I'd really like to know which mods to pay for (from Bethsada) when i finally get around to buying Oblivion, I haven't got it

I have heard people rave more about the wizard's tower than the horse armor and those are the only two I've heard mention of. But I am not into buying additional mods.

huh... looking through those... its not all that immpresive considering the game has been out 4+ months... next year (after programming classes) I'm going to make one to sweep the rest away

So the game is not out for ''4+'' months.

Anyway,i have all three,and i can tell that Wizard's Tower is the only thing that's actualy worth.Mostly because of magic altars in it (summoning,enchanting and spellmaking).The tower decoration could be better,but it's nice this way too.

Yeah alexander did rant a bit excessively about the decoration, but it's good to get all the short falls out of the way. I was planning on making a solitary mage anyway and didn't want to go the mages guild all over again.

Download Mountain Tower by Sage Rime.I'm sure you'll love it if you wan't to be a lone mage.The tower even has a Solitude Chamber
This tower can seriusly compete with Frostag Spire,especialy when version 3.0 comes out......It's locaed in Pale Pass,so the only neighbours you will have are Ogres.Don't worry about going there,there is a teleport spell for it

Interesting Mods, I might get them all, minus the horse armour cause it seems useless.

Horse armore "looks cool" and adds 250 hp to your horse... go to Chorrol.com mainsite, stargalman wrote some pretty good reviews... I for one am NEVER going to pay for a mod.... even if one IS worth it, a few months later, the mod community will come out with something just as good....

Besides, so many awesome free mods...

Teagals extra robes (the elvan one is SWEET!!) and another guy (sorry guy) made gloves to go with them... Some of them dont work for me, but the elvan one does, looks SWEET!! And saves us Robed Wizards from missing out on YET ANOTHER enchanted piece... GAWD I cant wait till/when/if SOMEONE fixes this clothing and armor issue....

We should be able to wear robes over armor.... Maybe not quite like Morrowind, where you could wear pants, greaves, shirt, armor, robe, helm and well.... ALL OF IT, but you should AT LEAST get robes over armor.... seriously....

Yeah, anyway... um, there is a VERY GOOD (and balanced) Daedric Katana out there... um...what else... (thinking)

I have one that levels up my quest rewards, since I hate having to worry about completing a quest "too soon", but that is personal preferance...

Also waiting for VvardenfelOnlines Vvardenfell mod. Also, some group is doing Morrowind (the island) as well, so maybe that will be neat. Soon I am sure we will start to see a bunch of mods for the various other countries. I think if Bethesda did mods like THAT, as expansions or as mods, I would buy those... I hate those "You cant go any further, turn back" things.... so someday the world maybe can get filled out some....

As for buying mods, I dont even like the idea of charging PC gamers for mods... They only do it because of the Xbox.... and so far, they are pretty worthless anyway....
