I have read that there are Vampire Hunters abound in the Imperial City (Order of the Virtous Blood or something?) yet I have not been able to find anyone at all to talk about it... Are there any pointers? I have been hunting vampires for so long freelance I rather wish to organise it a tad better. :-p

all I can say is hold onto your vampire dust, don't sell it yet. You have to wait till they approach you, you can't find them. I mean you can find them but they'll act like regular NPCs until they find you. Just try to gain a little fame.
EDIT: Also, there is no organization involved, it's just another little group to add to your belt and another perk or two.

And to speed things up, become arch mage and duplicate the vampire dust instead of hunting.

I bet you could buy plenty of ingredients that have the frost damage effect and cost under 250 gold, so I think you got a good deal.

You can find Vampires (hostile) in caves and fort (abandoned), like Fort Redman which is south of the mouth of the panther. Bring Cure Disease potions, for being a vampire is not as fun as it seems. Thats from expirience. it makes you face look weird and the sun hurts, with out any real bonuses

I have a vampire character myself in another game and it is rather fun. Quite exciting when caught out in the wilderness with dawn aproaching. :-p
As for the last question. I am afraid not, no. Although some NPCs may not speak to you.

some/all! Goddamit it's so annoying, then the vampires charm does nothing. So I attempt to get healed - but the quest is bugged! So I had to add the cure potion in the console.

Well if you did want to live as one of the undead ones you could simply feed when you want to look somewhat normal and interact with the population of towns. However, I think I have turned my own thread offtopic. :-p

Just black, don't become vampire, make sure to cure it, goody tooshies archer guy is a good character to keep up, and not join the dakr side, because it's definitely a different experience you might want to have. I'm pretty far on my skooma addict fire mage master of hand-to-hand (he's is a wizard for hire, his specialties for hire are vampires and trolls but he can do anything) So it's a really cool stance for immersion, like my Wizard for Hire made it totally feel like a new game because I added my side of the voice, my characters ambitiona being an actual occupation, and the standard model of his occuptation is he's told to do something, and does it, expecting a little reward afterwards. It's super cool, because it's different than anything I ever played before.
Happy 420, peace.

Well I already have a "bad" character on the go. So I am fine with using this character to complete the main quest.
