I got painted over by Blizzard Entertainment. It costs about $10 to send my cds in, and get a new authentication key. My second disc of WoW was also corrupted, so that painted over my playing of the guest pass. Note to self, make your account after you install the game.
If any of you have a guest pass laying around, I'd really appeciate it if you let me use it.

It's a 10 day trial of the game.

I need help getting around this installation error. I would seriously like to play WoW before I go to work tomorrow. If somebody could help me, I would gladly play on their server and return the favor one or way or another.
Patch data is bad. (source CRC mismatch: 704243211/-62338912)(BNUpdate:PTCApply) is the message I keep getting.
I run Windows XP Professional 64-Bit Edition
1 GB PC3200 DDR RAM
AMD64 2800+
ASUS-K8V SE motherboard

Hmm... I think you should do the classic re-install and check if it doesn't work, since you're not online with the game it can't be any of those patches so it most be with the file itself. Re-install is the only thing I can come up with, if that doesn't work then I have no idea - It's not you're specs, since WoW has low spec requirements...

I'm gonna try to install it in safe mode. Do you know how to boot up in it?
