This is a kind of strange glitch, first make sure you have a way to bound a weapon to your self, and have a horse near by.

Summen the weapon (Type does not matter, nor does the way you summen it) and get on the horse, there should be a message saying "You cannot unequip this item" and the icon telling you how much time is left in the summen will dissapear. Now get off the horse, sometimes you can still use the weapon, other times you will go into hand to hand combat, with the weapon in your hand!(Sometimes it will alternate as well)

Be carefull though! If you equip another weapon the game will freeze.

Kind of odd, but fun none the less.

I read this somewhere else as well, although it was explained a bit differently: Bound a weapon, get on the horse, fast travel anywhere, and you'll have the weapon until you equip another one.

I noticed a similar glitch once, by accident. In my travels, I happened upon one of the special stones that gives you a point to your Conjuration skill, as well as a temporary Bound weapon and a Bound piece of armor. I wanted to switch the weapon out, because I preferred using weak weapons for boosting my Blade skill. I ended up dropping the Bound Daedric Claymore, and it didn't disappear. I picked it right up, and it was completely normal and useable. My character still has it. I tried dropping the armor right after, but it wouldn't let me.

Thats a neat glitch... I know it wouldnt let me drop either weapons or armors when I summoned... it would be cool if anyone figures what variables might allow you to drop a weapon, or if it is just random...

UESP.wiki now has MANY known glitches. There are several ways to get permanent bound weapons/armor/magic items. It's a great resource.
