Has anybody been able to activate Hermaeus Mora's shrine yet? cause when I talked to the guys hanging around the statue they said that I haven't chosen the right Path yet, and when you obtain the quest by talking to the people around the shrine it doesn't show you where to go on the compass.

My guess is that you must fallow the EXACT path to the mountain.....no shortcuts
I'm also not accepted at Namira's Shrine.I think i need more infamy to trigger that one

heh, I have trouble with activating Namiras shrine too. I raised my bounty to like 6000 one time by killing guards thinking that it would be suitable enough to activate Namiras shrine but I still couldn't activate it even with that high of a bounty

I think that infamy is the key.Your Infamy has to be higher that your fame.I have a REALLY high infamy (no wonder:Dark Brotherhood,Thieves Guild) but i have more fame (Arena Grand Shampion,Arch-Mage and so on)......

Oh, well in that case I might as well just donn my gray cowl because you receive 0 fame when you wear it but you also get 100 infamy

I'm guessing that your personality might have to be below 10 to activate the shrine

EDIT: haha! Namiras shrine isn't even CLOSE to weird when it's compared to Hermaeus Mora's shrine

How high is your personality?
Is it lower than 68?

heh, I'm an Orc so my personality is definetly lower than 68. I think thats it's somewhere in the 30's. the problem is that I think my Orc won't be able to cast a drain personality spell thats powerful enough to lower my personality down to 10 (my Orc isn't a mage after-all).

I just tryed this as a console command.It worked.At Personality 8 i have got the quest.....
Still,this is a cheat and i won't continue the game like this....I will craft the Drain Persona spell and cast it

You........Maybe you could make a potion?

Potions that have negative effects are always counted as poisons and you can only use poisons on weapons, so that won't work

EDIT:wait! I know a solution! I could drink some alcoholics! that'll lower my personality!

not that I know of. But you could drink some alcoholics, that'll lower your personality

i was at azuras shire and dropped the glow dust(i think that is what it is called) in front of the shire and waited from dawn to dust and nothing happened, am i doing something wrong?

This isn't the thread to discuss this,bit since me and xycolian allready spoiled it........

You have to aproach the shrine at about 8PM (or is it AM?) with Glow Dust in your inventory.You will be asked do you want to make an offering

I'm pretty sure Dawn and Dusk is at 7 (it doesn't matter unless it actually says one of the two) At least thats what I remember from Morrowind. They might of changed it but I doubt it.

To get Hermaes's shrine quest you have to beat all the other ones first and then you get a special book that Permanently boosts a few attributes.

Remember not to drop it - keep it in your inventory when you approach.
Any time between 6-8 should work.
