I don't know why the ~ key does not work for me! It's supposed to work but i cant get it to. Can someone help me

Doesn't this belong in the Oblivion forum thread? Do you mean opening the console commands of Oblivion using the tilde ~ key? The mods will probably move this thread to there if that's what you mean...

Yep, this will most certainly be moved, but since I might be able to help you I'll post anyway.

The ~ key is not the ~ on european keyboards. Have you tried the §-key? Or whatever key you have right bellow ESC and right above TAB? That's the one that works for me.

Calling it the ~ is incorrect, its actaully the ` key, I'm fairly sure not matter what keyboard you have, I have a US one and it is the ` key, don't know why people call it the ~ key, perhaps its because its on the same button, but if it were the ~ key then you would press shift+`to access the console.

Note ` not ', like somebody said its the button below escape and above tab.

It's not the ´ no matter what keyboard you have. For most european keyboards the key above TAB is § and shift-½. But I think he gets the drift.
