I just sat for a long time today playing with facegen, and made myself. Woodelf seemed for a strange reason to suite my features best, I at first thought that Nord would have done better, but nope, oh well.
Has anyone of you guys tried this out?
It would be great fun to see some screenys of yourself!
Here's the result:

Its also fun to set the characters stats as yours would be irl. Makes it feel like you are almost in the game in some ways XD.
More fun to do in morrowind, since the whole scaled levelling thing isnt in it.

LOL! aye, I did that also sort of.
I think I will actually continue playing with.. erm... myself in the game

and see where that leads to.

It does look a bit like you Fetherwen. I always thought you looked a little elvish in a very cute way. Remember I thought that in the Real Pics thread. lol
Think I will try myself.

Fetherwen,
I know you meant to make yourself in Oblivion and I haven't had a chance to try that yet.
But I did make myself in Morrowind and here is the result:
http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h155/Sun...aeMorrowind.jpgI would normally have used he long blonde Nord hairdo - Female Hair 01 - but I had to use this one to cover slight differences in color between me and the model skin.

o_O what, how did you do that? It looks like you would have cut out a piece of you face and put that in the game.
Very cool though

Careful with that. You might go blind.

I have infact, but the result was so unrealistic I never ended up using it.
It ended up more like how I ideally view myself than how I actually look

Throw out a picture of it, Stomach Ache. We'd like to see your ideal self. (You are rather photogenic to begin with

I only spend about 10 minutes on this and I was trying primarily to make it look like a high elf, however the secondary objective was modeling my self portrait. Big differences between me and my character is my eyes are darker and my skin is a whole bunch paler, but like I said I was trying to make him look like a high elf so pale skin wouldn't suit.

Sorry for the blurry/green picture but I don't have photoshop installed so I can't convert it to JPEG without making it blurry and I can't adjust the brightness so I cast a light spell.

i made a pale pale redguard that sorta looks like me. couldn't quite fix it to be a true likeness though. no screenies because my printscreen key is also the insert key, can't figure out how to swap the function

Pretty good Pisces, I think that looks alot like you. But your face is narrower than that.

I know, I tried to make the face as narrow as possible but the Oblivion ones are quite wide by default. I think that was as narrow as I could make it without totally messing up the shape. If you compare it to the other faces in oblivion it is very narrow, but still wider than my real life face.
If you look at the cheek bone and jaw of my character it is narrower than it looks but the jaw is very low and curved.

I attempted to put myself in the game. Not sure if I did it though, I'm at work right now but when I get home I'll post some comparative screenies.
Here it is.

I do virtually every time (especially when playing with an Orc) but I have a tendency to beautify and trim down some features so I look like Keanu Reeves after 30 minutes of slider toying - kind of flattering, not really that honest.
