Just wondering if there is any weapon rack mod for oblivion??? That lets you simply click on the rack and it automatically puts the weapon where it needs to be, because im having a hell of a time getting my loot arranged! I know there was one for morrowind called "Weapon Rotate"
Ibis
Okay, this Cheydinhal Petshop mod has weapon racks - what they are like exactly I don't know because I haven't been there yet although I do have it installed (busy doing other things right now) ... but you might want to check them out.
The petshop is in the same abandoned house of the DarkBrotherhood Questline, but it is refurbished into a petshop with the brotherhood hidden in the cellar.
Hope they are the kind of weapon racks you are seeking. If not, look into using the mod and finding the old scripting for the "weapon-rotate' and racks that stored weapons script from Morrowind and think about editing the scripts to fit your racks in Oblivon. All I can think of.

An even more basic Question, How does anyone get swords ect. on a weapon rack?
Ibis
I have made weapon racks for myself in MW that were containers where you could store your weapons and I decorated them with some hanging swords...but how to make them get placed - I'm not sure how to do that. There is a mod that makes shields and other things be placed front forwards haning on a wall, perhaps that script could be adapted to make them hang on the weapon rack.

I'm not really a scripter .. not a good one anyways.

Do you know the name of this mod?
Ibis
No, sorry but I don't.

When you say "get" weapons and shields on a rack, do you mean when you sell them to vendors? or to just drop them onto the racks?

if the lader one, you could write yourself some sort of complex script so that if you got it "close" to being in the rack, it would auto center it for you. good luck
