OK,i have a BIG ONE.....the whole game actualy.
Here's my config:

Procesor: Intel Pentium 3GhzDual Core
Graphic Card: ATI Radeon x600
Monitor: Dell E176FP
RAM: 1024 MB at 533 Mhz
Motherboard:Intel

So,you agree i have about recommanded requirements?
Now can somebody explain to me how come that i'm forced to play the game in 800x600 rsolution,low details,no AA,no bloom effect, and the game still doesn't work properly?Especialy when there are more people on the screen,or when something with 4 legs is on

Oh yeah,i downloaded the newest version of ATI Catalyst.But even before i downloaded it,the game was runing crappy.

It supprises me you have to play with so low settings, everything except you're graphic card is fully capable of handling the game - And the graphic card ain't that bad either. Anyway, I don't think you should care so much about 'AA' and 'Bloom' since I run the game without both of them and I think I'm using something called 'HDR' insted of 'AA' and the graphics is sweet no matter if I'm fighting 15 people while spraying around with spells... Bloom effects made my graphic pretty nasty since it get's so bright, the stone walls reflect light like a bronze plate and it's really no use from what I've experianced...

But what happens if you try to set up the detail but have the same resolution, since you should be able to run higher...

I'm telling you,even with this ultra-low settings the game doesn't work properly.Sometimes the frame rate goes bellow 15,or that is how it seems

I have allready sent a e-mail to bethsoft asking for Technical Support.My guess is that the game is poorly designed for my graphic card,and that patch will come out soon.All that is left for me is to hope
But if somebody knows how can i solve this,please....tell me.

Well... I hope someone can solve you're problem Hypno. I've looked into Game Performace and such on the web, and I also found a very usefull guide - In Norwegian thought how to simply improve you're PC. By deleting things you don't need and such (think you can find something about it on www.win-xp.com)

There's a lot of crap on a PC that you can delete or change to improve you're performace and also help not getting lag etc. while playing games... Worth checking out

I allready have a Registry Optimiser.......I use WinASO, and my brother uses Registry Mechanic....they both work well i guess.....

I doubt i will find anything useful (i haven't so far),because otherwise my computer works good.I can run games like Quake 4,Star Wars:Empire at War,Battle for middle earth,and a lot of that new stuff without problems.The only problem is Oblivion

Maybe you can delete all those other games to make space and increase performance?

I allready have 30GB free

Oh, well thats all the help I can offer I guess (I'm not a tehnical wizard). I have no Idea whats wrong with your comp.

Be sure to make sure nothing is bugging your system up.

Defragment hardrive(s) by going to
Start\Programs\Accessories\System Tools\Disk Defragmenter\

This tweak makes it so Oblivion doesn't thread load.

Go to
My Documents\My games\Oblivion\Oblivion.ini
Search for these certain threads and change them to what is listed

This tweak can increase performance by up to 10 FPS, it stops Oblivion from thread loading, and your computer looks like it shouldn't have thread loading problems though. It probably will help though

The game freezes when I'm in the MD cave and get my stuff taken. Maybe it's because of my shoddy piles of crap i carry everywhere
