Is there poison in thge game ? If there is were can I find it? Because I want poisoned glass arrows and daggers
Aki
You can find poison, but loot (Well, loot you find in crates and barrels and such in dungeons) is usually keyed to your level, so if you're not high level you'll find crappy poisons, I've only found a "Weak poison of Paralyze" or somesuch. 3 seconds of paralyze.

Your best bet is to work up your alchemy skill nice and high by collecting lots of ingrediants. Then you can tell which ingrediants have negative effects and, then you can get alchemical equipment like a mortar and pestle, albemic, calcinator, etc. And then make your own, more effective poisons. wink.gif

Your alchemy skill determines wether or not you know the properties of a item. So you may have items that have unknown properties. Or just unlucky.

Once Oblivion gates start opening, I bet anything in there is good for poison. Them plants are...well, you'll find out. evillol.sml.gif

Hmm, is there a way combine poisonus plants or potions to weapons yourself? With alchemy??
That would be awesome, but I'm a bit lazy now to try to find that out myself...

Thats the whole point of poisons. Once you turn poisnous ingrediants into poisons (Any negative-effect potion is refered to by the game as "poison" instead of "potion") you merely need to use them as you would a normal potion and it will be applied to your weapon, IIRC.

I have no idea what happens if you are not armed. Maybe you drink it. Hehe.

so if I used that potion (or poison i forget) of illness in the starter dungeon I would have poisoned my weapon?
Duncan Frost
It gets poisoned for your next hit only. You can do it with arrows too.
