This is probably easily solved problem, maybe something I'm overlooking or something. But how do you enable screenshots for Oblivion. Because when I press the PrtScn button, nothing is happening. I tried looking the in the ReadMe for assistance but have yet to find anything. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Mallet, go into your .ini file (the icon that looks like a peice of paper with a little gear at the bottom right) and in the line where it says "Allow screenshots = 0" .... you change the 0 to a 1. Then save and now you can do screenshots.
BUT first - save your original .ini file and move it to another location (like its own folder in C:/, something like that where you know where it is in case you want to change it back)
In order to do really good screenshots, you also have to have the patch for Oblivion installed. Before the patch the only way to screenshot your character was when they were pictured next to their inventory screen.

Thanks Ibis! I was able to to find it no problem! I'll get back to you once I try it out if I run into any problems.
But I trust your advice so I don't think I'll be needing it. I also have the patch so I can make very tasty screenshots

Hmmm, still not working. But I now have an empty folder called TestCameraPath001 and 002. Dunno what those are. I also noticed a command called "screen shot index" in the .ini file. Should that equal 1 or 0? Is there some sort of prompt in the game that tells you that you made a screenshot, because that would also be helpful. Thanks.
I tried taking a screenshot from the inventory when the "screen shot index" equalled 1, at default it was 0. I haven't tried it when it equals 0 yet, but I just wanna find out if this "Screen Shot Index" is significant for doing them.

Hmmm, I'm not sure about the screenshot index. All I've ever done for Morrowind and Oblivion was change the 0 to a 1. Let me pm somebody and see if they know what the problem could be. Are you pressing the PrintScreen key on your keyboard above the Insert key?

Make sure that you are editing the Oblivion.ini file that is in the .../My Documents/My Games/Oblivion folder, not the one in your .../Bethesda Softworks/Oblivion folder. The line you are looking for is bAllowScreenShot=0. Obviously, the 0 should be changed into a 1. Make the change, save and you're set to go. The iScreenShotIndex is merely an indicator for how many screenshots you've taken and what the next screenshot will be named. Eg. iScreenShotIndex=20 would mean that you have taken 19 screenshots already and the next screenshot would be named ScreenShot20. Changing the Index number into a lower number would result in overwriting existing screenshots when you take a new one.

Ahhh, that was my problem, I went to the Bethesda Softworks folder. That should probably fix my problem. Thanks Ibis and Rane.

The screenshot button works sporadically for me. Sometimes I load my game and play and it works fine, other times it doesn't work at all. I think the game has a plot against me...

That doesn't happen in other games? Maybe your keyboard is wearing out?
