I dont know waht to choose. I have an acrobat and want to raise my personality. Should I get the mask to spoeed it up or should I use the sword for fighting?

Well if you want the sword for fighting then use the sword for fighting, personally I didn't bother but the masque isn't that great either, it is a cool looking daedric helmet with 20 personality but I never found personality that useful.

You can always use umbra for a while then change to the masque later.

Good point. Except I cant use it now since im saving up the grand soul gems. This sucks.

Obviously I don´t respond to the OP here, but I went with the mask. Don´t want anything stuck in my inventory. Plus the mask is very good at hiding my morning face

Remember, that happened in our early days when we both were new and inexperienced with Oblivion. Now, I don´t think we would had done it.

You don't have to kill the elf to get the sword. Disintegrate weapon can make her drop it, and you can repair it afterward.
