Whenever I attempt to add a picture to my signiture, it says "user poster image" and wont post the image. Is this because im not allowed to do it or what?

when you're in your signature control section, make sure to use the correct code to display the picture;



and it should display properly. Now if you're however trying to get a personal picture online, that's not possible as members don't have that authorisation.

And just as a reminder, there's a maximum size for signature images.

Max width: 400 pixels
Max height: 150 pixels
Max filesize: 350 KB

Images bigger than this will be removed or changed into links.
