umm well i couldn't see the trailer because you have to be a member sooooo ya. Halo...... one of the funnest games i have ever played, i have halo 2 for xbox live right now and i still play it. it's not as good as morrowind or oblivion but... almost.

Am I to understand that Halo 2 & 3 are only for Xbox?

halo 2 is supposedly to come out on PC but who knows when. and halo 3 is set for xbox 360.

I checked out the video, I'm a halo fan. I played the first two and couldn't get enough, one thing I didn't like was the removal of the assault rifle which by the looks of this video they plan to bring back...I'm hoping.

I hope this one is a closer match to the first halo, I played it for over a year (with partners) because it wasn't so good playing alone.

Halo has too much fanboyism to me. Its not a bad game, but for like a month all it was in half the xbox community was "OMG HALOZORZ" and it drove me crazy..
Some of my friends irl are still like that about Halo 2

I always found FPS really boring, however I do enjoy halo even though I hardly ever play it. It is good for playing when drunk or entertaining drunk people.

Hahahaha ... I gave up entertaining drunk people when I no longer get tips from them. Otherwise, you have to treat them all like giant, very loud children.

Halo is a fun game to play when you have lots of people around that are fairly good at it, makes it a challenge...or if you're just drunk I suppose it can be a challenge as well.

One can create something unique and unfun. Halo's unique wasn't unique, however it was extremely fun. For me, at least.

I'm looking forward to Halo 3. It looks to be very cool, based on both the trailer and where the storyline's been going. It'll prove interesting, at least.

lol! Well Pushtrak, I was a cocktail waitress for a number of years and you don't talk to a cocktail waitress about drunk people without getting an honest reaction. Because, while they are drunk off their @sses, living it up, having a great time - we are the ones who are sober and seriously have to deal with all their shenanigans. That might be fun with one drunk, but fill a whole room with them and be the one sober person, and see how you feel about it. .... but hey, it was a living!

I meant it in a funny way, not to insult anyone. I used to get drunk too ... just not in public restaurants. With my friends at home.

Halo Combat Evolved was a pretty good game, overhyped but fun to play. Halo 2 was a joke, single player was WAY too short and easy even on legendary. Let's not even talk about the ending. Online is unbalanced, way too much auto aim, magnetic bullets, and large hitboxes. They took all the skill right out of the game. Let's just hope Halo 3 is more like Halo then Halo 2.

Halo was probably the best shooter game I have ever played, but why? I can only stir up so many reasons from the depths of my mind and have concluded that its uniqueness and emotional storyline were key concepts. Also, the unbalanced multiplayer was almost addictive. When Halo was released, everything was new! The marines has bestowed one of the most original uniforms, in my opinion, and the campaign was just exhilarating.

Halo 2 became worse... the marines looked more like today's marines... the weapons were more like today's weapons (SMG) and well.. the campaign was pretty much just "slaughter the enemy" and no real missions or anything interesting. Multiplayer was great, some say even better than halo 2, but the overabundance of useless or balanced weapons made it hard to follow up. I, myself, play halo 2 online and I have seen more toddlers play it than people of the correct age! I mean, I am only 14 but the way these children act... cursing and profanity.. really demolishes the xbox live halo 2 community.

Halo 3 looks like a eye-candy game to me, probably even worse than halo 2. I'll probably buy it though because I've been a loyal fan so far (as in purchasing the games, maybe not in opinions).

I've always liked Halo, it's just a really fun game that I can kill some time with when I'm at my brother's house. I don't oiwn an Xbox or a 360 but I am looking forward to Halo 3. Not a fanboy or anything, just a casual fan.

I like Halo, I don't play it that much at all (I don't have a Xbox) but whenever I go over to my friends house we play Halo most of the time via xbox live, its fun yellin at the people (the random conversations, not the ones with insults left and right)

If you ever hear a conversation where the guy says "Hey, let's all have showers after the game" that's my buddy.

It's basically our tradition that on every half-day of school my buddy and I have lunch at Harvey's then play Halo 2 on X-box Live. Good times all the time. Though I personally think I'm the better Halo player, just inconsistant at times

Well, I liked Halo, but I prefer Halo 2. Kind of like how I perfer Oblivion to Morrowind (I'm sorry if I just angered any Morrowind lovers).

The battle rifle is alright with me, and so is the assualt rifle. But the SMG filled its spot well in my opinion. And I only play heroic on Outskirts and Metropolis, and even then I might get owned by some Jackal sniper or Elite. I only wish you could use a fuel rod gun in multiplayer (yes, I know you can use it in the PC version of Halo 1). And I thought the ending was pretty good (better than the Halo ending). I *do* miss the original pistol though.

Halo 3 looks promising, and I hope you can get to use more vehicles and new weapons. So I'm looking forward to 2007 (and Mass Effect).

My mother got Halo 3 for me at christmas. Great game!

Halo 3 is great fun, and the story was waaaay better than that of 2, thankfully. I haven't beaten it on Legendary yet..... I'm on "Cortana" and must have died at least 200 times or more in the levels precedings that, cumulative, to get that far. Stinking Jackal snipers..... and Brutes in general XD

Yeah, Halo 3 is better than Halo 2. I haven't worried about legendary so much, heroic was enough for me for now. Any of you guys have Live?

Okay I have live now but my router isn't xbox 360 compatible so I think I'm getting a Linksys instead. My gamertag is Kethaka. I can send messages and invites but I can't play online.

I'm Wanderer101, even if I had the desire to change my tag after three years I don't think 800 microsoft points (I think that's what it is) is worth changing your name. The game I have that I play live on are Halo 3 and Ace Combat 6 (I don't play turok on live enough to list it with the former two).
