Does anyone know if the folks who wrote the Morrowind Script Extender, Morrowind Enhanced or the FPS Optimizer are still around to work their magic on Oblivion?

I'm frustrated by the feeble number of hotkeys/quickkeys available. It's fewer than Morrowind (!), and there's not even a "next spell"/"previous spell" button to cycle through the options. In Morrowind, I ended up with each of my hotkeys mapped to spells spaced at intervals through my list, and I knew (for instance) that my 100 point Open spell was 6]], two past the 20 point Open spell.

So, I thought I might try to write a mod to allow "banks" of hotkeys. Create a "Hotkey Helper" item that you could map to a hotkey, and when activated it would modify your hotkeys so that the next hotkey you hit selected a different bank of 7 mappings (the 8th being reserved for the Hotkey Helper), giving you 8 banks of 7 hotkeys for a total of 56. You could have one bank for your favourite combat spells, one for exploring (nighteye, feather, detect life, open very easy/easy/etc. lock), one for various levels of healing, etc.

All I'd need to write this little beauty would be the ability to get and set a given hotkey from the script language. No such luck, though... nothing to access the hotkeys. So now my only hope is some sort of external script enhancer.

Anyone know if anything like this is being worked on?
