Full Version: Oblivion Specs

Malpense the Dark
Basically my situation is this;

My old computer just wouldn't cut playing Oblivion. The graphics card was frightfully outdated and the game would never play on it. I got the game for the XBOX 360 instead, which is less than ideal because I don't have XBOX Live and I can't get the expansion packs and I'd like the construction pack.

Anyway my computer died the other day and I had to get a new one. This really came at a bad time, money was tight so I couldn't get a really good games computer, and I had to trasfer all my documents to a new computer asap.

The computer I got is certainly better than the old one, but I'm not sure if Oblivion will play on it. The specs are as followes;

Intel Pentium D Processor 820, 2.8 GHz, 2x1MB L2 Cache

1024MB 533MHz DDR2 SDRAM

160GB 7200RPM Serial ATA hard drive

NVIDIA Geforce 7500LE 3D PCI Express Graphics

If I need to list anymore information please tell me and I'll list the rest of it. If someone could help me out I'd really appreciate it. It's not necessary that I have the game on pc, but it would be nice smile.gif

Appologise if there was a thread like this already, but I figured it would be soundly sleeping now.

Well tbh, I didn't see a difference between 1GB and 2GB RAM on Oblivion, graphics card was more influencial.

7500LE isn't exactly amazing, should run it at mediums but I recomend at least a 7900 GT for running max.
