I am doing the Mage's guild quest's and spoke with Mercator Hosidus who said come back tomorrow. I did and he still asks "has a day passed? No." and the dialoge qiuts. I've returned every day for 5 days and still get the same answer. Any Ideas?

I had the same problem. I waited on a bench for 24 hours & then he told me that the count will meet in a meadow to the west of the west gate.
