Does the tower entrance show up on the map?

Are you looking to enter a leaning tower inside the Obivion gate? If so then dont bother, I think those are just for scenery. Give it the more "hellish" look, you know. If that isnt what youre looking Im sorry, but I just woke up and Im having trouble understanding what youre looking for.

Hatreds Soul Arrow - 00014EB3, 0.2 weight, 19 damage.
Hatreds Heart Mace has same damage as bow.
Hatreds Soul - 00014D6A, 12 weight, 23 damage, 35 fire damage, Drain Speed 30 for 45 sec, 15 uses.

Hatreds Soul is the best bow in the game (high damage, low weight) and you can ONLY get it in the leaning tower inside the Chorrol Oblivian Gate. Once you close this gate, you've lost the opertunity.

The door to the tower does not show up on your map. Go north of the leaning tower over a fallen wall to an island with a lava pool. You do not have to cross any lava to get there. Walk out to the north end as far as posible and look for a door that is just above the lava. Use the TCL command to fly arround till you find it.

Archers can add another bow to their collection.

I just tried to search the area around Chorrol, and there is no gate. I then looked at a map to verify it, and the map shows several Oblivion gates around Chorrol. Why aren't they in my game?

There are lots of other Oblivion gates in my game, but so far I've only been into one (Kvatch). Will there perhaps spawn more gates if I enter more?

I'm level 22 or something, and I've done most quests, but on the main quest I'm at the point where I should go to that cave and take the Amulet of Kings from Mankar (or what he's called). Perhaps more gates appear as I progress with the main plot?

Btw, there isn't a gate near Cheydinhal either, while in my first game there was one close to the Knights of the Thorn lodge, and I did that quest with the Count's son there.

Hope I don't have a bugged game...

It appears during the aid for mbruma quest. Thats like 2 or 3 quests later.

Ah, so gates do appear more and more as you progress in the main plot? I thought they all appeared right from the beginning of the game, as that is what I've read elsewhere.

I've finished that Mankar quest now, so I guess I'll have to do a few more main quests to get that bow then.

Um, if the gates are closed before the quest, its a bit of a storyline problem... Except that dark brotherhood guy who died before I killed him.

Ok the Chorrol gate has appeared now, and I've roamed Oblivion for a while looking for that Hatreds Bow. I can't find any entrance to that leaning tower either. Any tips on where it is?

So xbox people cant get it?

Is there any reason it should not be available in the xbox version? Aren't the games indentical? You'll have to search quite far to the north of the tower, or actually NNW.

Yes they can. Ive saw this thread and am playing it on an XBox 360. You dont have to levitate to get it, just keep looking, and it doesnt hurt to have decent acrobatics and health potion in case you fall in the lava.

I have the Bow as we speak, and the arrows and Mace are in my display case in Rosethorn Hall. I considered selling them, but then I figured that theyre unique enough to keep.
