I need to do azura's shrine but I cant find any willowisps. Where are they?
xycolian
just go like maybe 50 feet in front of the statue and you'll see these little yellow floating glowing balls which are will-o-the-wisps
bloodyfish
Still cant find any.

What's your level?
Anyway, you can buy Glowing Dust in an Alchemy shop for Azura's Shrine quest smile.gif
Try The Main Ingridient or the Gilded Gerafe in Imperial City Market District wink.gif

Im level 25. So ya I think I should see them. Il go buy it but I just wanted to see the will o wisps too.
softwhisper
believe me, you will see will-o-the-wisps eventually, annoying little buggers. there's a quest, can't remember where, some little town...
there have been disapearances, and people were sent to investigate a cave. they never came back. you will see them outside the cave on this quest, absolutely

been a few days though, can't remember if it's a faction quest (either mages or fighter's guild) or just a random quest... think it's mages though.

don't know why you haven't run into them yet though, from level 18 to 25, they were as common as cliff racers for me. got really annoying to, those things are hard to kill sometimes.
bloodyfish
With an enchanted deadra longsword? Most things are easy. I also want to know cliff racers in Oblivion or Morrowind? I never saw cliff racers in Oblivion but a lot in Morrowind.
softwhisper
i meant in morrowind. they were just a tad... eh... really freakin' annoying!

with will-o-the-wisps, my problem was, i was trying to kill them with iron arrows fired from a poorly enchanted (and used up) bow. then i would close in with the trusty enchanted short sword(also with no charges). all in all, the character wasn't very good at taking on strange enemies like WotW's. after getting a daedric bow, a crapload of elven arrows, and various swords from daedra quests, they became much easier to handle.
bloodyfish
I think I have enough deadric items to kill them. If I find them.
HyPN0
You might try the Blackwood region.
Fuzzy Knight
I found those whisps around the statue area, I tried to attack with my sword but it didn't work - So I had to use spells on one, killed it and got the dust smile.gif They should be swarming around...

All you needed is an enchanted weapon (Daedric would do also).
softwhisper
or if you're in a pinch for cash, silver works too, just takes longer cause the damage on silver weapons is crap biggrin.gif
bloodyfish
I still cant find it so Ill just buy it then.
