I agree to help Ku-dee (or what evere she is called) (Bravil mage guild).. She wanted me to help her friend.. i went in to his dream and then i got in to this room.. there is alot of trapes that is killing me.. after 3-4 times i put the difficult lvl to lowest but is still kiils me in a sec.. and i dont now how to get past the trappes
HyPN0
You mean the little darts?
There is a special way that doesn't trigger the trap.Step on the block in front of you.You will see that nothing hits you.Now step one block further. The trap triggers. That means you must find another route.Take your time and find it out.
Tatsuzin
thx.. Well i will try.. Will get a kind of zelda felling over it biggrin.gif
HyPN0
Trust me,this is probably the most intresting set of traps in the game.......Oh,and you might consider a little jumping biggrin.gif
Count Valerius
THE DARTS! i know how to solve this one. before each test there is a box with something inside to help you. for the darts you get a piece of paper with daedric symbols on it. this is the key to completing thie darts with the stones part. look closely at the patterns on the paper, one of the symbols be repeating itself side by side showing a path through each set of stone squares. its difficult to describe but study it and you will figure it out. think of it like a word search smile.gif

Jumping doesn't work... I just ran though the traps I lasted with a handful of heath(nothing an hour of waiting wont heal)... but i was level 13 (or something) at the time so yeah... I saw a pic in the hint guide at walmart.. but I don't remember what the path is... I recomend alot of saves...
Konji

Remember:To develop your Athletics better swim than run.Just explore the lakes a little (i even found a secret trapdoor underwater!) and there you go.

To develop your Acrobatics just jump like a monkey wherever you go.It will develop in no time.I picked Athletics as a major and i decided to develop Acrobatics as a misc.My Athletics is lower than Acrobatics ironicly.(Acrobatics is very easy to develop)

NO NO NO! You are all missing the point of the dreamworld!

It is supposed to be a puzzle! Treat it like a puzzle! You can get through without any trap going off! you might as well all be pow3rg4mers the way you're all goin on about. Why don't just go to the console and put tgm on?? You are missing the point entirely of this part of the dreamworld! You are told how to get through without having to even press the jump button! christ....

Yes,you are told.
How boring.
What is the point of it if you allready know how to pass it?
Konji
What's the point of not using cheats if you know there are cheats?

NO NO NO! you are missing one of the main Points of the Elder Scrolls series!

the main point that your are missing is that the ES series gives you the Freedom to complete any task however the hell you want, and to let you do whatever the hell you want, whenever the hell you want to! christ....

I know, but disregarding one of the ways of doing - the way the developers spent time creating - and getting people who've never done it bfore to say they'll train up their acrobatics... this thread is just weird.
Furious_George
LOL you guys are funny.
You can complete it anyway you like.
However, you can't really jump/run too fast - there are 'invisible barriers' that make you drop down and take your dart medicine (I know from watching my wife try). The puzzles are really so very simple, which is fine by me since I appreciate how MW/OB isn't about puzzles. The dreamworld is all about looking for patterns. Just look for the symbol that creates a 'path' through each maze.

Congrats.

I love dreamworld. That was my favorite quest in the game. Theres no point in reminding him ofthe chest because he probably finished already...
Count Valerius
im with konradude because the puzzle isnt even really that had to figure out, and its a lot easier than jumping across. really, just look at the paper and study it for a bit, the path is in it.
Aki
I walked through the dart part.

Theres a very small strip of no-dart-ness between the squares that trip the traps. I slowly walked across that. Got a few dart baths, but was otherwise okay. biggrin.gif

Yup...
You need to use some "Tomb Raider-thinking".... biggrin.gif
Joryn
Its quite simple really. Im suprised so many people have taken to barging through it. Since there is a dart trap and pressure panels logic shows that there is a specific path to follow. And its blatantly obvious Beth didnt intend you to die over and over again reloading until you find the right path. The name of the part of the dreamworld is a clue. And also what you find in a cask at the start is intended to help you.

Still playing a mage makes you think a little more about what youre doing. Sure just like warriors can smash over and over mages can blast. But I actually thought those dreamworld puzzles were too easy.

yeah.. i did that quest when I was still new to dungeon traps... (granted I still get hit by them everyso often...)
Olav
I did that quest while I was showing the game to my niese. After several deaths and attempts of jumping across - getting more and more frustrated and embarassed - she said "why don't you take another look at that paper you found ". And so I did and all my worries were over... laugh.gif

I admit the first time I got nailed. And accidents do happen, but overall once you get the idea, its downhill from there.

nono.gif What I did is jump between the sqars vary quiecly you'll get hit but you wont die!

Well that depends on your initial health points.
ThanadoS
i jumped over the whole first set of traps and over the second with one landing, cost me about 10 health... no problem really smile.gif

'Tis a rpg, no puzzle kind of game smile.gif
Konji
if the role is of a puzzle solving explorer - then you should puzzle solve play the role in your ROLE playing game.
Olav
Well I couldn't jump across, even with lots of acro skill. Whenever I tried I hit an 'invisible wall' in midair, and fell down on the platforms. I assumed this was the same for everyone.

Of course the amount of damage you'll take depends on difficulty setting too.

Same here, wish there would be more like these. It really felt rewarding when completing this just by thinking.
A bit Indiana Jonesy feeling to it smile.gif

Haha! I thought just the same thing while stepping on the squares in order. "But in latin Jehovah starts with an I!"

Exactly what I thought too! huh.gif
That map was really two easy - I wanted the script to have some meaning - like for us to spell something, but it was fun nonetheless.
