I'd like to take this opportunity to thank raggidman for being cool, to BSD-IES for suggesting I take a look at a website called Critters, and to the authors of some of the excellent stories submitted to the recent fan competition who received zero points and zero recognition for some bloody excellent work, work that I would be prepared to pay money for to be allowed to read.

I'd also like to say a thank-you to Alex, whose patience and vigilence does him more than a fair bit of credit.

But this is goodbye. I have seen things that have irreparably damaged my sense of this website being fair and right, and I cannot in good conscience continue to be a part of it. This "community" strikes me to be all about warm happy feelings and as such is totally unsuited to the realities of organising an actual competition and become the focal point of the entire fan fiction universe of TES.

It saddens me to see this website that is bursting with talent, imagination, and potential, and to see how this treasure is being squandered for the sake of not hurting people's feelings.

Farewell my friends! I will check in every now and then and see if there's been some positive change. Until then you all have my best wishes.
