Well after i become the gereat champ of the arena i had alot of money to spend. So i went to anvil and bought a big house. I like it but it was all dirty and there was this strange mark on the wall in the basement. So that night when i sleept in my bed i got waked up by a few ghost. So i run to the closet and got my weapon and i slashed the ghost to there was only green dust on the floor. I checked my quest and i had to find the man that sold me the house. I found him in the imperial city and we talk and there was nothing more.

The quest says that i need him to come with me back to Anvil to get the ghost away. But there is no way to get him back all conversation is dark and hi has a 100 in how much he like me. so there is no way to convince him to follow me. The quest is still noy done and the house is still hunted..

Plz its a house from hell i tell u..

How do i continue the quest? sad.gif

was it to hard to understand what i ment?

Nope, I know exactly what you mean. Same thing happened with me. And no, I havn't been able to complete that quest either. In fact when I make it my active quest, it doesn't even show up a quest marker.

On the Chorrol.com site it has a house help section that tells exactly what to do. I dont even have the game yet (waiting for it in in mail, I am in Iraq) but according to the help there is a skeletal hand underneath a towel or blanket or somesuch...
Dang it, I cant remember, hang on.
I will get you a link.....

That should do it... That probably isnt a link cuz I used fast reply, but I am sure you are aware of the copy/paste function, lol...

Enjoi!!

FYI- that is also the same page that shows actual stats and locations of all horses, as well as costs, where to buy them, and where they can be stolen.

<edit> What do you know, the link did work!! <edit>

Unfortunatly I did that, and the guy didn't go the counts arms, he just told me to pretty much go away. Thanks anyway though.

Also that FAQ is wrong - the house in Chorrol is a lovely place, and actually has a name. Can't remember what, although I own the house - Gablewatch or something. It's outside the Great Oka, built on two storeys with three seperate areas (main area, a seperate suite area, and a guest bedroom area), bought from the Countess for 20,000 gold, with furnishings bought from the Chorrol general store.

The house described under the Chorrol heading on the site is the one in the Imperial city.

I am sure they will correct it soon. I am amazed they got it out in just over a week after release. Hell, if I had the game I would be WAY too busy playing to be bothered with compiling lists of gear and such. Thanks to the guys that were kind enough to set aside play time for that...

Benirus Manor.
I had trouble getting him to show up at the coat of arms too.
After you talked to the old owner, did you talk to the innkeeper? I think that glitched the quest.... because the innkeeper says the guy just arrived in town (again, AFTER I already talked to the guy). I reloaded, talked to the inkeeper first, then the old owner, and he came with me. Also make sure you have the hand as mentioned earlier.

Nice one. I'll try it if I ever decide I want a house in Anvil. I don't really like the town - the countess is up herself, nobody is what they seem to be, and the lighthouse view is always ruined by fog.

At least it's better than Hovel. I mean Brevil.

oh I did that quest and all u have to do is sleep one night. grab the hand and the gernal, go talk to that guy, make him follow you back, then lead him through and kill the monsters... I loved it. =)
