Ok, its driving me nuts. There is a small vial that can apparently be picked up in Oblivion Gates. It's Called "Blood Potion" It weighs nothing, and is worth nothing. Now I've yet to encounter another one, and, no, it is;nt in the random loot thingys.

Its RIGHT THERE in the middle of the outside walkways, lying on the ground.

I thought maybe it had something to do with the Vampire Quest. No Go.

It's probably just one of those things designed to make you post things like this, but if its not, please let me know.

I have seen vials of blood during a mission underground (hell lots of them too)belonging to a *recently deceased* vampire. It has indeed no value and my guess is then if you choose to play a "porphyric hemophilia" infected char. (in other words a vampire) you can propably use the bottles instead of finding a victim to snack on...Thus making it safer for you (guards can come after you if you bite someone) and easier, since you don't need to look for a sleeping victim. Not 100% sure though because i am not playing a vampire.

Anyone that can confirm this?

Sounds plausible. I also think I saw a mod somewhere that enabled you unlimited access to those bottles of human blood you find scattered around. This was for those who played as vampires and didn't feel like sneaking up on people biting their necks, if I remember correctly.

There is indeed such a mod,as well some other pretty neat mods to make life easier for the vampire types...well...make LIFE easier isn't really correct is it?They aren't alive they are just...not dead?Or am i wrong?
Anyway there is a mod which ceates a vampire meeting place in the sewers under Imperial City where you can buy /sell anything you wish, feed on an uncontious cow t satisfy your thirst etc.
Try wikipedia if vampire charachters are interested.
Because i read that mod's info i think that blood vials are for that use.
