idk
Today... I just dont feel like playing Oblvion. sad.gif

What can I do to get myself to want to play!?

I think it might have to do with not knowing what to do with my character. I just closed some obby gate that i found in the woods. and went back to the main city to think of something to do. I started to progress the story a bit more but I'm at a slow part. And I dont feel leik progressing in my thieves guild quests.

I just dont know what I want to do in the game. >.>

HELP!
Black_Waltz
This game definitly does tend to start losing your intrest after awhile. I think it is something to do with some of the changes from Morrowind. Level scaling and such. Still a fun game just a bit more... Dificult to stay intrested.

My advice would be to go do something else. Play some Civilization IV and then come back to it in a few days. I'm taking a break myself now.

None of those apply to me tongue.gif I never played Morrowind. Its not really losing my interest. I'm bored in a sense but thats only due to the part of the story I'm in. I want to play and go further but right now I'm just at a loss on what to do.

And I dont have Civ IV to play. tongue.gif I guess I could play some Empire at War or Age of Empires for a change of scene. Although I do need to get Civ IV <_<

hmmm.....

You should try Morrowind. :-p

Hmmm... Then I may suggest going to explore some Alyeid ruins? Vampire hunting can be a good cure for boredom with some good loot too..
idk
Well I did just find another gate to oblivion I could close. somehow everytime I run out into the wilderness I find one. The first time I decided to wander aimlessly through the forests I walked right up to one. this time I stole a guards horse for fun. and while running from him I ran into another gate. blink.gif

So I could do that or maybe go vampire hunting. Hmm... I guess I am not THAT bored afterall. tongue.gif

Yeah, there's a ton to do all the time, you could apply for the fighters guild, mages guild, dark brotherhood, arena, you could go raid a few dungeons (just track down random caves and aleid ruins) you could ask around at town and get a side quest or two, there's definitely a lot possible.

Yeh, Morrowind Oblivion is NOT!!! I do get a longing for the days of Morrowind sometimes when playing Oblivion. There is a lot to like about Obliv but there just feels like a lot missing too. blink.gif

Morrowind got waay more boring for me once i'd finished the main quest, so this time i'm not touching it biggrin.gif I haven't even been to see that guy with the amulet laugh.gif
I can highly reccomend the Dark Brotherhood quests for getting rid of boredom though, make sure you try to sneak through them smile.gif

I definetly agree with you there. Morrowind (to me) was a whole different experience of immersion (and I'll be the first to admit that I liked it more than Oblivions immersion experience tongue.gif)

Yeah in some ways oblivion feels less immersive, because you felt like a little fish in a huge bowl. I think it's due in part to fast travel, but Oblivion's quests are way better.
