i think the ebony axe in morrowind is just wicked, and the daedric shortsword in oblivion is awesome!
Fargoth
Ebony axe in Morrowind. Daedric Longsword in Oblivion.
Almost the same smile.gif
Ibis
Cosmetically? I think mascara is your all around best effect but lipstick is your quick pick-me-up.

Ohh??? Oblivion? Ahem, well ... I love this bow that Cain enchanted in Oblivion that will set on fire an army Captain and his whole squad of 10 or 12 men in one area-effect arrow. Not sure which bow he used though. Will ask when he wakes up.

I loved the dwemer crossbow in Morrowind. I'd enhance its stats and use orchish bolts with superhuge punch called KnockBack Bolts that would just make some Cliffracers explode in midair. ahahahaha!!!
I also loved just about all the Daedric weapons - especially dai-katana, katana and bow/arrows.
jack cloudy
Do you have to ask? Just read my fanfics. It has to be Chrysamere. Simple but oh so elegant.

As for normal weapons, I'll take Ebony.
The Metal Mallet
The Dwarven claymore in Morrowind is kinda interesting to look at.

For Oblivion weapons, I say the Blade of Woe, or Ebony Sword (very sleek).
Aki
Oblivion: The Fine Steel Longsword. Simple. Yet very beautiful in its' simplicity. That or the Ebony weapons.

Morrowind: Tough one....I'd have to go with the Ebony Scimatar. The weapon High Ordies have. biggrin.gif
DungeonHunter
ooh lotsa ebony.. i love it
Ibis
Overall the weapons are much finer and more beautiful in Obliv than MW, I think. Although I am not enamored of the glass in Oblivion, I much prefer the crystally Morrowind glass.
kabbila
i like my glass claymore a lot ^^ however the physics make bows very intresting

S'all Ebony, dude.

I like Goldbrand (Boethia), the Ebony Blade (Mephala), and the Mace of Molag Bal (stated Daedra Lord). But... hell, I like all the stuff that looks cool.
Pisces
In Morrowind it would have to be either the ebony or glass axe. In Oblivion I love the elven shortsword, infact I think I am still using it despite the fact I have found better. There was a special dai katana, looked like steel I think but it was much stronger, unenchanted but obviously unique, forgot its name but I liked it.

Oh yeah, in Morrowind I loved the Ice blade of the Monarch, wish I still had it in Oblivion.
Ibis
hehe.gif Let's mod it in Pisces ... I'm going to start learning Obliv modeling/retexturing. Heck I better - I've used all that space on my hard drive with the Obliv expanded Data files - better make use of em now. Oh I know! I could burn them to CDs and have reference disks like for MW.

kabbila - I will try out an Obliv bow upon your recommendation.

And Pisces, I am totally enamored of all the Elven. It's really beautiful and is something I always wished that MW had, after seeing elven in other games I had played.
Black Hand
I love the Akaviri Katanas, and the Fine Steel Dagger, for a marksman based character, it was just perfect for a close quick punch. Also Sufferthorn was just to cool, especially after level 30.

For bows, I loved the Black Bow (Steel Bow) for lower levels, and Ebony for higher. I wish I had the Computer Verison of Oblivion, just to make the Steel Bows stronger, even enchanted with say Damge HEalth 30 points, its still useless after level 16 or so. So sad.

Ibis
[Muwwaahahaha, the secret post Ibis has been waiting for is just above her ^.]

Be sad no more my friend ... I will at least remedy this situation in The Writ of the Black Hand mod. But wait! How are you going to run it on X-Box? I will have to submit it to Bethesda as an official mod and also send Todd Howard .... a little Sunhold Champagne??? They will fold like cards in our hand, BH ... never fear - the weapons of thy dreams SHaLL be yours!

in morrowind, bows just did dammage: in oblivion, the arrows can move things if they hit them, you can shoot things off... like those magica recharge stones in elves ruins + in oblivion you have a small chance of knocking guys of bridges into the lava.
Ibis
So kool kabbila!! That's the Havoc Engine at work, right? ohmy.gif

Someone modded it into Oblivion recently. Its' really accurate looking, so its' worth a look if you've got PC Oblivion. biggrin.gif

Morrowind also had a cool feature OB sadly doesn't.

If you nail a spell with a arrow (or another spell) it'll detonate prematurely. A great way to deal with pesky mages. Eventually they run out of magicka a suicidally charge you with a weapon or their fists. biggrin.gif

Shame OB lost that. Was fun. Good test of reflexes.

Yessss.....If you give me a couple of months,...I can get the Comp for Oblivion. I have the PC Version, seriously, I went out and bought it. Its still in its packaging gathering dust in the Alas Tomb near Molag Mar, being held by an unworthy bearer.

Wait...thats Mehrunes Dagon.

Umm,....yeah. I still have the dang thing, just not a Computer worthy to run it.
Ibis
Aaah, BH ... you sound like me with Oblivion. I am waiting for a worthy video card = so until then my great Oblivion fun is making character faces and SLOWLY strolling about Cheydinhal. I like that town and also have Chedinhal Petshop mod installed but I can't get a pet yet cause they lag out my char completely to single FRAPS. huh.gif
I_am_elf_hear_me_roar
for oblivion: ebony blade
for morrowind: bound longsword
Ibis
I'm going to have to check out this Ebony in Oblivion ... everyone keeps mentioning it. I had a sorta love/hate feel about the Ebony in MW. Not sure why exactly either.
DungeonHunter
just love here!
Bolzmania
Daedric Dai-Katana in Morrowind

Umbra in Oblivion

//Daedroth
Kaizerwolf
never played Morrowind...

However, the Dawnfang and Duskfang for Oblivion. Always a crowd favorite.
Arcalin
Looking:
Dwangfang
Knigts sword (weird knights in Shivering Isles...)

Useful: Apotheithis (or something like that)

Funny: Wabbajack
FishRfine
elven longsword. they look awesome. on that topic, where can I find one at lvl 3? I beat the grey prince, he didnt have it on him. I have it for 360. I will go to any lengths to get one, cause they look sooooooo cool.
marks_man
[size=4]My three favourite weapons in oblivion would have to be chillrend the debaser and hatreds soul biggrin.gif

youve gotta be like level 10 before even the strongest opponets will have them
Syndelius Daerleth
I personally like the dawn/dusk fang in oblivion the best since it never runs out of enchantment and on the off chance it does in a minute it changes and the enchantments back again and its pretty neat looking
saqin
Definitely the Ebony bow in oblivion. Chillrend looks good as well.
King Of Beasts
Anything long sword that's enchanted with a fire spell
Darkness Eternal
You bumped a dead thread . . .necromancer.

Elisabeth Hollow
I had an enchanted Elven sword in Oblivion I called "SunShadow," and it would one-hit almost anything, even Manimarco.

I miss that sword...

Obviously Dawnbreaker in Skyrim lol
McBadgere
Always had a thing for Chillrend...(Glass shortsword with ice damage)...But it's all about the Ebony weapons for me, both in Oblivion and Skyrim...

I miss my Escutcheon of Chorrol though, the shields are not as nice in Skyrim...
Darkness Eternal
Woah. The edge!

Edited.
King Of Beasts
My new favorite weapon is shadowrend from SI. It's epic.
Grits
I really like the fine steel longsword in Oblivion. Jerric’s Redeemer is a sigil stone enchanted fine steel longsword.

My favorite special weapon in Oblivion is Northwind. I love everything about it.

Northwind? Is that when Jerric eats beans? wink.gif
mirocu
I like the ebony spear in Morrowind and any Fine Steel weapon in Oblivion. I also like the looks of Oblivionīs glass and elven weapons, although as many think they should have made the longsword more slick.
