Why did Bethesda create this Spell Tomes mod? Why can't they work on something worth while, like an expansion pack for Oblivion, not just some other stuff that we don't need? We don't need those spells, we could just create them on our own in the construction set! Grrr...

possibly they make this "crap" to get quick cash to support the making of the expansion.

The only official mods I have are Frostcrag Spire, the Horse Armor, Mehrunes Razor, the Orrery one, and the Thieves Den. I don't even know why I have the Horse Armor one, but, hell, I found them free.

I've bought all the mods as I want to add as much to the game as possible. I'm on the Xbox 360 so unofficial plug-ins are not an option for me nor is the CS. I've found several of the new spells and yes I could have made them all myself so far but who cares, it's only $.99 USD or in my case 80 microsoft points.

As for an expansion they saved that for the PS3 version. They have a new faction added called "Knights of the Nine". Not sure if it will be released for Xbox 360 or PC versions or not. If they do release it for the other versions I hope it's in the form of a download as I really don't want to have to get a new copy of Oblivion like the xbox version of Morrowind when the GOTY version was released.

Uhhh... you get another CD (DVD, in this case) if you have the PC version. Are you sure you had to get Morrowind all over again? I got all of them because I couldn't get them in separate packages. XBoxes are crazy!

Well, the xbox had to get a whole new version of Morrowind to add the expansions as there was no way to add the expansions to the hard drive. As for the "Knights of the Nine" there is an interview on IGN.com where Todd Howard, Executive Producer of Oblivion says that the Xbox 360 and PC versions will be getting "Knights of the Nine" and that there are no plans to release a game of the year version of Oblivion which tells me that Xbox 360 and PC will be getting "Knights of the Nine" as DLC. Which if is indeed the case I'll buy it as I have lots of microsoft points just waiting for more Oblivion content.

This won't do me any good since I playing on the Xbox 360. I wouldn't run unofficial mods even if I had the PC version as they could mess up your game some how.

Saw some good news on the Bethesda site today. Looks like they are making the Knights of the Nine available for download, AND will be coming out with a packaged deal of all the downloadables in late November.

I bought, and enjoy, the Spell Tomes plugin. For the price, it's handy.

I just got knights of the nine, all the official mods at my mercy

Havent been able to play knights of the nine yet..Not really been playing oblivion since I lost my character.

Got the KOTN disk when it came out, and installed all the mods on it. Have played through most of them already. I wish there was more to them, but I do like the added scenery it puts in. Only one I haven't touched is Mehrunes Razor. Knights has been fun, and I've saved right before talking to the prophet to see if there is any difference in his response sto me. I want that Daedric armor in the KOTN mod for my character. Mega cool. The spell tomes has been rather enjoyable as they aren't all in one place. I;ve found them in dungeons, peopl's houses, one in Oblivion itself. You never know exactly where you;ll find them so looking is at least 1/2 the fun.
