Hope u will like this one, I've enjoyed the time I've written this part thought. Done some research on the Great Houses... Enjoy!Battle of the Great Houses
The Telvanni Amulet
Chapter IMeczoth stepped up the little stair right in front of the big, wooden round door. The nice pattern on the door going as circles around the end and in the middle it was a pattern that looked very much like a Telvanni Wizard. The rain fell down on Meczoth armor as he stood outside, the little lantern on the right side hanging on the wall lighted up his golden looking armor. The Dunmer took of his helmet and hooking it to the belt, before slowly and gentle taking of his gauntlets and putting them inside his helmet. Meczoth looked back out on the streets of Sadrith Mora was almost empty, only the bright light from the lanterns the Telvanni Guards was patrolling around in the dark streets, their armor totally wet after it had rained here soon two days. The two moons rising over all mountains, brining some natural light down. Meczoth dragged his hair back, he open the door slowly into the Telvanni Agent’s Council. It was dark; a few lanterns only revealed a huge round room around the walls stood the other Telvanni Agent’s they where armored and the light only showing their upper body and their faces was hard to see. In the middle stood Arvel Fyrzoth, who was the Telvanni Agent Master. He took orders from Master Neloth of the Telvanni Councilors. Meczoth stepped in to the warm room, the feeling felt quiet tense and people where quiet. They only looked at Meczoth as an outsider as he went to a chair, taking of his golden spear, scimitar and bow. Leaning them up to the back of the chair, he stood on the side waiting for the meeting to start.
Arvel took his hands down signaling they could sit. Arvel was a nice and friendly person that Meczoth knew; he was one of the biggest and strongest Dunmer’s he had ever seen. He had trained Meczoth as he was brought into the Telvanni in the early years after his birth. They had ventured out on daring missions always succeeding, but it usually came at a price that Meczoth didn’t like and made him leave of to the more quiet Telvanni work he could get on the mainland of Morrowind. Arvel was soon becoming old, but that didn’t show much when he was fighting. His face had its signs of a life of combat with scars and tattoo’s of the Dunmer Gods and he had the common Mohawk dark red hair. He stood there a while, looking on Meczoth before starting talking.
He waved his hands as he was talking about the Telvanni Agent’s who where killed outside Ald’Ruhn, he was a charismatic leader and people leaned forward in the chairs listening to him speak. Meczoth didn’t know the details; he had just been called in from the mainland by the Archmagister of Telvanni. He started to get more and more details; it was more about revenge after hearing Arvel talk for soon an hour. A couple of Telvanni Agent’s had been doing some research on Redoran as they where in Ald’Ruhn. But after they had been there some days they had been brutally murdered in their house there, and how Arvel pointed out how the Telvanni Agent’s didn’t show any signs of aggression to the Redoran or spying. This was about revenge showing the Redoran to be more careful.
They needed to pay for what they have done. The aggression Arvel was spreading started to fill the room as the meeting neared its end. Arvel was superlative as he spoke out in the end of the meeting all the Telvanni Agent’s getting ready to kill those Redoran Agent’s. In the end the entire agent’s stepped up, they took on their helmets and weapons, some going up to Arvel having a little talk about the mission. Arvel tried to make the more confused ones, who thought this was wrong feel more aggressive to the Redoran, talking out about all they and the House of Hlaalu had done over the years. Meczoth stood at the door, while the others going out. Greeting Meczoth for his return to Vvardenfell, some was quite nice and others not knowing that Meczoth would take charge of the agent’s in Ald’Ruhn.
As all had left Arvel came up to Meczoth, clapping him on the shoulders. He looked down at the Dunmer giving of a smile.
“
It’s nice that you have returned to use Meczoth, I have been missing an experienced leader since the fall of Jaaz and Sendora in Ald’Ruhn, and they had done such a great job while you were on the mainland”
“
Well it has been hard work down there, even making it harder when I hear about the deaths of Jaaz and Sendora” Meczoth admitted, looking down on the floor as Arvel walked him around in the room. Arvel stepped up to the north wall watching the nice artwork of Telvanni Wizards and Dunmer Gods as he had his back against Meczoth.
“
It seems that… That the Redoran has been recruiting new warriors, new agents that once have been great adventurers I guess. Giving them loads of gold and equipment to stand up against us and Hlaalu. And as more of us have fallen now as the Houses are more aggressive then I’ve ever seen it looks like the Redoran has the advantage here” Arvel admitted, his voice almost breaking like he was talking about the end of Telvanni, and maybe it was.
“
But you can, you should leave now Meczoth. I don’t want any troubles now, you are the only one I see that have the power to kill these Redoran murderers” Arvel said giving Meczoth signs to dress up and take his weapons and leave for the boat.
Meczoth took his spear and scimitar and strapped them on his back as he hooked a short bow on his belt by his arrows. He took on the gauntlets and helmet, his face totally disappearing, the entire agent’s had been given a Redoran Armor to blend in as their long journey begins. Meczoth knew it would take some time to get to Ald’Ruhn. He stepped out yet another time in the rain, seeing the agent’s stopping by their home to get their last gear and rations. Meczoth walked down the main street of Sadrith Mora, it was very nice and dark and felt warm even in the rain, and that’s how he wanted Sadrith Mora to be.
It was a calm wind as Meczoth noticed as he stepped on to the wet deck of the boat. The boat was first leaving for Vos, and then they needed to walk to Tel Vos. And from there they need to go by the north shore until they cut in down at The Ashlands and down to Ald’Ruhn. Long journey and they all knew it, filled with potential danger to their mission. Meczoth though of this while sitting down totally in front of the boat, by a torch. He looked out into the sea, covered with small islands and the moon shining up the water. By the time more and more entered the boat, Meczoth talked to some of them as the boat started sailing through the Zafirbel Bay, to make a little stop on Tel Aruhn. It was a calm journey.
CODE
It didn’t take much time to pick up Korenthan by Tel Aruhn, he had been delayed due to suspicion by Redoran Agents. I don’t know if it was a good idea to take him here with us, but Arvel said we needed Korenthan and his experience with the Redoran people. The agent’s seem quite calm and stay mostly quiet as we are nearing Tel Vos. I’ve thought little about our mission, the feeling of beeing back is strange, and I still think much about my friends on the mainland. But of course I’ve sometimes thought of Jaaz and Sendora and I don’t get it out of my mind, how Arvel talked about how the Redoran getting stronger and stronger. I’ve talked to the agent’s a little about their background as many of them have been recruited as I’ve been away. I can see Vos now; this is the final stop before our long journey across the north starts.
-Meczoth’s Journal
Meczoth stepped of the boat on to Vos; they were greeted by a few Telvanni Wizards. The sun was soon to come up and already the sky was turned orange. Meczoth looked around as the agent’s stepped of the boat and started walking into Vos. Vos was a city it had been quite a time seen Meczoth had seen, but still in the deepest memory he knew it like he had been there yesterday.
“
Hey, wait! I want all of you to meet outside the north entrance of Tel Vos by midday. Then all your gear and equipment needs to be ready because I don’t want to be delayed again” Meczoth demanded as he spoke out to the Telvanni Agent’s. Most of them nodded, and went on.
Meczoth started walking into the town as he was joined by one of the Telvanni Agent’s, young and handsome Dunmer.
“
So? Think we have any chance Meczoth, considering how they killed Jeez and Sendora. I mean that, it seems so mysterious how without any warning they just get killed” the Dunmer said.
“
There is no reason to worry, there are several elements that can have given the Redoran Agent’s an advantage in that fight” Meczoth said, not trying to scare the young Dunmer. It looked like he never had been in such a fight before, and was quite intimidated. It was very easy to see it in his eyes as he stared at Meczoth as he talked. He was almost stuttering, but trying to look tough enough for Meczoth.
“
Could it have been a traitor?” The Dunmer asked, looking very curious on Meczoth, who looked more surprised of that question.
“
Don’t doubt Telvanni young Dunmer, I’m sure no one here would turn against us. I have faith to Telvanni, and so does the others” he paused. “
So don’t worry about this anymore, go off and get ready. Sleep or eat or help the others, I’ve got to talk to someone” Meczoth said before going fast into Vos. Meczoth had just lied, knowing that not all are faithful to Telvanni and that was what in a way pleased him and scared him. Because it would make it little possible the Redoran is getting stronger, but it would also set these lives in a great danger if they where killed or captured.
Meczoth knew this as he walked off into the town settling down inside the local tavern and rested.
He got a brandy as he sat down on an empty table, right next to some of the Telvanni Agent’s. Meczoth opened his pouch and took up a letter. He rested his head on his hand as he looked down on the letter he got when he was called in, it stood who was killed in Ald’Ruhn. No one had survived and that meant if there was a traitor he most has been within close contact with the council, one like Arvel. Meczoth denied the thought and shaked his head before he took a sip from the brandy taking down the letter in a hurry.
The Meczoth felt a hand on his shoulder; he grabbed it and twisted around as he looked on who it was. He saw it was one of the Telvanni Agents. Meczoth let go of his hand.
“
Sorry there, I’m very used to get touched on the shoulder before someone tries to stab me with a blade or choke me…” Meczoth said humours, almost a little embarraseed as the Telvanni Agent took of her helmet and sat down beside him.
“
Hmm… I most agree with you Meczoth, I think there’s something weird. About these Redoran Agent’s taking down one of our best people. I…” she was interrupted by Meczoth
“
Don’t think about it! It’s my concern and let it wait, lets see if we can do it in another way then to kill them. Everybody is talking about it, it wasn’t our time there but this is!” Meczoth demanded trying to lighten the spirit of the Dunmer woman.
Meczoth was tired; he was tired of how everybody was so confused with a couple of agent’s deaths. And that they were good only mean that Redoran have better, Meczoth tried to understand that it was two ways – Either in laying a ambush on the Redoran Agent’s or finding out if there were anything helping then, like information or a traitor. When he thought of that he closed his eyes, he didn’t know how the war between the Great Houses had changed since he was gone.

“
Looks like everyone is here, well I guess its time for us to leave for The Ashlands then” Meczoth said as they Telvanni Agent’s had gathered around the north gate.
Everyone was there, so Meczoth sat on his helmet and looked down in his sack where he had the Redoran armor, everything seemed to be there. They started walking out of the Grazelands, heading north.
CODE
It has been a long journey here. The agent’s seem quite tired after we have been delayed again after we got attacked outside a ruin. But it proved something, that our men aren’t that bad. We continued across, we are near Maar Gan. But one of our scouts has spotted what looks like a Redoran Camp site at least we won’t take any chances.
-Meczoth Journal
Meczoth went down, close to the ground as he moved fast and shift up to the scout who was on his stomach scanning the camp. Meczoth got up to his side and looking straight forward, he saw five Redoran Agent’s it looked like. They where quite hard to see considering they had their camp not to far from a little cave.
“
Have you seen any more than those five there?” Meczoth whispered as he scanned out from the little hill looking down on the Redoran Agent’s.
“
No. But I can see seven bedrolls there, guess they might have scouts, hunters or someone is reporting back to Ald’Ruhn. But they don’t look ready for a fight” the scout said to Meczoth as had his bow next to him. “
It wouldn’t hurt to kill these scum’s Meczoth, Arvel would be delighted!” he demanded to Meczoth.
“
No! I haven’t seen a Redoran in action yet. We have still no idea if they might be better trained then us” Meczoth paused, thinking over that the Redoran watched the path to Ald’Ruhn, and it would be hard to sneak past them. “
Ok… Then we attack, get our men down here! I want a coordinated attack, I want three guys going right flanking them from behind, while I get two and charge straight in, I want you and those who are left to sneak up right with your bows killing them if they try to retreat to Ald’Ruhn” Meczoth replied as he grabbed his spear and took of his sack, and got his scimitar ready to get drawn for his back.
The scout signaled with his hands where the agent’s should go, the three agent’s sneak down the hill. It was soon sundown giving them some cover of darkness. They got up close almost on the top of the cave, giving them a clear view of the battle ground.
The scout took his men and sneaked down without getting spotted, all of them fine and skilled marksmen. Meczoth waited a little while; he wanted to be sure that all knew what to do. He sent signals to each group if they had spotted any one. But they signaled back, and Meczoth held his spear up close. He leaned over the hill and leaped down running in front as he charged down with his spear pointing out as a lance, shining in the sundown. The Redoran looked quite calm as they could only see three, but as Meczoth was 10 feet from them a volley of arrows came down straight in the camp. The Redoran threw them self back holding out their shields as Meczoth leaped over the fire stabbing his long spear right into the Redoran Agent’s throat. A fountain of blood came out as he moved left against the Redoran Agent who was already armed. Meczoth stabbed hard in but the Redoran block it with his shield. Meczoth tumbled left dropping his spear and going up perfectly taking the Redoran down from his knees with his scimitar before moving back as the second volley of arrows back, but it didn’t come. Meczoth looked up as he could see the agent’s get stabbed down by Redoran Agent’s; the blood ran down the hill as the Redoran Agent’s charged down.
Meczoth signaled the three agents to go in hard on their left flank as he rank to the right. It came five agents so Meczoth was sure they had seen them coming and called for aid. Two Redoran Agent’s sent of arrows against Meczoth, Meczoth threw himself down as the two arrows went right over his head. Meczoth charged into the Redoran slashing to the right blocking the first blow before leaping to the right and stabbing the second one in the face. The first one turned fast before charging with his spear, Meczoth dropped his scimitar and in a second he had his short bow up sending of an arrow straight into the Redoran Agent’s torso, but it didn’t stop him. The stabbed Meczoth in the left side of his stomach piercing his armor brining Meczoth down on his back, the Redoran was about to stab Meczoth in the face right before three Telvanni Agent’s jumped on him brining him to the ground.
“
Check the hills! See if any more comes!” Meczoth cried out as he reached for a healing potion. One agent ran up the hill as Meczoth told, as the other ones came up to Meczoth and the captured Redoran Agent. Meczoth looked into his eyes, as he took of his helmet throwing it down beside the Redoran Agent.
“
Now I’m not going to kill you right away until I get the information I want…” Meczoth said to the Redoran Agent as he walked away to get his bloody spear and scimitar. Both of the enchanted weapons had done well he thought.
“
Who killed our agent’s in Ald’Ruhn scum!” Meczoth said into the Redoran Agent’s face as he stabbed his scimitar slowly into his stomach. Meczoth eyes was bursting in flames, as he was about to cut of the Redoran’s head.
“
I don’t know. But I wish it was me!” the Redoran said into Meczoth face giving of a smile. Meczoth leaning back looked into the Redoran’s face as he was a disgrace to the Dunmer’s – And he was, at least that was what Meczoth and the others felt.
“
Well… In that case, I guess there’s no use for you. But I guess we always can use a slave in Sadrith Mora?” Meczoth asked the Redoran. “
Because we are not going to kill, but the Redoran Council will have you killed, its either them or us where you can stay alive”
Meczoth waited as the Redoran Agent didn’t answer, he looked at the Telvanni Agent on the hill. He signaled back that no one was coming. Meczoth walked back from the Redoran Agent taking with him one of the agents.
“
Search every body, take everything that might be useful and don’t leave anything behind from us. We go back to Sadrith Mora” he paused “T
hey have lost ten agents’ here, we have only lost three and I see that as a far deal” Meczoth admitted, knowing the Gods would take good care of the lost Telvanni Agents.
The Telvanni Agent nodded about to walk away as he turned to Meczoth.
“
What about the captured one?”
“
Blindfold him and we take him back to get tortured in Sadrith Mora until he speaks out. If he doesn’t we send him back here” Meczoth said before moving up to the lost Telvanni Agent’s and took all their stuff before he dragged them back to the Redoran Camp. Meczoth let the dead Redoran Agent’s stay, would be good for the creatures that lurk the night.
“
What should we do with our agents, Meczoth?” One of the Telvanni Agent’s asked Meczoth as he took some journals from the dead agents.
“
Well… We take them home… to Sadrith Mora where they can get a burial” Meczoth said and took the dead scout over his shoulders and started walking, he looked back at the agents giving them a clear sign that they were not leaving anyone behind.
Meczoth walked into the Telvanni Council with Arvel as the councilors was standing on their usual places and wanted an explanation. They looked in a way disappointed at Meczoth as he stepped in with his head looking down, he wasn’t to happy about this knowing they would give him some hard lessons about how they do things.
“
Meczoth, step forward” the Archmagister said. Meczoth stepped into the light – into the middle of the room looking around on the Councilors.
“
You were sent on an important mission, a leader of an important mission. And that was to do what Meczoth?” The Archmagister asked.
“
It was to take my men and travel to Ald’Ruhn to kill the Redoran Agent’s that murdered our agents in Ald’Ruhn” Meczoth admitted.
“
And why didn’t you do that then Meczoth, those agents brutally killed two of our most trusted agents with our other agents” The Archmagister questioned Meczoth looking down on him.
“
We met on a party of five Redoran Agent’s and we knew there was at least seven and that meant that two was gone. So I gave orders to attack, we attack them and near the end of the battle we got ambushed by five more and we lost three and they lost ten. And I thought it was enough as we also had captured one” Meczoth replied as he saw how the Telvanni Agent’s was killed on the hill seeing the blood slowly going down the hill.
“
Meczoth… Your order was to kill those who had done it, not kill ten Redoran Agent’s that didn’t have anything to do with it!” The Archmagister said brutally to Meczoth, only making him lean back.
“
We are not going to punish you Meczoth, but we hope you know that you were responsible for the deaths of those three agents. And that you neither followed orders and you gave the wrong ones” he paused “
But you managed to kill ten of them and capture one, and that is good” He said to Meczoth.
“
I though you would be pleased to know we had killed ten, even as we lost three. And what could we even have found out about the murder of Jaaz and Sendora!? I captured one, and he didn’t tell me anything so I guess those skilled Redoran Agent’s would rather kill themselves then be captured by us!” Meczoth said getting quite aggressive to the council.
“
This is enough Meczoth… I don’t want any big discussion lead by rage, this meeting is over” the Archmagister said calmly.
Meczoth closed his eyes; he was getting more and angrier of this behavior.
“
Discussion led by rage, as far as I know this was about revenge! To teach the Redoran we are not weak by killing their agents. And we killed ten, but on a cost that those who wanted to attack the Redoran fell. And I thought I would manage to get to Ald’Ruhn, but after talking with the one we had captured I doubt we would get any information whether we had the dead bodies of Jaaz and Sendora or if we had captured the guilty…” Meczoth said before he turned against Arvel, he looked into his eyes. Arvel was a good friend, and he knew Arvel wasn’t the one who ordered this mission.
“
I’ve told everything. Now you can do what you want with me, but I wont let the murder on my friends and those agents lost on the mission go un-paid by the Redoran” Meczoth said before he opened the door and going out, trying to control his anger. As he was about to shut the door Master Aryon spoke out…
“
Meczoth… The Redoran won’t let this go un-paid too; they might even sneak into Sadrith Mora to kill the captured one. And for that I doubt they will use recruits, have this one your mind Meczoth” He said to Meczoth, but Meczoth didn’t answer but neither ignored it. He stepped out of the Council Hall and walked out of Sadrith Mora to the little hill and sat down looking out over the ocean, as Arvel came down and sat beside him.

The sun was rising, it was a site Meczoth hadn’t seen a long time. He looked at his scimitar in his hand, the fine edge, full of blood. The blade was strong enchanted and gleamed in a dark red color when it killed, it had been carried by the warriors in Meczoth family for a long time. But it was a rare time when he used it, he kept to his spear that belonged to an ancient saint that had blessed the first father of his family.
“Think they will come after him?” Meczoth said to Arvel as he sat down besides him.
“Would we have done it, risked our lives to not give out information to Redoran?” Arvel asked Meczoth as he looked out at the rising sun.
“I actually don’t know, it would clearly show a sign that Redoran has something very important their hiding that has worth as much as a mans life” Meczoth said, looking into Arvel’s eyes as they were reflecting the sun rise. Arvel looked to the side at Meczoth.
“Has anything worth as much as a life of a person?” Arvel replied. Meczoth didn’t look surprised that Arvel always never answered questions and rather asked him back. It was what he always had done, not answering questions that we might already know.
“As much!? The Redoran Agent’s that killed Jaaz and Sendora haven’t worth nothing!” Meczoth demanded.
“They have… for Redoran” Arvel replied.
Meczoth leaned back into the fresh grass. Looking up to the sky, he thought much about the Redoran for the time. It was weird how he couldn’t keep his mind on anything else.
“Listen Meczoth, the Great Houses will always be and there might come more Houses. But there will always be a silent war because of our believes. The only thing that would make Redoran attack and kill the captured one was if they have already planned an attack on us or wage fulltime war. It also means that our captured one might be easy to break and get information out off…” Arvel said rising up, looking down at Meczoth as he was looking once again on his scimitar.
“You know your scimitar is more powerful then your spear don’t you? Its blade is crafted through old and powerful magic, don’t forget to use it” Arvel said to Meczoth before walking away.
Meczoth knew this, the blade, the sword was a great weapon. But be thought it was cursed, all fathers in his family had fallen by that sword in combat. Meczoth had dedicated himself to the golden spear before he even got the scimitar. He still remembers all the great enemies he has defeated by using the spear. He took up the spear, it was quite long and was totally made up of gold as his scimitar. It had fine runes and small markings of the Dunmer Gods in it. Its black shaped like a flame, Meczoth truly loved it more then anything he possessed.
Next day Meczoth had got a letter from the Telvanni Council. He knew it was about new or the old order to kill the Redoran Agent’s. He stepped into the Council Hall, only seeing the Archmagister walking around with his hands on his back looking up into the air, thinking…
“Greetings Meczoth, nice that you could come. Please take a seat here, we have things to talk about Redoran and Telvanni” Archmagister Gothren said to Meczoth showing him a chair.
“Whats this about?” Meczoth said, he didn’t go to sit down on the chair. He would rather know what this was about.
“You see, you took the journals from all the dead. But something is wrong, its one missing. From the scout, it’s not any of those you gave me. And it’s good that we all know not to write down the most important things in those journals. But the scout, his name was Seath” he paused for a while. “He had an important meeting, in Vivec with one of our agents. And I asked him to write that in his journal before I knew we needed to take the decision of going into Ald’Ruhn” Archmagister Gothren said, looking almost nervous. “I want you to go to Vivec and seek out a man named Jecross, be careful if you ask any. He might have information about our agent’s who were murdered in Ald’Ruhn”
“What? You’re saying that you sent us on a mission where we lost three men and could have lost more when you had a guy in Vivec who could give us that information we were looking for, without even risking combat against Redoran?” Meczoth replied, he was angry now. He knew he was one of the reasons they lost the three agents while attacking the Redoran Agents but this was just stupid he thought.
“It will take you almost a week down and up to secure you’re not beeing followed or anyone even knowing your there” Archmagister Gothren said, Gothren wasn’t quite sure if he really could trust Meczoth here. But due to the risk agents would be there it was either him or Arvel, and Arvel was quite important to question the captured and setting up a new mission.
“But I took all the journals and I killed those who killed Seath…” Meczoth said confused.
“Well I don’t know, but its not here. Maybe you forgot it, but it’s no time to waste now. Lets not take any chances in ignoring this! Go to Vivec and seek out Jecross!” Gothren demanded giving Meczoth the sign to leave for Vivec.
Meczoth went out and to his house; he took his armor out from his chest. He didn’t dress like a Telvanni now and took his old Steel Armor one in his party made for him. It was only for the right arm, chest, stomach and legs. Was a good armor, enchanted and Meczoth had used it many times, leaving some marks from enemies on the fine surface. Meczoth grabbed his sack putting all necessary in it before taking his scimitar and bow with him. He knew it wasn’t smart to take a spear into the small and tight rooms of Vivec; he had no chance to attack or defend himself. Meczoth stepped out to be escorted by a guard down to the docks where he walked in to the wet boat before it raised its sails and disappeared out in the morning mist.
And that was the end of Chapter I

Here's just a little text so I can build up some exitment... :lickinglips:
Chapter II
The boat slowly glided between the sharp rocks as it came closer to Tel Branora. It soon appeared a city quite like Tel Vos or Sadrith Mora, but smaller. Meczoth leaned forward and scanned out as the boat approached the docks sliding perfectly in before Meczoth threw his sack over his shoulder and jumped down. He turned back as the skipper sat down on one knee on the end of the boat handing Meczoth a lantern. Meczoth nodded before taking off into the dark city. He could see a little Inn right next to the shore. He walked into the littler tavern, it was empty, only the owner was walking around cleaning. It was almost like a little house and felt warm as Meczoth walked up to the owner.
“Hello there, I was wondering if you have any rooms available for only one night?” Meczoth asked as he rested – leaning on a table.
He nodded and just gave Meczoth a key, Meczoth looked a little surprised by didn’t mind. He walked up the small stairs onto the next floor, there were only three rooms and he fast found one where the key fitted. He walked in to the room, it was quite dusty but the window was open and fire in the fireplace. He threw the sack down at the chest in front of the bed before looking out the little window out against Bal Fel, but of course it was to far for his range of sight. He sat down on the bed, there was no real point in staying a wake when he was off again tomorrow he thought and soon went to sleep.
But then it appeared a Dunmer in the window, he swiftly leaped in landing without a noise. He sneaked around on to Meczoth left side as two more came through the window, they slowly sneak up to Meczoth, one drawing a dagger. Without any hesitation they jumped onto Meczoth grabbing his arms and leaning over him holding him down to the bed.
Meczoth panicked as he could see the sharp dagger closing in against his throat, he wasn’t afraid of death. But he could clearly see the liquid on the blade gleaming from the fire in the fireplace. He got his arms clear before blocking the attack locking the dagger trying to flip the assassin over. But he didn’t have a chance as the two others held him down. Suddently one fist hit him right in the face almost knocking him out; the blood ran from his mouth as his head leaned to the left. He pulled himself back before lunging in and hitting the assassin in the face with his head, knocking him back and made Meczoth bleed from the nose before grabbing the dagger and leaped forward landing and tumbled and smoothly got up facing the assassins.
The first one charged with his dagger high over his head, Meczoth went up with his left arm blocking the attack before stabbing the dagger up the assassins throat, making a nasty hole in his windpipe before tumbling to his right and threw the dagger in the assassins back, but right after he was tripped and the two assassin jumped on him holding him down as they got up a second dagger slowly going against his hearth. Meczoth tried to resist, but the dagger came closer and slowly penetrated his armor and slowly and painful went into his skin making Meczoth cry out and twisting. But it only made the wound bigger as the dagger was pushed in right next to his hearth. He felt cold as the two assassins stepped away, Meczoth tried to reach for a dagger but he couldn’t. He couldn’t move his arm, neither his head nor anything. He was totally helpless as the anger appeared in his eyes, but he couldn’t do anything. He could only see the assassins putting the dead assassin on Meczoth bed before carrying him out the window before he could feel a great pain in his head and it all went black.

Meczoth felt a headache, as all was black. He slowly opened his eyes, it was blurry but he could see he was in a ruin. He tried to rub his eyes, when he found out he had been tied to a huge pillar. He could still feel the paralyzing effect; it was starting to wear off. The sky was dark and clear. Meczoth knew it was the same night; he looked around confused even as he knew what had happened. In front of him it appeared a Dunmer, dressed in a Redoran looking armor. He held his helmet to his hip as he looked up to Meczoth. He looked old and experienced, and had a sword that was attached to his shield. His dark red hair and several scars intimidated Meczoth not to go into a struggle right away, he knew better. He soon saw the assassins that captured him, he still remembered their faces as they walked up to the old Dunmer, and they too also had changed into some Redoran looking armor. They looked at Meczoth as a scum.
“Pathetic, three against one sleeping man and you manage to lose one and bring him back here with a Redoran dagger in his back!?” the old Dunmer said, almost making the assassins going down on their knees begging for mercy.
“We’re sorry, very sorry! It wont happened again, at least we got him” both of them said agreeing and nodding to the old Dunmer.
“Ah! I don’t want to hear this, question the other scum and find out what they know. I don’t want to see you in my face until I say so!” the old Dunmer cried out to both of the Dunmer’s making them run of into the darkness of the ruin and entering the shrine.
The old Dunmer approached Meczoth calm and grabbed his head looking into his eyes.
“What are you doing here Telvanni, going on a visit to your friend in Vivec are you?” the old Dunmer said quite aggressive to Meczoth. But Meczoth didn’t answer, neither would he to such a Dunmer, he was to afraid of beeing tricked into telling them something. The old Dunmer turned his back as he was going away before he turned fast and smacked Meczoth right in the face with his shield almost breaking his jaw and nose making him bleed and lose vision on his right eye.
“You’re a scum, having faith to Telvanni and even attacking our scouts. Leaving us ten dead and even capturing one of us, I hope you will inflict him great amounts of pain…” he Dunmer said as he walked away from Meczoth. “I guess you’re a very experienced man, I think we will rather try it on your friend…” he said before walking into the shrine.
Meczoth could hear great cries from the shrine as he knew they were torturing Jecross or who it was. Meczoth tried to untie himself, but it didn’t work. Meczoth either wanted to die or escape without leaking anything to the Redoran’s. But he could move on the pillar, it was simply too big. Meczoth started thinking of his chance to survive a possible escape. Meczoth started running out of hope for an escape, even as he had been awake for a few minutes.
Out of the shrine the old Dunmer came, he had a line of blood over his face. He walked past Meczoth, giving him an evil smile. Before walking out of his sight. Meczoth thought about what kind of torture they could have given Jecross. Meczoth tried to leaning forward and kick of the pillar as his hands was tied on the backside of the pillar. Meczoth pushed of as his arms got stretched, the dust from the pillar started to get shaken off. But then out of nowhere came the old Dunmer and slapped Meczoth in the face laughing.
“Haha! Nice try, but even if you would escape or kill all of us it would change anything for you. And how are you able to beat me unarmed?” the old Dunmer said laughing up in Meczoth face as Meczoth gave up and looked back at the Dunmer without saying anything.
The old Dunmer went off again into the shrine, Meczoth laughed and released all his strength and kicked off from the pillar before the rope got ripped off and Meczoth flew through the air and landed a couple of feet in front of the pillar. He got up fast and scanned around before running up to the round, old shrine door. He saw some equipment right next to the door, a well made one-handed battle axe; it was light but had a nice and big blade. Meczoth picked it up as he approached the shrine door, but then it turned around and the old Dunmer came out meeting Meczoth.
“I knew would escape, but going after us. I thought you were experienced, but it looks like we got the wrong scum here” he before charging into Meczoth knocking him down with his shield, Meczoth fell right down on his back before rolling down the stairs hitting the ground hard before looking up at the Dunmer with blood running down his face. He slowly grabbed the axe as the Dunmer walked down the stairs.
Meczoth held his guard low as he walked in a circle around the Dunmer, the Dunmer smiled before hiding behind his shield and charged Meczoth, Meczoth tumbled out of the way smoothly, but out of nowhere came a sword the sliced a long fine wound on Meczoth back, going right between his armor cracks. He was skilled Meczoth knew as he rised up, but it was only a minor wound.
Meczoth waited for the next attack as the Dunmer charged at him again, he held his shield high before knocking it down against Meczoth and striking right after with the sword, Meczoth dodged both attacks but lost balance and moved back. The Dunmer jogged in from the right getting total cover from his huge shield before leaping up to the air as he leaned to the left his sword came high before dropping down going straight down into Meczoth left shoulder, his clumsy block had no use. He had never fought with an axe. The cold, freezing blade went fast in and fast out before Meczoth dropped down on his knees. The blood ran out as he leaned to the left, slashing hopeless around himself as he was dying. The Dunmer looked into Meczoth eyes as his hope ran out and it looked like Meczoth had accepted his destiny.
Meczoth fell to the ground, looking against the stairs as his vision on more time became blurry and his muscles were losing strength.
“You were more easy then Jaaz and Sendora, both of them fought well for beeing in a ambush” he old Dunmer said before he walked up in front of Meczoth, gently touching his face with his foot. The old boot touched Meczoth jaw. Meczoth closed his eyes, ‘He killed them, he killed them all!’ he thought to himself as the Dunmer walked around. Meczoth got furious, he had killed Jaaz and Sendora, and Meczoth started regaining strength as he cried out leaping into the Dunmer’s back who was taken by surprise.
Meczoth slash lose, making two deep wounds in the Dunmers back before the Dunmer took a nice maneuver dropping his sword and grabbed Meczoth and threw him over his back. Meczoth tumbled and got up fast before throwing the axe straight at the Dunmer.
He tried to dodge but was to slow and the blade went straight into his chest going deep, cutting open the hearth. Meczoth knew he was dead and had no chance to survive that, Meczoth grabbed one of the four healing potions on the Dunmer’s belt before grabbing his sword and ran off out of the ruins into the dark. But without seeing it, the old Dunmer rised taking out the axe before looking into the dark...

Managed to write something today... So here it is..
Meczoth looked around almost panicking, it was water surrounding him. He couldn’t even see land; would he take the risk of jumping out into the cold water and swim off to nowhere? Meczoth knew he might have a chance, he had the sword. He turned back and looked through the swamp and could just see flashes of light, torches. They were coming he said to himself. Meczoth ran out into the diseased swamp water’s only his head was sticking out as he slowly moved into some rough plants and was out of sight.
“Ah how could you let him escape? I thought you were powerful enought to at least keep a prisoner” one of the men said to the old Dunmer. Meczoth looked supprised, shaking his head; he survived that blow – an axe straight into his hearth.
“Ah shut up! We’re not hunting him, he will return to Sadrith Mora I guess if he is stupid enough to take that chance, just search the Island and if you find him call on me” the old Dunmer demanded as he stood only few feet from Meczoth, he scanned around but Meczoth was under his sight and was trying to stay calm not giving off his position.
“You four stay here, search the Island. We go into the shrine and question the Telvanni Agent once more” he said and took seven men and went back against the shrine. The other’s sat down on some rocks and started talking, they didn’t look experienced at least how the acted now Meczoth thought.
With the cover of the night Meczoth moved out and up against the Dunmer’s who didn’t notice him, he took the first one slashing the enchanted blade deep into his neck before pushing him aside leaping on to the other stabbing his blade right into his chest twisting the blade around and holding over the Dunmer’s mouth so he couldn’t scream for help. He turned around as the third one looked stunned and made a run for the ruin, Meczoth tried to keep up but his wounds held him back. He grabbed the bow to one of the Dunmer’s and sent of an arrow right away, but he missed hitting a tree. He sent of another one, the arrow cut through the air hitting the Dunmer right in the kneecap making him fall straight to the ground. Meczoth jogged fast up before sending another arrow into the Dunmer’s back making the final kill. He stood there for a while before running into the swamp moving against the ruins. His instinct led the way as he dodged by the trees and came up against the ruin. He moved slowly against the wall of what seemed to have been a tower and peeked out.
He could see two Dunmer’s that stood outside the shrine entrance, both of them where armed and on the look out. One stood at the end of the stairs and the other at the shrine door, it was a smart position – Without getting spotted Meczoth needed to attack the one by the door. He lay down on the ground and crawled north against a little path way to get to the left of the stairs, it went slow and the Dunmer’s seemed to know something was wrong. They looked around, scanning the ruins as the one by the stairs held his shield up.
Meczoth sat on one knee and slowly slided an arrow on his bow aiming into the neck of the one by the shrine door. Meczoth closed his eye and let go of the arrow, it went straight in and got easily between the armor cracks near the neck, he Dunmer cried of as he grabbed for the arrow but fell dead on the ground after just a moment. The one at the stairs rush up against the door when he saw Meczoth load his bow and took the opportunity and leaped down and slashes loose against Meczoth. Meczoth blocked the bow with his bow but it broke and the Dunmer went in for a new attack against Meczoth stomach.
Meczoth dodged the slash as he leaped back, the Dunmer went in against pushing on with his shield making Meczoth tumble to the right, but the Dunmer saw the move coming and swiftly moved to his left and knocked Meczoth out of balance with his shield. Meczoth landed on his back as the Dunmer’s katana came down against his chest; Meczoth acrobatically dodged the katana and spun around tripping the Dunmer with his feet before drawing his sword. The Dunmer cried for held before he sat his shield in front of the blow, but the sword went through the shield and into the Dunmer’s shoulder making him send in another attack on Meczoth. Meczoth drew out his sword from the shield and blocked the poor strike from the wounded Dunmer.
Meczoth could feel the pain of his wounds appearing again, he wanted to finish this fast so he leaped on to the Dunmer as he rised and setting the edge of his sword only inches from the Dunmer that locked the sword with his katana and left hand. Meczoth pressed on as the sharp edge of the magical sword touched the Dunmer’s throat. The Dunmer’s eyes panic and was out of hope and soon the lock faded and Meczoth slashed on sending the edge long into his throat and cutting his neck. The Dunmer fell to the ground and Meczoth grabbed a healing potion from both the dead Dunmer’s as he ran up to the shrine gate. He drunk both of them and threw them into the swamp and opened the unlocked shrine door and ventured into the darkness.

Meczoth walked along side the wall heading done the stairs in the shrine, his left hand gliding against the wall as he held the sword out. It went one way straight ahead, and one one each flank. Meczoth scanned the flanks before running over to the long corridor straight ahead. Inside he could see a huge statue that was surrounded by pillars, he could see what he thought was Jecross. Tied to the leg of the statue. Surrounding him was six Redoran Agent’s including the old Dunmer.
Meczoth sat down in the shadows, only looking at the situation as the tortured Jecross, slowly stabbing him in the leg until he spoke out. What could he do, Meczoth was wounded and did not have a chance in Oblivion to kill the Redoran Agent’s and save Jecross, at least not get out of the Island alive. All kinds of feelings flooded through Meczoth, would he either escape now without any big trouble or with Jecross and taking the risk of both dying. Meczoth knew that he wouldn’t let Jecross stay; he wasn’t that kind of person even if he would leave he wouldn’t get out of the shrine door. Meczoth closed his eyes so hard he was about to bleed then he suddently stepped out into the light of the torches around.
“Its enough, just tell me what you want and let us leave from this Island” Meczoth said as he held his weapon low and seemed quite calm as he was out of hope for any escape.
“Haha! I didn’t expect this…” one of the Redoran Agent’s laughed out as he got ready and the others started to walk against Meczoth surrounding him, they didn’t take any chances.
“I hope you are very sure that you’re breaking the rules of your house now, giving up and telling us what we want to know. How do you even know we are going to spare you?” The old Dunmer said, trying to taunt Meczoth.
“Well I see I’ve done a mistake, trying to agree with a Redoran, waiting for you to promise me that we could go unharmed from this Island. I am pretty naive” Meczoth said, he tried to stay calm as he just figured out how stupid he really had been. He had a bow, and a sword if Jecross was able to fight they might have a chance to kill them and then get enough time to explore more of the Island.
They couldn’t be far from Vivec Meczoth thought as he needed to act fast.
“What can you tell us that your friend hasn’t already done?” The old Dunmer said giving a look back at Jecross.
“He hasn’t told you scum’s anything, you’re a terrible lier” Meczoth said, it was a clear bluff. Meczoth didn’t know Jecross well. And had no idea if he had followed the rules and kept his mouth shut, he looked at Jecross all that pain most have led to something.
“He has told us enough so there’s no use for any of you now” The old Dunmer said, another time he looked back at Jecross his body hanging by the leg very heavily beaten and wounded.
“You’re lying…” Meczoth said, hoping for the best. But as his final word spoke out, the old Dunmer gave of a laugh before drawing his sword and swung it around cutting straight down at the defenseless Jecross cutting straight down by his left shoulder blade. Jecross was almost cut in half and dangled there as the old Dunmer looked back reflecting his bloody sword in the fire from the torches.
“Kill him!” The old Dunmer cried out!
All charged in straight at Meczoth, two on his front right and left and three behind him. He fast tumbled to the left getting out of the ring before the first two came in with their sabers. They came shoulder to shoulder, first one blow hard against Meczoth face – He blocked it with his sword and pushed hard, making the Redoran Agent lose his balance before going in knocking the other in the face with his elbow before running past him cutting his legs. As he turned around getting ready for the others they were already up close, one blade came hurling down behind Meczoth who did an acrobatic parry before leaping back. Another two came in hard, stabbing in the air pushing Meczoth against the corner. He started parrying before leaping onto one of them, as he leaped his left side got clear and one of the Redoran’s went in low before piercing his long sword into Meczoth ribs. Meczoth was pinned to the wall as he didn’t even reach the other agent; he now rushed at him pushing him into the corner with his shield. One saber came down, hitting Meczoth sword. Meczoth was to wounded to keep on, he held some ground before losing his sword and falling on his knees leaning back against the wall.
One of the Redoran Agent’s grabbed him by the shoulder leaning over him getting ready to end it by piercing his blade into Meczoth chest.
“Enough!” The old Dunmer cried out right before the blade touched Meczoth throat. “We got him now, tie him up to the other leg” he said as he walked to the corner before he kicked Meczoth in the ribs making him spit up blood and fall to the ground. Meczoth was tied hard and carefully to the other leg by Jecross dead body. Then they started to leave the shrine, the old Dunmer walked up to Meczoth looking him into the eyes before smiling throwing down a steel dagger some two feet in front of Meczoth and then he started to walk up.
“Coward, fight me one on one!” Meczoth cried out in full anger and frustration as the old Dunmer walked up the stairs almost disappearing.
“Oh we will… We will, your gear is in the chest behind the statue. If I were you I would be leaving for Sadrith Mora as fast as I could as you come free” the old Dunmer said before Meczoth heard the shrine door opening and getting closed.
“Oh no” Meczoth said as he looked down at the ground, as the wind from the shrine door blew out the torches and shadows covered the whole place.

Chapter III
Meczoth had lost all hope as he leaned forward looking into the dark. The images of slaughter appeared in front of him in the darkness of the Shrine. Meczoth could see his loved nonce’s getting killed by the Redoran in Sadrith Mora. He closed his eyes; his anger grew as he thought of what might be going on in Sadrith Mora. He closed his eyes so hard blood started running down his face. He cried out as he leaned forward with all his strength, his arms stretching opening his wounds making the blood flow out as he did all in his power to come out. The rope thinthend around his wrist as the statue started moving. He could almost reach the dagger, but he couldn’t come longer. The pain was too great; the blood running from his eyes got mixed the tears as he almost gave up. Once again Meczoth cried out before leaning out, the pain on his arm was taking over. But he didn’t stop, suddently the joint at the shoulder let go making him lean left and managed to grab the dagger. He cut himself loose falling straight on the ground, he cried out in pain as the arm was dangling down. He sat up on his knees; he looked away as he smacked his hand on the arm pushing it back into place as he cried out almost making the darkness shatter. He reached for the chest behind the statue blinded finding his gear.
Meczoth started running straight ahead, tripping over the harsh stone floor in the shrine as he reached the stairs. Slowly touching the stairs as he moved up against the shrine door. He slowly opened the door, the bright light blinding him for a moment but as it came back he could see it was in the middle of the day.
“Let it be someone or something here that can bring me back” Meczoth said to himself, looking out for what ever that could gain him with hope of reaching Sadrith Mora. He ran off, out from the ruins into the swamp looking around but nothing. He reached the shore; he didn’t know which way it was. North or south, west or east. Meczoth fell down on his knees.
“May Azura guide over me…” Meczoth whispered to himself before he leaped into the water and started swimming straight ahead. He started sinking almost once he hit the water, his muscles wouldn’t do much more, but his will did. He kept on swimming, the gear was heavy and dragging him down against the sea floor. He stopped, having almost no power keeping himself at the surface. But then, something in the horizon. ‘It’s… its Bal Fell’ he thought to himself, he knew those ruins well. Suddently he gained strength and swam on, Bal Fell growing as he neared the shore.
The blood from his wounds had already spread out in the warm water and Slaughterfish was already starting to circle around him as he neared the shore. Then he reached out, touching the shore at Bal Fell. He almost climbed his way in before turned around looking straight up into the sky. He’s breath was heavy and it felt like he had a cramp in every muscle. His power was totally drained.
Meczoth closed his eyes, he just layed there for a moment. Before rising up, he looked around and could see he was on the south side of Bal Fell. ‘Vivec most be to the west then’ he thought and turned west and started walking, he was still tired and wet. He took his little sack that he had and tried to find out what he had, he was unconcerned by food but he knew he needed to take the fastest way till Sadrith Mora and that was by teleporting from the Mages Guild in Vivec.
He soon neared Vivec, approaching Foreign Quarters. The sun was at its highest when he approached the bridge, the Ordinator on the other side looked weird on Meczoth, the typical outlander look Meczoth thought as he went past the Ordinator.
“Now what have you been too?” the Ordinator asked Meczoth has he had walked past him, Meczoth knew how the Ordinators could act sometimes. In these types of situations he would usually reach for his sword.
“Fighting beasts outside Bal Fell, and needed to take the fastest way to Vivec” Meczoth replied, “And that’s to get wet” he added, giving a last look on the Ordinator before going up against the top level.
As Meczoth went up he gave a look back down, he could see the Ordinator standing down there keeping a watch on Meczoth. But Meczoth wouldn’t expect to not get attention walking into Vivec in his almost totally destroyed armor, wet and bleeding. As he walked into the Mages Guild he was greeted a warm welcome by an Altmer, she even offered Meczoth healing. Meczoth, denied the offer thought and gave over some septims before taking a few healing potions in his pouch and ran down. He approached a mage that was offering to teleport him.
“Ah! Hello there!” another Altmer woman greeted Meczoth, “Oh… Would you like me to heal your wounds young Dunm-“ “No thanks, I need to get teleported to Wolverine Hall fast!” Meczoth said as the woman spoke already handed her several septims in her hand.
She didn’t have a second thought and new the Dunmer was in a hurry. She spoke out some strange, magical words almost flooding around Meczoth as her hands went in a circle from her knees and it came some strange light sparks and suddently it all went blurry. For a moment, it was all black and his vision started to come back. It was a little blurry at the start but soon he saw he was in an Imperial Fort, the nice stone work and banners. He was yet again greeted by a young woman standing next to him in a nicely made robe. Meczoth without even greeting back rushed out of the hall and into the stairway
