time, the Goddess flew, not jumped. Jureni smiled an evil grin and the real battle took place.

I think thats all for now, sorry if you think this is short, but part 2 is long!
ureniashtram
Hmmnn...heres part 2.Hope you guys liked it.Also, sorry for the long delay. sad.gif

(continued)Of Storms and Void: part 2A

"Hahaha, your weaker than I expected, demi-god! Now, taste the power of the Void!" yelled the Goddess, while gesturing some other-wordly hand signs. While the Goddess is doing this, Jureni felt an unknown energy gather around His enemy. Jureni even heard some unknown incantations yelled by the Goddess like

"Sa pangalan ni Sithis, bigyan ninyo ako ng kapangyarihan na durugin itong Ashkin!"

After the Goddess said this, her size became even more bigger, to the point that Jureni was like an ant compared to the Goddess.

"You do know that I'm an Elemental, right? I can also turn Myself to be a Giant!"

yelled Jureni to his immortal enemy. To the Goddess suprise, Jureni also became bigger and also stronger.

"This is gonna be even for a fist-fight."roared Jureni, with his voice dominating the Forbidden Halls Of The Void. Jureni threw his mighty fist, with enough force to shatter the Valus mountains into little pieces, to the unholy face of the Goddess. The Goddess ducked, and counterattacked with a bone-shattering kick directed to Jureni`s torso. The kick connected, and sent Jureni staggering backwards, after that the Goddess sent a wave of destructive energy upon the Elemental God, that sent him flying.

"Such is the Power of the Void.Do you not realise that nothing can defeat The Voids power? Join me, and I will further increase your...potential!"said the Goddess with a different voice that sounds like Jureni`s wife to the downed demi-god.

"You will pay for your mockery, n`wah, this time, You will see how an Ashtram unleash his full power!"said Jureni with the maelstrom of pure energy surrounding him became more unstable.

******meanwhile at the current day cyrodiil***

"I never knew you had magickal powers, Damaren." said Lumpy, while starring at the bodies of the dead bandits. While the group stared at each other, another group of bandits appeared and are running towards their direction. Damaren thought to himself a second

...this is gonna be easy, now that I have some unnatural powers...

With that he chuckled to himself a bit, and began focusing on how to unleash a force enough to push the bandits back hard. While he strecthed his hand at the direction of the bandits, a glow of blue energy exploded and was thrown at the rushing outlaws.

What followed that was unbelievable.

Some of bandits was missing a limb, feet, or their head. While some of them survived, most was either cut downed or had an arrow sticking to their heads.

"Again, that was brutal plain-and-simple.Your quite the frenzied mage, aren't ya. Where did you learned that?" joked Adellus, while pulling his longsword from a bandit's head. Damaren only replied with

"Believe me, I have no idea."

After a minute of walking, the group finally entered the ayeleid ruin .Lugrub entered first, followed by Lumpy and the others.

"Be cautious, there maybe a tr-" Lugrub was interrupted when four bandits appeared and tried to attack them with bows and swords. Lugrub swung his axe in a swift but strong motion, that decapitated the nearest unfortunate bandit. Lumpy evaded some blows and was saved by Adellus when the bandit tried to grapple the argonian. Damaren clenched his fist, and the two bow man was crushed as if a large boulder landed on them.

"I think Im getting the hang of this Elemental stuff."

chuckled Damaren as he continued to proceed deeper into the ruin. As he walked however, he saw three dozens of bandits prepared to kill them.

"Perhaps the life of that old man is filled with violence.Oh, well Im gonna try if my physical attributes are enhanced."

smiled Damaren as he rushed at the direction of the bandits. As he slammed through the shield of the bandits, a lightning bomb-like energy erupted, that sent some of the bandits flying like ragdolls. He threw a powerful punch at a Khajiit, with so force that the very ruin started to shake. His abillity to evade attacks was also enhanced, that he can evade eight blows a second. Adellus and the others was shocked at what they saw, bodies are strewn everywhere and the floor of the ruin is paved with blood.

"I wonder if He`s Pelinal Whitestrake reborn or something." said Lumpy with his expression of pure suprise.

well thats Part2A guys. but dont fret, Part2B and Part2C are currently being written. Hoped you liked it. smile.gif

Well, heres an Interlude. I hope you readers like Blue-O mercs, `cause this is just the beggining! Storm meets Earth.

(Interlude)Stone and Storms
**Ayeleid ruin of Sercen**

Damaren swiftly grabbed a steel spear from one of bandits and the spear started to flicker with lightning. As he throwed the spear at the direction of a tall nord, the spear suddenly turned into stone and crumbled to dust. Damaren then rushed at the direction of the mysterious nord, and tried to kick him. The nord evaded it and with his mysterious power, his fist turned into a large boulder and tried to smash Damaren with it like nothing. Damaren, suprised, tried to grapple the Nord only to feel that he weighted almost a hundred tons.

Nonetheless, Damaren lifted him and throwed him with both of his hands, but the nord anticipated it, slapped Damaren in the face, that sent the dunmer flying. The nord then ran towards the flying Damaren and grabbed him by the throat and throwed him like he was a piece of crumbled paper. Damaren hitted the wall so hard, that the very ruin started to shake. Adellus and the others tried to attack the nord, but when their weapon touched the man, it crumbled to dust like sand. This proved to be annoying for the nord, and when he tried to smash the trio into pieces, Damaren suddenly unleashed a combination of punches and kicks at the nord, that sent the nord into a defensive position. As Damaren continued to punch and kick him, the nord suddenly said,

"Enough of this nonsense! I know who you are and your father is." Damaren suddenly stopped tried to listen to what the tall nord said.
"Why do you know me?"asked Damaren.
"
I know alot of things, young one. I know that you came here to get rid of the bandits, I also know that you had a dream of Jureni when you were sleeping."said the nord with a tone of misery and wisdom in it.

"W-who are you, and why do you know my father?" asked Damaren fearfully.
"
I`m Asfrid Stone-Beard, Elemental God of Stone and Earth."

After a very long time of thinking, I finally decided to continue my works here. So, please Read and Reply. Well, atleast put your comments and crits here, people. biggrin.gif

Intermission: Getting Information At The Unlikely Person

"I`m in a lost of words, my stocky old friend. There are other Elementals? `Tis getting good to ashtonishing nowadays." Said Damaren while drinking a beer of some kind brewed by the God of Stone. It tasted of strawberry and butter, that did`nt bode well for Lugrub. Over the next few days the poor orc got stomach ache problems. As Damaren finished his drink, he asked Asfrid at how to find the other Elementals.

"`Tis simple. You dont" Asfrid simply said while chugging on a bottle of his product.

"Wha-. Are you serious? Come on, I mean how shocking it is to form a group of mercenaries with it`s members have super-ashtonishing-awe struck-monstrosity-powers?!" he excitedly said. Damaren apparently couldnt handle the beer that Asfrid created. It`s as if you drink one bottle, you`re drunk like you drank twenty-five bottles of Tamika`s wine.

"I`m sorry, but you have to give up on your dreams on forming a group of neutral people who`d do anything for a bag of gold." Asfrid said with a tone of wisdom in it. But this only maked Damaren more annoying for the Stone Elemental.

"Hey, how do you know? And why cant we find those other Elementals?" Damaren asked curiously while eyeing the nord with big, wide eyes.

"First, Jureni said the same thing about starting our own organization. Second, the other Elementals left for their own way, after Jureni supposedly killed that Goddess. Of course Her powers are directly from the Void, so she cant possibly die. Jureni knew this before he got killed by her incarnate. But right now, Azura only wants me to teach you how to control your powers so we can go to the ruins of Ashindusk." Damaren could not believe at what he heard...Azura wants him to teach me? `Tis getting wierder every second...murmured Damaren to himself.

Sorry for being short, but the next part as always, will be long.

Well, I knew it will happen someday. I decided to say this in Blue-O mercs, because it's one of my most viewed story so far..

I got some news, news that will relieve others and sadden others. I have been part of the Chorrol.com for many months, and I guess it will stay like that. I won't update no more, and won't be around no more. But all of you can still find me in Fanfiction.net. Well, I guess this is goodbye. smile.gif

A/N: Whoa, whoah and whoah. Scratch that one above this.
Blue O Mercs is up and running again folks!

Interflux.

"Listen, do you know the stories about the et'Ada that gave parts of themselves to the Final Creation, Nirn?" Asfrid patiently asked the reading Dunmer. With a nod from Damaren, Asfrid continued.

Before he can say anything, however, Lugrub smashed a lesser Golem's head in and the Earthly Atronach crumbled to dust. With a mere flick of his hands, the dust formed a body and the Golem rised again. Lugrub continued to practice with it. With a snort, he continued his delayed story.

"Those who gave only gave small parts of themselves became the Divines, like Akatosh or Mara. Those who gave themselves fully became the Earth Bones. Y'know, plants, waters, fire all that stuff. But those who gave themselves fully and survived, became the Ruler of the Elements, us.

Being the superiors, the Daedra became our masters. Only the good ones though, like Meridia or Azura. In this case, Jureni served the Queen of Dusk and Dawn. I serve Meridia because she and I share the same personalities.

Now that that's over with, I'll tell you about the mysterious Goddess. She was formerly Salidariel, the Goddess of Ice and Seduction. One day she got an arguement with the sly Molag Bal about who's the better deceiver. They made a bet with each other.
A bad bet indeed.

In the end, Salidariel lost and was corrupted by the Daedric God of, well, corruption." Damaren shrugged, and gestured Asfrid to continue.

"So, cursing her to sleep for a long time, Molag Bal placed her sleeping body in Kamal, the Snow Hell. You can guess the rest. Zator'El oom Kamal or whatever his name found her body and his very essence further corrupted her. In the end, she awoken and blamed Zator for her curse. Dismembered him and feasted upon the remains. I pity the fool.

Now, let's talk about Ashindusk. It was formerly ruled by the God of Flames and Mayhem, Fandrelin. Just like their God, Ashindusk and her inhabitants are a hostile bunch.

Did I mention that the people of Ashindusk are a cross between Dunmer and Dremora? Brave and cruel, they are. But they have a strict sense of honor.

Most of the terrain are volcanoes, twisted trees and all that hot stuff. But it's underground mines are filled with what we call Flamesteed ore.

Harder than Daedric armor and lighter than Leather. Good stuff. The smiths of Ashindusk forged many legendary weapons with this ore, including the infamous Goldbrand. All that tale about 'dragons' and 'knights in shining armor' are a bunch of Cliff Racer dung.

Fandrelin, being the destructive boat he is, went to war with Dagon, his bitter rival. Yeah, you heard me well. So, forging Goldbrand and enchanting it with the souls of a hundred Valkynaz he offered it to his master, Boethia.

Being a woman at that time, Boethia accepted the offer and graced Fandrelin's soldiers her blessing. Heck, she even graced him an offer he could never refuse, if you catch my drift. Ah, good ol' Fandrelin.

We're over with the Goddess and Fandrelin, right?" Damaren nodded. "Now, about your father, Jureni. To tell you the truth, he isn't your father.

He IS you. YOU are HIM. You see, if an Elemental senses Death calling, they cut a part of themselves and fill it with their essence, their life force. We're not really Immortal, in a sense. We die, we come back again in a new Incarnation.

So the Goddess went to invade Tamriel, she started with Ashindusk first. At that time, Fandrelin and the whole of Ashindusk are in the Deadlands, battling Dagon.

Jureni caught wind of the Goddess' plan and went to Ashindusk to defend it.
His companions are a die-hard worshippers of Azura, so they went with Jureni to win her favor. After the events of Red Mountain, the Chimer became the Dunmer.

Some of the shamans prohibited the worship of Azura, thinking it of a betrayal. Because Jureni, at that time, went to confront Salidariel, the remaining fanatics disagreed with the shamans, still believeing that the so-called 'Demi-god' will return.
He returned, and had two factions fighting over the island of Ashindusk. He managed to persuade the Dunmer to stop fighting amongst themselves, but some joined Salidariel. The rest is history. You might be confused to why I'm suddenly telling you this." Damaren shook his head, not really caring. "Well, you're gonna need it for the coming Storm."

He finished with a bow, expecting an applaud from Damaren. Instead, he got an electrical shock and a cackling Dunmer. He easily shrugged it off by making the tiles in front of rise, blocking the lightnings.

"Are you out of your mind, boy?!" his very voice made the Aileyed ruin rumble, with giant plants suddenly growing beneath his feet. Most of the worshippers of Asfrid, the 'bandits' they encountered earlier, and Damaren's friend stopped what they were doing and glanced at the two Gods. Damaren shrugged, obviously not intimidated.

"Aww, I thought auntie Azury wants uncle Asfridy to teach naughty Damy how to control his naughty gifts!" he mocked-complained, while he battered his eyelashes at Asfrid.

The Old Elemental just gave him a look like Damaren slept with his wife, which of course Asfrid didn't have. Adellus, Lugrub and Lumpy laughed at the same time.

"You.. You'll learn respect b-", Asfrid was cut off with a rather loud explosion of white light. The impact blew everyone off their feet, but only the two Elemental Gods stood unscathed.

A stunningly beautiful Dunmer lady stood, wearing a beautifully woven dress that made her look like a Goddess.

On her left hand was a masterfully crafted star while on the other hand was a moon. Both of this statuette glowed brightly.

Azura smiled, making some of Asfrid's followers cover their eyes. It was so bright, that even Damaren had to turn away to shield his eyes.

"I see Jureni has blessed you with his tongue, Young One. A pleasure to finally meet my Champion. Now, speak Juren." her voice spoke of undisputed authority, but at the same time held a sweetness to it. Damaren shooked his head, and returned the smile.

"A long time since we habe spoken in Nirn, Mistress. I have to thank you again for reinforcing the Elemental Bond." Damaren bowed politely to the Daedric Goddess, while Asfrid and everyone, except Azura, felt their jaws drop. Damaren's voice, posture and the way he spoke changed tremendously.

"Jureni?" Asfrid quivered with doubt, with his hand shaking ferociously.

"Aye, it is me. But this interflux will not last long, at least for a few minutes. So I will make that mere time the best. Brother, Salidariel is planning to invade Tamriel again. Not suprising I know, but if She succeeds, the whole of Nirn and possibly Aetherius will be changed.

She plans on waging war with the Divines and Princes Themselves! I fear the demonic essence that surrounds her has finally destroyed Her last bit of sanity. The interflux is... fading away", his tone suddenly became desperate and he looked straight at Asfrid.

"..Anastavelia, High.. Rock, Camlorn.. Nejannil, Mournhold of Morrowind.. Hastingeal, Archon.. Find them and stop the Mad Salida-", Damaren clutched his heart, and growled in pain. He coughed off a few of his blood before passing out.

"He.. He just told us the location of the other Gods.. A thousand thanks upon you, Jureni. That was just what we needed. A lead to start." Asfrid turned to Azura, but unsuprisingly, she wasn't there.

"A thousand thanks to you also, Queen of Dusk." of course, he received no reply. But somewhere, Asfrid heard the faint chuckle of a Daedric Prince.

A/N: Is there any way you could change the title? I'm just going to erase the 'Prologue' there, it's unnecessary. Thanks.
mALX
My favorite chapter so far was the one that went into modern day Cyrodiil. Oh, my guess is the chuckling Daedric Prince is going to be Clavicus Vile! Yeah !!! I like this story, a little jumping around but really interesting!

I'm glad you decided to stay, a whole lot of new members just joined Chorrol because Bethesda changed their forum and it messed up all the fanfic section.

* By the way, if you find out how to edit the title, can you let me know? I wanted to edit mine too.

Aftershock

{()}

'I'm a believer.
Nothing could be worse.
All these imaginary friends.

Hiding betrayal.
Driving the nail.
Hoping to find a savior..

No..
Don't..
Leave me to die here..
Help me survive here alone..

Don't surrender..
Surrender..

Put me to sleep, Evil Angel.
Open your wings, Evil Angel.
Fly over me, Evil Angel.
Why can't I breathe, Evil Angel...?'

Ayleid Ruin of Sercen.

----------------------

The Halls of Sercen was bustling with activity. Many followers of Asfrid, who called themselves 'Na'Asfrale', prepared their gears. Those of whom skilled in Armorer repaired many weapons, the sound of clang echoing in the ruins. The Earthly Golems provided stone and steel, mostly from their own bodies. Those of whom skilled in Alchemy brewed many potions and poisons. A party of bowmen entered the ruin, and went to the chairs to rest, while some of them went to the healers. An armed Bosmer entered a room, which he saw a large Nord watching over the unmoving body of a Dunmer laid in a bed. The Bosmer raised his closed fist to his chest and bowed in respect.

"Mi'lord, the scouts found the tomb. However, the door that leads to the Main Chamber is blocked by a door."

"A door..? Explain, Mithael." questioned a confused Asfrid. He began to cast spells at Damaren, but none of them worked. Growling in frustration for the millionth time on that day, he went to a nearby cupboard and pulled out a vial pull of blue substance, muttered a few incoherent words and smashed it to smithereens. The broken pieces of the vial was absorbed by Asfrid, and he rubbed the contents on his hands.

Mithael just watched with his jaw dropped. The rest of Na'Asfrale just went to their business, oblivous to Asfrid's work.

A szwishzz sound erupted, and a ball of gray energy appeared out of nowhere. Biting his bottom lip and resisting the intense pain that kissed his palms, Stonebeard walked towards Damaren. Sensing that he could no longer handle the energy on his hands, he muttered a spell and the energy flew towards Damaren. The energy happily danced aboved the Dunmer for a few minutes, before hugging the lying Damaren. Upon the impact, Damaren convulsted before hitting the bed, motionless.

"GODSDAMNED, MASOCHISTIC PIECE OF DIRT FULL OF GUAR DUNG! WHORESON, SPIT DRINKING KNAVE!" he roared, with the ruin shaking violently. If not an earthquake. In fact, many Alchemists dropped their vials, many Armorers had their hammers broken and many warriors had their weapons smashed.

Asfrid, on the other hand was shaking furiously. So blinded by rage, he failed to notice a figure suddenly appearing out of nowhere and sat on the chair behind him.

"My, my. Such language, m'dear Asfrid. Why, even Molag Bal would blush and reprimand you of your choice of words." a flamboyant voice chuckled, while Mithael froze on the spot. Asfrid, body glowing with greenish aura, swirled and came face to face with the Daedric businessman Clavicus Vile. Snarling, he muttered a few unknown words and vines started to wrap itself at Clavicus' leg. The Daedra snorted and with a mere snap of his fingers, the vines suddenly became dehydrated. The Daedra glanced at the Bosmer and asked him;

"You there! What's your name and desire?" the Daedra smiled sweetly at him, making the Bosmer trapped in a trance.

".. Mithael Fimmion.. I.. I want sweetrolls.." with a nod and a smirk from Clavicus Vile, the vines instantly vanished and was replaced by ten sweetrolls. The woodelf gasped and plunged himself at the sweets. He gorged himself with it, ignoring the disgusted look of Asfrid. Fists shaking furiously, he pointed his fingers at Clavicus Vile and screamed at him;

"You filthy Daedra! You DARE interrupt me and make my second-in-command craze himself on sweetrolls?! Why, I'll erase you from existence and send you back to Oblivion where you belo-", but was abruptly cut off by a hand by Clavicus. Making tsk tsk noises and crossing his leg, he began.

"First of all, I didn't come here to fight. Secondly, a Khajiit friend of mine told me that your scouts have been hanging around places were they shouldn't be. Third, well I want to finally meet Meridia's boy toy. Fourth, you're the first sexy et'Ada I've ever met. Fifth, see number four." he grinned at Asfrid, while he battered his eyelashes.

"WHAT THE HECK DO YOU EVEN WANT?! YOU HAVE JUST WASTED MY PRECIOUS TIME BY CHATTING IDLE NONSENSE!!"

"Well, I am the Prince of Pacts, yes. So, if you want to know how to 'cure' your little apprentice, I suggest you listen to me carefully."

"What? The Aftershock was supposed to be Forbbiden! Even amongst the Princes and the Divines! Where did you get this information?"

"How did I know, you ask? Pacts are associated with Negotiation, m'dear. It appears that one of the Divines knew about this, and I manged to pry it from Him by skills alone. Do you know who I am referring to?" he answered the question with a question while pointing upwards with a mischievous smile. "Of course, information nowadays is traded with.. things." Clavicus chuckled.

Asfrid can only open his mouth in awe.

"You won over Zenithar?" the only reply he got was Clavicus raising one fist under his chin and making a 'check' gesture. Asfrid only shook his head.

Unknown Realm, beyond Nirn.

----------------------------------------

----------------------------------------

Voices.

What were you thinking?! Abandoning Laeg'Reval like that in Nirn!

I thought you cared, Brother. I thought you won't let them hurt me..

Broken promises, unkept oaths. A hypocrite and deceiver. That's you, Jureni.

Voices. He couldn't see anything, but he could hear it. Hear voices, whispering, crying and pleading. He tried to move, but he was restrained by some greater force. All he could do was listen. Listen to the voices. This time, he felt an icy feeling touch his cheeks. It felt strange to Damaren.

It feels so wrong, yet good at the same time, right Love?

It is not incest if you know not the relationship, my dear. An acquintance of mine always told me that.. Besides, we're gods! We're not humans, so we do not inbreed.

Light suddenly exploded, temporarily blinding the frozen Dunmer. It was just that, light. Light everywhere. Even though he could see, there was just light. White light. Even though he could stand, the ground Damaren is standing on is light. White light.

Then the Voices started again. This time, two unknown forces seem to argue with one another.

I did what was best for us, my love! Don't deny us of our destiny!

Best for us?! You gave the Orb of Lorkhan to Mehrunes Dagon! Only Hermaeus Mora knows what he can do with such Power! Gods! I don't even know why I'm with you!

Oh, it's my fault now huh? Didn't you heard what I even said, you prideful honoured user? I gave it to him so we can Wake the sleeping Beast!

No.. No! You insolent wench! Unleashing Laeg'Reval will release the Doomdrum from his prison! What have you done!

So?! By fact, Nature is Chaotic! Don't you see? The Eight Traitors will pay for what they done to Lorkhan! Our father, if you do not remember!

You seek about the Destruction of Mundus and Everything! Your mind have been poisoned by Sheogorath! Only he is Mad enough to try this! If Lorkhan is freed, so is Padomay!
The Whole Universe will be Destroyed and Changed!

If you are not with me, then you are the one who is poisoned! Poisoned by the Eight who mutilated Our Father and deceived Us into becoming Elementals. Trust me, after this is over, Nothing, I mean Nothing can stop Us from reclaiming Our rightful Place.

Wake up from this Nonsense, Salidariel! We can still stop this! Please, I beg of you!

The Time of Chaos starts now, my love. You, the Others and certainly not the Princes and Divines cannot stop Me. I am Salidariel no more. I am the Goddess and you will leave the Snow Hell right.. now. Or you shall regret ever coming here.

It was at this moment, Damaren felt an indescribable pain hugging him. He felt his eyes bulged out of it's sockets. He felt his limbs being torn off, one by one. But most of all he felt his very soul being sucked away.

It was at this moment, Damaren woke.
