I have tons of loot, and need to get rich. Can somebody point me to a very wealthy merchant? Someone with atleast 5000 gold, or will have 5000 gold if i invest in them.

thanks

No such thing, sorry. At least i didn't find him.
Fathis Ulen has 1,500 gold with him. He's has the most gold in the game i think.
Count Valerius
where can i find him? isnt he a thieves guild fence?
Konji
Aye, if you've fdone the weatherleah quest he's in Chorrol, otherwise he's somewhere in the Imperial city I think.

Yes, Ulen is the richest.
Ironically, I've never gotten him to sell to me, even though I've sold $thousands of gold in loot, and am Master Thief.
No matter. There are several $1200 merchants in Market District, as well as several others in cities. I sold to one in Skingrad a few times.... I know these are listed at uesp.com in their wiki's.

I've got a few houses maximally decorated, and over $250 k in gold. Once you start finding Daedric, even though you can only sell it at $1200 a pop, it's easy to get rich. I pick up only daedric boots for the cost to weight ratio (plus rings and such).

I made a fortune selling Daedric Daggers.Just as boots they are light and cost more than 1,500 so i can sell them at maximum price.
Tatsuzin
well i have a nice ring that give me 105 in feather so i can pick up stuff for 605... so i pick up a lot of compassion and sell it... i have 40k now but i just train my skill and got the house in skingrad full dekorated... I will look for more deadra stuff.. but what do i need money for? meen im lvl 26 so there ist much to do i guess

True. Daggers are even better, but a little less common I think.

With his full enchantments (cowl of nocturnal, strength enhancing armor/shield/rings/amulet) my redguard can carry over 1000 in weight tongue.gif So he's very very rich now.

Hehe, that's great.....but as i see it,there isn't much point in gold. All the gold i'm spending is on arrows and repair hammers.I make my own potions and poisons,so i don't need that.I allready enchanted myself so i don't need any more gold for that either.Right now,i'm spending all my gold on buying houses. What else can i do? kvright.gif

Correct, the gold doesn't do much, except make me RIIIICH!

I don't even spend on hammers any more, since I'm master armorer now. And yes, expert on alchemy as well. I've bought all the houses. Hehe, here is where it would be fun to do a Fable-style rampage, kill everyone, buy their houses and own EVERYTHING in Cyrodiil. laugh.gif
