My hubby downloaded the new free Bethesda Castle Mod and it is really nice. It's a nice large size castle with your own servants and guards and secret passages and a lost owner story even. Very nice with stables, wine maker you collect herbs for and even a taxidermist that you bring slain animal skins to and she makes taxidermied statues that are displayed in your grand hall. The private quarters are beautiful and come with a personal maid.
I look forward to reinstalling Oblivion for this mod. Think I'll make an Imperial character.

I downloaded this as well, mostly because it's free. I've just started a new Morrowind character, so I probably won't give this a try for a while; however, it did look decent.

I saw that on the site. Is it still free?

It is no longer free. I guess that was just a short term thing, although why they would do that is beyond me.

Seems to conflict with Knights of the Nine (bugs the quest progress). Of course, this is kind of a known KOTN problem, and Timeslip's Mod Manager fixes it....

I just got the castle too. It's pretty nice. There aren't that many secret passages and I definetally like secret passages!
I wish they would have people attack your castle or something. It's a nice house and all but, I still want to defend it!

So, this conflicts with one of their own mods. Not so smart. It's good that there is a way to fix this.

I have it for the 360 but it wasn't free for me. Maybe around 1-2 bucks.
