I was thinking the other night how much I would love to draw some of my characters and post them here... but my drawing abilities suck... and then I got a little moody... but then I thought we have many talented artist in this website... why not get the artist and the writers (such as me) to work together and make some characters from the stories here come to life... it's just a idea I got and if no one wants to participate thats fine... but I would realy like it if someone where to draw abyss from the fan fic section... that would be cool... realy cool

See! (This has been mentioned sevral times by... lots of people) We have alll the skills required here on Chorrol.com to create our own game instead of sitting around and ******** about Bethsada betraying our interests!

Yeah we could make our own game... and by the way I realy dont want to make other people feel like I'm forcing them to draw my fan fic characters or anyone else's... so I'm going to wait to see if they volunteer themselfs... and if no one volunteers than I will ask neela... or geo... they are both very talented

My skills range from play-testing to QA, so I'm on board.

Anyways... for the meanwhile... until more people start voluntering from the kidness of their hearts... we have to think how are we going to do this?... are we going to pare up a writer with an artist... or just discuss stuff and hopefuly inspire some of them to draw some characters... or maybe we will just throw back ideas back and foward... I guess everything will unfold with time... hopefuly not that much time...

I can do writing... Yeah! I WILL do writing! Maybe if we give Bethsada enough compitition they'll make thier next game more like Morrowind... The full and complex world of mystery and fate!

I guess I'll be a writer too... since I'm already a somewhat decent one... and now we just have to wait for some artist to start to show up... do you think we should pm people to see if they want participate?... I guess we will wait for another day or two...

I can do artwork, not as good as Geonox - mind you - but you know what I would be very willing to try? I'd like to find out more about this Poser program that Neela or Kayla uses. Sorry, can't remember who it was. I did sign up at that site but didn't do anything there yet.

If not that, I could do some freehand in Paint ... I cannot offer watercolors or pastel drawings right now cause my scanner isn't hooked up.

Hey... how about we called this... PROJECT PELIGRO... Peligro means danger in spanish... I always wanted to use it... because I think it sounds cool...

What my original thoughts were for it to be some sort or cross between the Fan Fic section of this site with the Fan Art senction... but I guess it might be growing a bit larger than that...

Races?... like dunmer and such... I say all of them...

And for the rest I realy dont know... I would be very helpful if everyone participating will list down their responses to DarkHunter's questions...

By the way... I vote for Project Peligro for the name... that sounds so freaking cool...

They're all Bethesda copyrighted...

Although we could use other names:

Dunmer/Dark Elves= Drow/Dark elves (I know you know this but I'm listing)
Altmer/High Elves = Eldar/ High Elves (Warhammer 40k I know, but it's used in Tolkien too.)
Bosmer/Wood Elves= ...../Wood Elves (Can't think of anything)
Orcs= Orcs (no, really?)
Various Humans= Other Various Humans

And we can't really use the fan fiction/art because it's all Morrowind & Oblivion...
Copyright also decided how much Lore we use from Bethesda...

This definitely does not belong in Fan Art anymore. If you are seriously thinking about creating a game of your own I'd recommend that you sit down, take a deep breath and give it a good thought. I'm not saying that it'd be impossible for you, just that you need to know what exactly is required. Having an idea is good and all, but that's all it is. An idea. You both seem to consider yourself ready to do some writing for the project. I'd say you should discuss it with each other via PMs, see what you can come up with and make a rough draft for the project. Then, at that point, you can start looking for people that are ready to help you with stuff besides the plot. Programming, art, design. All that.

But for now, this is not the place for this. I won't stop you from making a new topic (one that starts out as what it is, a game project) in the right section, but I strongly recommend that you give this a whole lot more thought first.
