Oblivion is full of people or creatures who just really... hate themselves. I learned that first hand when I killed this bodyguards master in one of the Dark Brotherhood quests. For a couple of days he all grumpy and sad but after a week or so something funny happens. I was riding on my horse one day and I look up to see this cliff and on the edge is the bodyguard, prepared to jump. I just soot dhtere staring and when he fell I looted his body. I also saw a deer drown in a lake once, weird. Post your suicdile moments wheather it was you or someone else in the game.

One enemy ran straight into his own trap whilst trying to catch me... the giant mace hit him full on in the face and killed him. Silly person.

Another followed me underwater whilst trying to kill me. I cast a water breathing spell and swam deeper. He followed. The next time I turned around to take a look at where he was he was beginning to float up to the surface...

I had my own suicide when I ran into a room full of high level vampires wearing prison clothing and weilding an iron dagger. Why? I have no idea... I probably thought it would be amusing at the time. To say I got decimated would be an understatement...

I thought it was funny in the first dungeon when the goblin came running at me and the mace traps went off, the goblin came flying at me and hit me It was funny.

This is all very intersting, unfortunatly I don't have Oblivion so...

I had one related to this. Sneaking invisible through an Aylied ruin I positioned myself so that one of those traps where a section of the floor lifts up into spikes in the ceiling were between me and 3 enemies. I think it was a Spriggan and two Minotaurs. When the invisibility wore off they all leaped at me and got slammed into the spikes in the ceiling...

Well, for a dark brotherhood quest I had to kill the guy who is allergic to mead. As soon as I got the quest, it said I won. So he killled himself then.

I watched a whole mess of people from skingrad and anvil on two separate occasions commit suicide by attacking ghosts that were plaguing the city with mortal weapons. I had to console resurrect quite a few important NPCs.

Heh, I also remember for a daedric quest I had to free ogres, and all the guards were acting like they were about to kill me, but I was in sneak mode so once they said "Here's your last breath" or wahtever, they just stood there, and I left, enjoyed myself for a bit, and the enxt time I played I was in Chorrol, and all the guards were acting like there was ane enemy nearby they couldn't see. I thought there was some bug, but found all the guards had entered the city, looking for me! There was a big kick boat battle, and plenty of good loot.

wow this topic is really to close to home. 3 people in my family have commited suicide.

I feel sorry for you.

Although my father killed himself, but I dont take offense. I also dont take offense any time the word car crash is mentioned, as my step dad died in one a few years back. I completely understand why you would feel that way, but I think its best not to let it get to you.

Anyway, I apologize for turning this into a temporary "list your misfortunes thread", on topic.

While technically it wasnt my intention to kill myself, I was out to kill my horse. Cliff jumping was my choice. Thats how I learned that jumping of a cliff kills you along with your mount......

i enjot making people kill themselves, and the AI is stupid enough to trigger thier own traps. On of the most hilarious things i did was grab a trap that had already triggered as a guy was running at me (it was one of those spiked maces) and hit the guy. This sometimes kills the people. I this instance he flew 20 feet in the air until he smashed into a staircase

I find it endlessly funny to run downhill away from wolves and mountain lions and watch them leap to their dooms as they try to attack me. I think causing bad guys to drown themselves is the funniest, though!
