I need help with the shrine. I use it but then when I leave jail it says I didnt affect everyone. What do I do?

It's a bug i experienced too.You will have to escape the guards and run away naked to the shrine.And your stuff will wait you there (At least it worked for me)

I cant escape the gaurds. Theyre everywhere.

Edit: I tryed running but as soon as im out it says that message. Where do I have to be so they dont see me?

I used invisibility and boost speed
You should look that cast the spell and run away through any nearest route.
There probably is a better way to solve this quest,but i don't know it.Sorry i'm not much of a help

It tells me the spell is gone when its still there. Can you serve your term and still finish the quest?

Hmmmm,this one is bugy......
You know what,try this:Cast the spell (It must catch EVERYONE) and when the guard aproaches then resist arest.I think that's the way i did it.After you finish the quest clear your bounty (pay in Thieves Guild,it pay the guards when you get your gold back)

It's not about the staff.If you don't do every Daedric Shrine quest,you won't be able to activate the Hermaeus Mora's quest,which by the way,has exelent reward

Rofl i gave up on this quest as soon as the guard wouldnt let me in the dining room and the door wouldnt open and i found no other way in... just like i gave up on the chorrol castle quest when i couldnt find a third clue ANYWHERE but i knew who stole the painting... bah i hate castle quests

I hated that quest too - very buggy.
I'll try Hypno's solution, just run to the statue when I've spelled 'em.
Earlier I served my time, but that meant I lost a few stolen items (to solve that I did the 'ol, drop the stolen items before going into the banquet room trick).

Um... Your items disapear after you do the spell... I guess Il try to use the gray fox mask for that then. It will disappear right when the spell hits so the bounty will gbo away. First I have to lock the gaurds out.

Gray Cowl won't work.It disapears when you cast the spell.
Don't worry,your items will wait for you when you talk to Sanguine.

Ok I wasted your time. Sorry. The quest didnt work because the countess wasnt in the room. I managed to kill gaurds with magic and get my stuff back. And then paid 2200 gold for murder.

you need to go to the castle between like 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM if you want to talk to her. Just go into the county hall and she should be sitting at her throne.

Okay, I've found the countess and talked to her, but there's no option about the dinner party. Is there something I have to do first? (Aside from visiting the shrine, obviously )

When I did this I arrived at the castle about 8 PM I think, and the party was already started. I used a detect life spell to notice there were a lot of people in one of the rooms on your right when you enter the county hall.

Then I spoke to the guard who was guarding the door to the party (you can't enter the room), and he said something like 'ok you look like you're dressed for a party, go ahead in!' (and I was wearing my glass armour ). And then I went in and did the job.

I admit I had to laugh when I saw what that spell did...

What you do is, you must hit the Countess with the spell in order to work. I figured that outt he hard way.
