In the MQ, when you find the Mythic Dawn cave and get your stuff taken off you, it freezes! Can anyone help me? Why is it doing this? Is it just because I have such huge amounts of shoddy crap that it breaks down?

It doesn't happen to me.....

Try lowering your resolution,turning off AA and disabling bloom effect.
Offcourse you can turn settings back to normal after the cave is done

Try reinstalling, just go get the My Games\Oblivion folder backed up and then reinstall.

Does it happen when they take you're equipment, or when you go inside? Because if it's when he takes you're equipment it sounds more like a bug then graphic issues for me, but you can always try what Hypno said first...
