Hey im just doing the quest at bruma. So it told me to go to investaget. but the guild told me i cant unless im a guard or somebody. So where do i go from there?
ALso where is the fastest place to get bear pelts.
Full Version: A Brotherhood Betrayed Quest
Im not sure what the problem with your quest is. Maybe you should go to the crime scene and persuade the ranking officer guy there. Once he likes you enough hell give you more details to carry on with the quest. I think he needs to be around the magic 70, well at least thats always where I stop.
Im not sure what you meant by "the guild". But like I said above, I think if you loosen the guard up a little it should carry on from there. And about the bear pelts, most traders carry 5 or 6 each. Some Armorers do too. Its not cheap, but it beats the hell out of bear hunting. Like I mentioned before, between the trader in hackdirt, in Chorrol northern goods and trade and fire and steel I got around 16 bear pelts.

What quest in bruma are you talking about exactly ?

Oh that one, you need to talk with the guy's wife, then talk to the guard, and then play detective. Y
ou might need to pursuade the head guard and the guy's wife though, just play with the minigame, increase your skills.

Ok, anyway, not sure what you are looking for Bear Pelts for, but you can find one I think in the Cheydinhal Fighters guild upstairs just laying out... you can either steal it or join the guild, and then its free...
As for the "brotherhood betrayed", yes, talk to the guys wife, she will tell you some stuff... and what to do, and as usual, your journal will damn near explain the whole thing to you... (hint: persuade Olav after the wife....)
