Today Bethesda announced they will be making a Beta patch available for download very soon.

Bethesda mentioned they would release both a patch for the localised (non english) versions in Europe and for the American version, though the localised versions would appear later.

Great! Maybe it will solve a few problems that annoy me.

Why did I buy the armor add-on. It won't even work for Windows XP Professional 64-bit edition. Now I have to wait 8 months for them to fix that.

Ouch, get a different hardrive, or partition, and dual boot windows XP 32-bit along with it.

I see problems that can be ironed out, but oblivions well made. All the problems Ive had are hardware lag.

do we have to buy the patch too? no j/k good thing they are going out with a patch though, granted this will have to be one of the most patched game. SO many things to go wrong

I don't think a patch could possibly fix all the things missing in Oblivion! But they can try ....
