Well, it's that time of the year. Again. 2008 has come and mostly gone - personally I'll be glad to see the back of it. Been a funny year for me. The competition back in May/June was generally great, the visit of Starge and Alex to see me in the UK was just amazing - and then it went downhill fast. It's taken me almost six months to get an internet connection that stays active for longer than five minutes, but hey, I have that now and so 2009 promises to be much much better wink.gif

So, things I'm looking forward to doing in 2009:

Posting up some fanfic. It's been waaaay to long since I have.

Reading the huge masses of stories that have been updated in my absence.

Meeting some more people from Chorrol in person, and hope seeing Alex and Starge again as well tongue.gif ,that seriously was the years highlight for me. I guess all thats left to say is

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I hope it's a good one for each and everyone person here smile.gif

I take that as a promise!!

Now for me I hope to finish my Story of Serene and perhaps start a sequel... And read all other stories that I've missed here and also make good comments...hmm yeah

Apart from that I wish the whole Chorrol-community

A HAPPY NEW 2009!!

Happy New Year, all!

Happy new year Chorrolites, heres hoping that everyone has a better year than I had on last go around.

Happy New Year to all. Plans for 2009- reading (and commenting) more, writing more.... Hmm- that will probably be enough.

So it is traditional in the Southern US to eat black-eyed peas on the first day of the year- for luck.... It is my considered opinion that this is based on the same logic as, say- lutefisk. The idea is that the rest of the year will be better- because it can't be worse.

True to form I imagine, and seriously hope, that yesterday will have been one of the worst days of this year. I rediscovered why I vowed never to drink british 'wine' again and renewed that periodical promise.

So happy new year! Or as we say here; Lang may yer lumb reek!.

Played darts and billiards, ate Mexican food, and drank mucha cerveza last night. Happy New Year, indeed. Now, if someone would hire me...

Happy 2009 everyone and let us hope good things happen in this year of hope with new leaders.

I will be continuing to work on TESFU Town Mod. We are delighted to be adding Minque's Healer NPC Serene into our little seaside town of Neacrythe near Pelasiad and the famous alchemy/adventurer Treydog will be contributing articles to the underground newspaper of freedom The Union. And we will welcome any of you who would like to be an NPC in the world of Morrowind. You can read about it here in the Older Games Forum under Morrowind Mods.

I also have some plans for joining TIL - The Imperial Library site - early this year. I've heard great things about it and very much respect the members I know from there.

If all goes well with my RL plans I may be getting to attend community college to study Computer Animation for Video Game creation. Albeit by bus/bicycle (our buses in Orlando have bicycle racks on front) instead of by car. But it is too early to tell about that exciting plan yet. Please pray & keep your fingers crossed for me though. T'would be sweet if it happens.

Very cool, Ibis. I will hold a good thought for you. I have always been in favor of folks going for more school- provided it has something to offer. Actually, I was thinking of you and your art recently. Don't know how closely you follow Ebay trends, but Mrs. Treydog still has a presence there. Anyhow, the latest trend is something called ACEO cards. They are playing card size (3.5 by 2.5 inches) original paintings. The auctions usually start at around 3.99 to 4.99. The Great Bun has sold all of the ones she has listed.... Thought it might be something you could consider to generate interest in your art and a little extra cash... PM me if you would like more details.

And here's hoping you and Cain (sp.?) have a grand New Year.

I am in a deep hole and I'm digging myself up. I can't promise anything for 2009, but I can promise I'll try to climb more up rather than down.

The year is looking better already. Be glad to hand you a shovel.... erm, step-ladder, anytime.
