People often die on journeys and adventures to caves, ruins, other towns or whatever because they are un-prepaired or something goes wrong and it leaves them stranded.

My names Cavius Servius, and i'm a SurvivorMan!

For Seven days I will be dropped off in the middle of nowhere, with no water and no food! All I'll have is a candle, a piece of rope, and a pocket-knife! It's my job to use these tools to give me an advantage over death.

(intro stops)

I've been dropped off by horse in the middle of the forest in Cyrodill. I am five days from any sign of human civilization! I've been left with no compass or map, just a candle, a piece of roap, and a pocket knife.

It's winter time out here right now, and the snow has been falling heavily for the last few hours, and it's starting to get dark. My job right now, is to make a shelter that will help me survive the harsh winter nights to come.

First off, i'm going to see if I can't make some sort of shelter out of the snow. Snow, once you've got them designed into blocks, are great heat inselators and do a great job of protecting you from the harsh winter winds. I'm going to get to this and come back to you when i'm done.

(building blocks out of the snow)

Okay, I've been at this for several hours now, and I don't know what time it is, but i'm thinking its somewhere around 3 in the morning. I'm going to try to get some sleep, and try to save all the energy I have for when I start to head out.

(OOC: Bagh i have to continue this tomorrow its like friggin' 3am here, i'ma hit they hay and finis hthis up tomorrow.)

I think (just me of course) that survior is kinda a multiperson thing (more than one person) while Oblivion& other TES games are... wel... kinda one person.

"Survivorman" implies that there is only one man so the logic behind it is correct. I think the author was shooting for a character like one of those guys that goes out into the wilderness in harsh conditions to show that he can make it, usually its kind of funny and also kind of sad watching them do it.

Anyways I found this to be interesting, reminds me of a discovery channel show I watched with some australian guy where he describes the obvious things he's doing in great detail, even though anyone can tell what he's doing without his descriptions they make it entertaining.

I'll be sure to tune in for the next episode. laugh.gif

(exciting music.)

He knows how to survive....
Not even a Nord can resist the cold like him.....
He fights creatures for food...
Using just his bare hands.....
He lives on his own where no one would dare.....
And he lives to tell the tale....
It is the amazing Survivorman!

Sorry, couldn't resist. Anyway, it is an interesting idea and well done.
Me, I am more than happy with the conveniences of civilization.

And I've seen an Australian guy on Discovery channel a few years back. I think he wanted to die. Listen to this.
,,Oh my god, that Komodo dragon (or something like it, a big lizard) nearly bit me! If it bit me, I would be death! Let's follow it!" wacko.gif
Now why do I think there is something wrong with his way of thinking? smile.gif
