My personality is too high to do Namira's quest, so I bought some cheap wine. But you can only have four "potions" active at a time, and even after the wine my personality is still too high. Is there any other way, such as an item I could wear or a disease I could catch, that would give me the extra drainage I need to do the quest?

Items that have Drain Personality and where you'll find them:

Helm of Ferocity ( Drain 5 pts ) - Skingrad, Hammer and Tongs
Scales of Pitiless Justice ( Lowers Personality 2 pts when in inventory ) - Quest reward for the Scheduled for Execution, Dark Brotherhood quest.

Diseases that have the Drain Personality effect and where you're likely to catch the disease from:

Brown Rot ( 5 pts ) - Zombie
Greenspore ( 10 pts ) - Zombie, Slaughterfish
Rust Chance ( 5 pts) - Zombie
Serpiginous Dementia ( 10 pts ) - Headless Zombie


Of course, if all that fails you can temporarily alter your personality with the console provided that you are on the PC.

Have you tried to create a drain personality spell on self? I cant remember if you can create spells like that to cast on self...

The easy way is just to mix 2 damage personality ingrediants together then throw in a positive effect so you can drink it. Can't remember what ingrediants I used but you can always use this http://oblivion.melian.cc/?cmd=cmdOblivionAlchemyWizard

Of course you need decent alchemy to do so, if not you need a spell or such.

I managed to get my personality down temprarily with about 5 bottles of cheap wine. lasts for about a minute or 2, but that is long enough. Drink it right by the person you need to talk to at the shrine, then talk to her.

For this, remember that to make a potion that will lower your personality, it must have at least one positive effect, and you want to avoid using an alembic (else it will lessen the effect of lowering your personality score).

I played through with a maxed out character, and used three potions to damage my personality to the single digits.

just punch the speaker woman in the face . should solve it .

either that or down four whole bottles of wine in one go . hopefuly you wont pass out or die of alchol poisoning
