Full Version: Could someone here with a system like mine

I'm getting a laptop with these specs:

70 GB hard drive
1 GB RAM
1.73 GHz Pentium M processor
NVidia GeForce Go 6200 (128 MB)

So, I was just wondering if anyone here could post some screenshots of what kind of quality I'd be in for with those specs.

They don't have to be exactly like my specs...mainly just a similer video card (same as or equivalent).

Thanks,

Ereneth.

P.S. this is my first post...woohoo!

It would be on medium settings. Could someone who runs on medium settings post a picture for this fine person?

Wow, you people are alot nicer than some of the ones at the primary ES forums...everyone there just said stuff like: "Your laptop t3h suck0rx!!!"
Volsung
Oh, I've definently been through that before. It's annoying, and I wouldn't want to put people through it. No need for laptop/specs-related insults. The next time I come on Oblivion, I'll set my settings to medium and take some screenshots for you.

What I'd like to know is: do I have a chance of my game like looking anything close to this?

I figure you won't be able to use HDR, or 4x AA so look forward to No anti-aliasing, and bloom lighting. The water effects will be the same though. Yes, I'm almost certain it will look sorta like that. That's what mine looks like.

I would get a better proseccor because i have a 2.00 ghz and mine is really lagy and i have a gig of ram so i dont think that that is the problem.

That's on bloom, with no anti-aliasing. I guess that would be the equivlent of medium settings.
I love my zombie! He has a bit of a teething problem, but he's like a son to me.
